On the first day of each month, we release Grace & Knowledge, a more in-depth article from Paul that allows him to expand on biblical truths beyond his weekly Wednesday’s Word. Our prayer is that this resource helps you “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen” (2 Peter 3:18).In this month’s Grace & Knowledge, Paul reminds us that while fear is a natural part of life in a broken world, our hearts must be ruled not by fear of our circumstances but by a greater, hope-filled fear of God—trusting his power, presence, and grace in every moment.

Mephibosheth was one of the last surviving members of Saul’s family—a man crippled in both feet, calling himself nothing more than “a dead dog.” Yet King David, remembering his covenant with Jonathan, sought him out—not for punishment, but for grace, welcoming him to dine at the king’s table. In today’s episode, we return to Paul’s sermon series from the archives, David: A Matter of the Heart. In a fallen world, things are not always what they seem to be. Such is the case in 2 Samuel 6, when the Lord kills Uzzah for simply touching the Ark of the Covenant in the wrong fashion. How does the Bruised Reed fit into this topic? Is our inability to cope with circumstances that were emotionally devastating a sign that our faith was and is illegitimate? The church often heaps on more guilt, blame and shame only to increase one's pain and disillusionment. I feel that there are people's faith that have been reduced to that of a mustard seed, simply hanging by a thread, but trying to trust God through it all while trying to make sense of it all.
amazing podcast.
Excellent podcast that applies the Bible in very clear and practical ways.
Thank you! It really helps to hold to Jesus
Great podcast but I find the background music too much and hard to concentrate on what Paul's saying.
Why is the speaker so sarcastic? The content is good but the sarcasm is patronising.
Thank you for putting into words what I could not, but knew in my heart, regarding yoga.
Love The Podcast, I have finally found a good Christian podcast!
