Description

When I was younger, I constantly yearned for knowledge. I’d always been outspoken and first in line to question and challenge authority and what others thought was normal. Nothing made sense to me on a base level and always prompted me to seek a deeper meaning to what others accepted as reality. This search for self-actualization led me to depression, addiction, being labeled as an outcast, and even narrowly avoiding death. While I was talking with the man in the mirror one day, I decided that changes had to be made swiftly to avoid losing everything. The answer became clear to me after a brutal, but life changing 40 day fast I implemented on myself. Not only did it show me how strong my resolve was but how powerful I could become with a strong focus on accountability, and self-worth. The chains of addiction, fatalistic thinking, and codependency fell off and I started reconditioning my brain to start asking deeper questions again but also to be open and honest instead of just trapped within the confines of my psyche. This allowed me to start seeing a greater purpose for myself than just existing alone. It wasn’t long after I broke free from the hamster wheel and started running my own path that a close friend suggested I start a podcast to share my experiences and hopes and that’s how Unseen Twisted Truths was born. Our mission here is to promote honest open dialogue between real people from all walks of life, dealing with real issues that affect us all, and spearhead physical change in the world. We have a fundraiser in place to help keep our local homeless population warm this winter with apparel and bedding and don’t plan on stopping there. When the truth is twisted, and the future is unseen; real talk and unity will be the light out of the darkness. come join us on The People's Podcast with the ears that will listen and where your opinion matters.

I’ve always hated war. Nothing else forces us to confront the duality of human nature quite like war—except maybe love. War leaves a mark on all of us. It shapes our families, our stories, even the way we see ourselves as people. But here’s the paradox: some believe peace is worth maintaining at any cost, while others think that war, strong aggressive action, is the only way forward. Both paths feel right—and completely wrong—at different times and depending on which side you support. Weather out of fear of being ostracized if you are in the minority, or because you believe one side has a moral high ground over another. So how do we move toward peace? Do we protest? Do we fight? Do we stay silent? And how do we know what’s true when media, art, and storytelling themselves are weapons of war—shaping enemies, allies, and the very possibility of peace? On this show, we’ll ask the uncomfortable questions. Including: Who is profiting from this war? Who decides what we see and hear? And how are we here in the first place? What is the anatomy of the present war in the "holy Land"? And is peace actually possible in a world where the most sacred places are also the most scarred by violence? War leaves no winners, and innaction can often result in as many, if not more losses than war. But I have to believe, for my own family and peace, that maybe their is a real path to peace that begins with talking through the anger, the grief, the fear—AND the stories we’ve been told, the ones we've experienced, especially the ones that shaped us. Join me as we dive into the anatomy of war,to search for the truth hidden underneath the unseen twisted truths. Because the more we realize this is a family story, the more chance there is to unite as Grandparents, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, on behalf of ALL of our children. No sides, no enemies nor allies, family, unified in our effort to see a more peaceful world that would ultimately result in a more peaceful, more unified, more integrated and therefore free self, for generations to come.

We're taught at a young age to respect our elders. They'd stood the test of time, worked hard, learned from a lifetime of mistakes and victories, but what example has been set by our society as a whole as to how we treat them in day to day life? Why does there seem to be so little care? Why is said care so expensive? You can walk down the street in just about every major city and see many elderly citizens without homes, draped over park benches and huddled in alleyways. Many appear to suffering from mental illness just left to the elements as we walk past. Why? These people made it all this way just to end up like this? The People's Podcast, with the ears that will listen and where your opinion matters, we take a deep dive into the contributing factors that leave our longest living generations out in the streets yearning for comfort. Do you know that you are the light that can make the future bright? This episode of The People’s Podcast takes a hard look at “the lost and forgotten people”—those living without homes, often ignored by society and abandoned by a system that seems to want them broken. Too many are pushed toward drugs or trapped in cycles of addiction, because quick fixes are offered instead of lasting solutions. The system profits when people stay down, while their voices are silenced and their pain overlooked. Yet through the struggle, there is resilience. Homeless does not mean hopeless. These are human beings with stories, strength, and dreams, even if society has chosen not to see them. Join us as we shine a light on the truths no one wants to face, lifting up the voices of the lost and forgotten, and reminding the world that hope cannot be erased.
