Description

This podcast is about the many ideas in philosophy that are popularized by our society and culture through movies (Ex, Blade Runner, The Matrix), TV shows (Ex, Rick and Morty, Westworld), public figures, and books all around us.
Philosophy is everywhere and I'll be taking a deeper dive into those ideas presented to us in cultural and societal entertainment. In understanding those ideas, I don’t mean just understanding, instead, applying those understandings to our lives. Even if you disagree with various ideas in philosophy there’s always something to be learned from them and applied to your everyday life. This podcast will take you on the journey into the deeper ideas of philosophy while giving you just a touch of existential dread! Tune in.

Is Morality Objective?

Is Morality Objective?

2019-10-0300:29:10

This is essentially a post-debate solo discussion about morality. Is morality objective or subjective? I wanted to explain my points more here. However, I'm still not completely happy with how I presented it, so I'm open to your thoughts. I wanted to post it anyway because I think it has some value. As always thanks for listening. In today's episode, I address Capturing Christianity's (Cameron Bertuzzi) video about, who created God? I contemplate the question, who created the universe? And maybe a better question, does the universe even need a cause? Addressing some points made by the cosmological argument. Maybe something always existed. Check out the end of the podcast where I put forward a more abstract explanation.
