Yes we're back for Season Two of The Pitch Podcast, hosted by Jarrod Walsh! To kick-off the new season, recent signing Ben Warland is up first as he discusses his return to the Club after four-and-a-half years interstate with Sydney FC, the maturity he has gained from living away from home and becoming a father.
George Blackwood is our guest on episode 19 of The Pitch Podcast, joining Jarrod Walsh in a really deep, authentic and honest chat about life as a footballer. The 24-year-old opened up about dealing with adversity from injuries to criticism, the pressure he placed on himself early in his career and a change in mindset which has provided a new perspective and made him happier and more comfortable with himself, which as a result has benefited his football.

Born in Adelaide, Joe started playing rugby, then football as a striker on a remote island off the coast of New Zealand. He made one save in a football clinic and from that moment on, he found his calling as a goalkeeper. He also speaks about his career from juniors to NPL to the A-Leagues, injuries and sliding door moments, goalkeeper battles, and answers a range of fan questions.
