This one is a bit lively not much common ground. I think if there is another referendum it needs to be enshrined in law that it is binding for an agreed number of years.

the level of cognitive dissonance on display here shows Britain's real place in the world. Failure to recognise the hegemonic superpower on its borders and how to deal with it is completely absent.

I listened because she was one of the leading figures in the leave campaign ( and I had respected her before it) and lost respect for during the CAMPAIGN. I was and still am a big fan of the sensible politics under new Labour and she was a part of it. I don't agree with the abuse she has received and she was entitled to her view. She is not as bad as Kate Hoey and I was really hoping this interview would change my mind about her but it didn't. I don't agree with her campaigning so zealously with Johnson and Gove and I think the referendum has broken us irrevocably, the British union is threatened by it and she never really dealt with that in your interview. I think her sentiments have offered no hope in my lifetime and I am 47. Let's hope it will all be worth it in 50 years for our descendants.

What a superb edition 🏆, Anthony Scaramucci has certainly got the measure of his ex-boss. Perhaps they chose the wrong one as President? I really didn't want this episode of The Political Party to end; both host and guest were excellent!

I have just discovered this podcast, starting with the Laura Kuensberg edition. Having been driven away from live radio by the endless doom and gloom of Covid-19 coverage. This makes a refreshing and entertaining change . I look forward to listening to further editions 😷

Absolutely fantastic episode. Well done Matt 👍 Scaramucci was a fabulous guest. Could have listened to hours more of it 🙌
