Bilbrey and Callahan go over the meeting, specifically speaking about what happened and what DID NOT happen. Listeners might recall that Callahan has filed a serious complaint with the Election Board against Madison County Republican Party Chairman Russ Willis over serious concerns referencing how Willis has dealt with campaign finance reporting for his Political Action Committee. However, that complaint was not addressed at today's meeting, which seemed to have been thrown together at the last minute. Instead, the Board dealt with a few other issues of interest, and there is a lot to discuss about the outcome of the meeting and other noteworthy points. The Delaware County, Indiana Council met today (Tuesday morning, August 27th, 2024). While their agenda was full, all eyes and ears were set on the "Public Comment" section of the meeting. That is where several citizens planned to speak up and speak out about their dislike of the solar companies attempting to take over farmland throughout Delaware County! Several citizens spoke up and did a fantastic job expressing their feelings for the Councilors and everyone else who was or will be listening! The ball is now in the hands of the elected officials. WILL THEY DO THE RIGHT BY THE PEOPLE? TIME WILL TELL! Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey was present for the meeting this morning, and he, too, spoke to the Councilors. He explained his thoughts very simply, but it was clear they didn't like what Bilbrey had to say. After Bilbrey was done speaking, one of CowBoi-Kid Commissioner James King's lackeys (a PAID DEPARTMENT HEAD for the County Government) walked to the podium and told the Council that he thought they all do a "wonderful job" doing whatever it is that they do. But even better than that were the comments by Delaware County Councilor Matt Kantz. Councilor Kants stated that he "ADAMANTLY DISAGREES" with Bilbrey's assessment of the Council. He went on to talk about how they had all worked hard after the first couple of big screw-ups. He did what he does best: he made excuses for his actions or lack thereof and the actions of his fellow Councilors, or the lack thereof! Bilbrey breaks down every bit of the shit show and gives his excellent analysis of the ordeal! Before Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey gets into the HEAVY "BREAKING NEWS" of this episode, he quickly runs through some brief items of interest from the City of Muncie, Indiana. First, Bilbrey discusses a "run-in" with a "Dan'atic" over a post on the City of Muncie's Facebook page. He then talks about the idea of the "political mandate!" Next, he covers the quick Muncie Board of Works meeting from Wednesday, August 21st, 2024, and then he clarifies a question that he and others have had about some claims paid through the Board of Works during the last meeting on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024. And finally, he talks about the "groundbreaking" event that the Delaware County government held on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. The Communications Director of the City of Muncie posted about that event on the City's Facebook page; she then made the following comment: "...This facility, in conjunction with the Crisis Center in Muncie, will have a positive impact on those suffering from mental health crises and addiction." That is very interesting since neither the City nor the County has ever said one word about working together or "in conjunction." So, Bilbrey has been trying to pin the various officials down about this quote! This will be something to keep our eyes on. OK, NOW! We've got "BREAKING NEWS" that should be considered "BIG NEWS" STATE-WIDE... and it has come directly from the mouth of a State Representative (ON THE RECORD)! Grassroots-level citizen involvement is fantastic to watch! Host Kristopher H. Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey starts this episode with a quick story about his grandparents and their favorite hobby! You will not want to miss this story. From there, Bilbrey recaps the BREAKING NEWS from episode 261, the City of Muncie's "Security Breach." Sources are reporting that this "Security Breach" affects nearly 690 employees (including City of Muncie Police & Fire personnel, AFSCME employees, all 12 elected officials, any contractors/vendors for whom the City would have W2s, and the employees for the Muncie Sanitary District). The worst part is that this will start affecting Muncie's citizens because Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour hires and appoints the absolute worst of the bunch to make up his Administration. "City of Muncie HR Director Patricia Goddard did what!?" It's almost unbelievable! Tune in to hear about the Ridenour Administration's current mess! But whatever you do, don't buy into the "Ridenour-Noise" that he and his sycophants spout off about! Bilbrey wrapped the episode up with a quick discussion about the most recent City of Muncie, Board of Works meeting and it was a good thing he brought it up, because one of the listeners brought to his attention that something strange seems to be happening with some specific funding for various things for the Muncie Fire Department. This will be something Bilbrey will have to look into. And lastly, Bilbrey talks about the upcoming Muncie Redevelopment Commission meeting that he plans to attend.
