Thank you, Bishop Jakes, for your teaching today on the right way to deal with rage. As someone who is quite hot-headed at times, all I can do is surrender myself over to God more and more in order to let Him live, move and have His way through me. I don't get it right all the time, but the point is that I know my temper doesn't control me, only God gets to decide what does. All praise to God for His patient ways in persisting with perfecting what He started when He gave me life.

Thank you for your ministry today, Bishop Jakes. We are indeed better off when we are together, especially if we are of one mind, purpose and intention. The problems come if we surround ourselves with people who tell us all the reasons we CAN'T achieve our destiny, or why we'll NEVER get well. Our focus becomes removed from the infinite possibilities of a limitless God in our lifetime. Let us, therefore be sure to surround ourselves with champions of the faith as we begin to let go and really see what God can do through us.

I am not called to wear or even try on somebody else's anointing and this message reminds me that I am called to pursue God, find MY anointing and live in that instead. I am called to be recognisable as a Christ follower, yet be set apart from the world and it's pursuits.
