Bill, Jo, and Juliet continue the 'O.C.’ Hall of Fame tribute by immediately diving into their favorite scenes and overly dated nitpicks for the show’s second episode, "The Model Home." They quickly pivot to its iconic follow-up, "The Gamble," which ignites a discussion about the casino night phenomenon in pop culture and a debate on whether the series' overall plot was essentially a Seth- or Ryan-centric saga (10:28). After the break, they discuss how modern streaming shows would maximize the amount of dramatic content already presented at such an early point in the series and the complications of developing signature characters within a highly popular show with so many episodes (23:56). They end the pod by pondering why there aren’t more fish-out-of-water stories like ‘The O.C.’ being produced today and waxing nostalgic for network TV programming (33:11). Bill, I pray you see this. Charles and Vann have to go. Unlistenable!! I tried to listen to a few episodes about an amazing show “the Last of Us”, and I had to turn it off early 3 times. From Vann blathering on endlessly about the Super Bowl and Patrick Mahomes to Charles talking like he’s fucking Vanilla Ice, these 2 are ruining what should be one of your best podcasts! Please, show us some mercy and put these 2 clowns out of work. The world always needs more road flaggers!

love this podcast about Westworld. One improvement I'd suggest, replace the guy who never seems to get it, with someone who can add to the show. He's a downer....

I totally agree about Bob and Carol. I got more concerned about the dogs when he gets in the car. if anything happens to them, I'm out. The Old Man is truly a great show. thank you FX!
