NOT heavy. Adrian and his wife's best friend's husband had become pretty good friends, thanks to the closeness of their spouses. But when his purported 'friend' offers to 'fix' his wife's phone and takes a liiiiiittle too long doing so, Adrian gets slightly suspicious. Kelsey’s first pregnancy was going about as well as it possibly could. No major concerns or issues along the way… until it came time to actually deliver the baby. When Kelsey’s baby daughter began having difficulty entering the world the ‘normal’ way, her doctors decided a c-section was necessary. But these happen all the time, so it was no big deal— until they began operating, and Kelsey realized the anesthesia wasn’t working… AT ALL. Unlike most surgeries, during child birth you can’t just stop everything and try to figure out what’s wrong. The Private Record — Episode 023 — 'When 20 Cops Pull Their Guns On You For Stealing Your Own Car' When Ryan was young and dumb, he and his young and dumb guy friends were out on the town looking for the things young dumb guys out on the town are always looking for— girls and a good time. Unfortunately, before things even got going, Ryan's car got towed. But when Ryan and his young and dumb crew got to the tow yard, no one was there. Just a bunch of cars. All they could do was wait. Until one of Ryan's young and dumb pals (the designated driver for the night, no less!) decided to bust Ryan's car out of vehicle prison. Off they went, back onto the town looking for girls and good time. The next day Ryan woke up with a hangover and big fat dose of anxiety— was he in trouble? Wasn't that... illegal? What the hell were he and his friends thinking?! He waited for the cops to come calling— but they never did. At least, not the way Ryan expected. It took a few years, but eventually those cops DID come calling... and there were about two dozen of them... and they all had their guns pointed at Ryan's head. The Private Record — Episode 021 — "When You Are Robbed and Left For Dead" While staying with his family in Oklahoma for a brief spell, our guest Brandon was going to visit his friend in Arkansas a for a quick weekend camping trip. On the way there, he decided to make a stop in Fayetteville to get a little of that sticky icky green stuff for a little extra enjoyment. (This was in 2017– well before it was legal in most states.) When Brandon finally found someone who said she had a connection who could hook him, he was stoked. Unfortunately, her connection had other ideas— which included a concrete slab to Brandon’s skull, and a steel toe boot to Brandon’s face (15+ times). Robbed and left for dead, Brandon somehow survived. And THIS is when Brandon’s story REALLY gets wild.
