Cry. Let it out. Sadness is a legit feeling. But don’t wallow in it too long. It’s okay to grieve and go through negative emotion from time to time. But you gotta know when to be too lazy to give into the negativity. Full Blog: https://web.archive.org/web/20220701224937/http://www.procrastin8r.com/blog/sad
Time can be very limiting in determining what we actually do because it’s a limited resource. Of course, you get to decide what to do with that time. Hint: procrastinate with purpose. It can be easy to get caught up in doing what we feel we “have to” do, instead of what we actually want to do. But don’t let the work hard mantra get in the way of procrastinating and doing what you really want to do. There’s always two sides to every coin - the yin and the yan. Society paints such an evil picture of what being lazy is about while ignoring the great benefits that laziness has to offer. To be lazy is to be relaxed in the face of whatever life throws at you. To be lazy is to to remain unfazed in drama or stress, able to cope well with it. To be lazy is to be free and do what you want when you want. To be lazy is to be efficient, finding the best way to do things while using the least amount of resources. May the force be with you.
Let your money do the work for you. It isn’t really hard to set up an investment account and the benefit of a passive income isn’t something to write off as nothing. The riches people in the world are nothing but lazy investors, who happen to put their money in the right place. Now you’re probably not going to rhea that level, but hey, a little bit goes a long way. Earn more money bit by bit, without even thinking about it - that’s the lazy way, Full Blog: https://web.archive.org/web/20220701231406/http://www.procrastin8r.com/blog/investing
The fact of the matter is you are always procrastinating something. You put off one thing in order to do another. It’s just the way things work. Procrastination at its core is not such a bad thing, contrary to popular belief. But it does depend on what you actually procrastinate on. That said, putting off work ‘til later isn’t necessarily such a bane either. In fact, even the Lord himself tends to be a procrastinator. There’s this idea that in order to amount to be anyone, you have to have a plethora of fame and fortune to your name, Look, you don’t have to be the star of the show, or even wealthy for that matter. It’s okay to be the average Joe and do just enough to get by. Face it, we can’t all be the exception. As a matter of fact, most of us are going to just be plain old Jane and that is absolutely okay. This whole notion that you need to be a big success to be a worthy person is all hog wash. Full Blog: https://web.archive.org/web/20220701234036/http://www.procrastin8r.com/blog/notahero
The crypto and stock markets crashed hard. Brr! Such a cold winter. But don’t let a bit of a market tundra get you down. Ride the roller coaster and practice patience, the heart of procrastination. Relax, it’s only a crisis if you make it out to be. Besides, it’ll go up eventually anyway. It always has and always will. Maybe not right away, but it doesn’t need to. Sometimes things just fall. Learn to take it in stride and don’t work yourself up too much about it. Full Blog: https://web.archive.org/web/20220701234036/http://www.procrastin8r.com/blog/crash
Don’t overstress yourself by pushing too far too soon. Take a step back before reacting to things; otherwise, you’ll end up making some bad moves Feeling at rest puts you in a state of mind that leads you equipped to handle stress more easily and handle tough decisions more smoothly. The holidays allow us to embrace our inner sloth and do what we want, when we want to. The way things should be year round. The whole reason people are in holly jolly spirits during the holidays is because they actually get a chance to relax and be lazy. It’s solid proof that laziness is the main ingredient missing in a better functioning society. Full blog: https://web.archive.org/web/20220701220708/http://www.procrastin8r.com/blog/homeholidays
Even greedy corporate companies let their workers have the day off. It’s almost like a fantasy world we live in for 24 hours, where the work hard mantra is completely ignored. Stop playing video games. They said. get a real job. They said. I've tried so many online money making methods in the past I've taken surveys on mTUrk. I freelanced audio production and voice work gigs on Fiver and E-lance. I've even taught kids in China on VIPKid. But nothing comes close to the profit I'm making with NFT games. I mean let me tell you a secret: I'm making more income playing games in a SINGLE DAY than any of these other online money-making methods, yet alone a "real job" had me earning in a full WEEK. Guys I am 100% serious when I talk about this. But NFTs are changing the gaming industry as we know it! With NFTs and the Blockchain technology, we're able to effectively verify that YOU own an item that you won from a game. It's not something your in-game avatar wears or holds. It's something you legitimately own. And just like anything you own in real life, like a book, instrument, furniture, whatever, you can buy, sell, and trade it on the market. It's no longer just "pixels" on a screen. It can now be traded for real fiat, real currency, through the use of the blockchain and crypto coins. The MetaVerse is building and we're blurring the lines between actual reality and virtual reality. This is just the beginning, fellow procrastin8rs. You can sit at home and PLAY A GAME to earn a real asset then sell that asset for money. Are you understanding me? Please tell me you follow. Okay, let me break this down for you, real simple: This is the lazy opportunity we've been waiting for! You can make money sitting on the couch playing video games. No need to grow an audience or following. No need to look pretty for the camera as you stream. No need to set up sponsors or affiliate links. You literally...just. play the game. Now I'm gonna be covering in-depth reviews/guides in the on coming weeks about some profitable NFT games I've been playing recently. Last week, you heard of BombCrypto and this time I want to introduce to you a little Play to Earn NFT game called Heroes and Empires. It's a medieval fantasy themed idle game. Even if you aren't much a gamer, it's very easy/semi-passive income. Just click a few buttons each day to do quests and battles. It's auto battle, so no actual skill or reflexes required. If you can browser a website, you can play this game! Well fellow ProcrastiN8r, the future of the MetaVerse is here. You heard good ole Zuck talk about. It's this idea of intertwining the virtual world with the physical one. He's talking about owning "virtual" property, which is already possible in games like Decentraland and Upland. This is done through the use of the blockchain to create NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. Think of NFTs as a unique item, like a shiny Charizard Pokemon card or a signed copy of Stephen King's It or the original painting of the Mona Lisa. It's not very easily replaceable and hard to find. Now in the real world, holding these items under your physical possession kind of proves your ownership of them, but in the virtual world, we need to verify data in order to prove your ownership. Sound familiar? Remember we talked about crypto/Bitcoin and how it uses this Blockchain technology to verify the fact that you own that cryptocurrency? Well, the same technology is now being applied to Non-Fungible tokens, unique items like pieces of art and of course, in-game items. No longer is that sword or pony just something you get in the game, it's something you VERIFIABLY OWN. Bitcoin itself is "fungible". One Bitcoin is exactly the same as any other Bitcoin in existence. Just like One dollar bill is the same as any other dollar bill. But now we can create non-fungible items that have uniqueness. That's the key word. Non-fungible means uniqueness. And this idea of owning items in the digital space is beginning to make waves. Already, collection toy companies like Funko Pop are offering NFTs in addition to the purchase of a real physical toy. These NFTs can then be traded on a digital market. Cities across the world are planning to implement NFTs in their future building plans. And this only the beginning. We're going to see the digital and physical world blur together more and more. With gaming already encouraging players to collect loot and unlock characters with no other incentive than bragging rights, having NFTs in game is going to shift the entire industry. No longer are you wasting hours into grinding levels or collecting resources in a game like Runescape. No longer are you fighting a boss over and over in hopes to get that one rare drop just so you can brag to your buddies or win some PVP. NFTs turns your game time into valuable time. That rare amulet you found in the chest? Yeah, that's yours now, not your game character's amulet. YOURS. You own it! Now fair warning, there is typically an upfront cost to get started with NFT games, and that may be a bit of a turn off for some of you. But honestly with new games running over $60 now and over a hundred for the "deluxe" editions, plus the system or PC you gotta buy to even play the game in the first place, even if you're not gaming with NFTs, there's still a price to pay up front. Thing is with traditional gaming, you don't earn anything back, but with NFT, you can actually profit off your game time. Like, you're going to be playing games just for fun or achievement sake, you might as well get paid for your time. I'm serious this is one of the biggest opportunities to make a living being lazy. You can literally lay on the couch and play video games all day and get paid to do so. No need to stream or build a following. No need to get sponsors or dabble around with affiliate marketing. No creating content on blog, videos, or podcasts. Literally just playin the game. Now I'm not a financial advisor. I don't have any sort of experience or authority to help you make decisions with your money. That's on you. Do your own research. I'm just a lazy dude with an opinion. Anyway, in the oncoming weeks, I'll be sharing with you some NFT games I'm finding to be rather profitable and today we're going to start with one called BombCrypto. Go ahead and waste your time man. Ya know, we're constantly, and I mean constantly, moving on from one obligation to the next. We strive to make every single minute in our lives absolutely 100% productive...or at the very least we're certainly pressured to do so. Any down time, time to relax, or otherwise Leisure (the big "L" in L.A.Z.Y) time is seen as such a "waste" in this hard-working, achievement-oriented society. What are you doing, you lazy bum, sittin around doin' nothin'? Get your ass up and get back to work! Somehow your entire worth as a human being isn't tied to who you are but what you can do and what you can provide. Even hobbies and recreational activities aren't something we necessarily spend time on to simply enjoy ourselves, but to get better, become more skilled, gain more knowledge, develop better techniques. Heck, even vacation becomes following a freaking itinerary instead of taking the time to, what's that word again? RELAX! We book our vacation up with a plethora of activities and wind up coming back a week or so later feeling exhausted and in need of, get this, another vacation! Wasting time has a such a bad stigma in our gun-ho productive society. But there's more to life than just achievement. There's more to life than just goal-getting. I mean, how enjoyable can life be if you're constantly fatigued all the time? If you're constantly feeling drained mentally, emotionally, and physically, how can you ever be happy? There's something we lose when we transition from childhood to adulthood and it's this idea of playing for fun instead of playing to win. Being lazy, at least once in a while has its merits. Take time to ease on up and be fully and completely at rest. Do things to have fun or even for the sake of kicking your feet up just to savor the moment. Live a life of desire, not obligation. Abide and do your own thing. Whether that's bowling, playing video games, or just lying on the couch not really doing anything, don't feel like that's any sort of "wasted" time. While time is indeed limited, you can do with it what you want. Life is about what you manage to experience and enjoy, not what you manage to accomplish. Remember that. Winter is coming Yup, that means it's time to hibernate. Stay in the warm indoors and sip hot coacoa. I hate the cold. And the only thing I hate more than the cold weather is the cold hearts of scammers. 'Tis the season for scammers to come. In the next coming months, we're gonna see a slew of websites, apps, EFTS, alt coins, and other programs that are designed to steal from your wallet (and your clock), taking your time and hard earned cash. Last week, I went over how to spot red flags on these scam sites and apps and one of the reasons I did that is because well...winter is coming. One of the biggest mainstream scams is of course Black Friday. I'll tell you what about Black Friday, there's more hype about the deals than the deals are actually worth. People will get excited about anything. Go run in a store and scream excitedly about how adult diapers are so super cheap! Guarantee you a mob will run over to grab that deal. People just get in a mode of "getting a good deal" that they shoot out any sort of rationality or logic, like rationally, the deals are no better than the normal discounts that stores offer throughout the year. But on top of these over-hyped sales at big retailers like Amazon, Wal-Mart, and Best Buy, you're also going to see these investment gimmicks and "innovative" start ups seemingly appear out of no where, like a magical snowman from a hat. Do your research. Look at who's behind the project, what experience do they have, what successful other projects have they been a part of, before shelling out your dough. I mean it. People are desperate now to get any sort of extra holiday spending money, so a lot of these new tokens you see on the Ethereum network or pennystock IPOs are going to be complete trash. The other snowfall of winter happens in the markets as a whole. Prepare for the stock and crypto market to slide down that hill in a one horse open sleigh. Around this time of year, there's usually a dip in share and coin prices. But don't panic. Don't worry. it happens. It'll recover around spring time again. I always see it as the "real" Black Friday sale, like "Yay crypto is on sale! Dividends are on sale!" Worst you can do is invest with your emotions. Invest with your money instead. Don't follow the hype train of selling shares (and coins) in order to buy deals of shit you don't even really want to buy anyway. Just relax man, and let your money hibernate. Do the lazy thing. Stay safe this season. Stay warm. Oh and stay classy too. Read the Full Transcript/Blog: http://www.procrastin8r.com/blog/winter Subscribe to the Newsletter: http://www.procrastin8r.com/subscribe
It wouldn't be the Internet without scammers, would it? I mean it's like walking into a Harley shop and seeing people with tattoos and leather jackets. Shit just goes hand and hand. And believe me, I've been online money-making for nearly a decade now. It's now my full-time income and over the years and through my experience, I've certainly seen my fair share of scams. Admittedly, I fell for a bunch of them when I was an online money-making noob. Of course, I found several LEGIT ways to make money online along the way, which is how I've managed to quit my day job and work from home. I'm not rich by any means. But I make a decent enough income sittin' in front of my computer, essentially. It's not all a scam, though with the amount of shit out there,** it's easy to conclude "making money online is a scam". That's not 100% correct, buuut I mean, it's not 100% wrong either.** Look, there ARE a LOT of scams out there. Sites and apps that will waste your precious time or steal away your hard earned money. But I want to save you from wasting your time or throwing away your money to these god awful scammers. I want to hep you be lazy and not have to put in the effort of trying to make money online, only to earn absolutely nothing in the end. See man, I've been there. I spent hours doing surveys or downloading games for these apps that...let's just say...turned out to be a complete and utter hoax. I mean I don't know about you, but I HATE wasting my goddamn time. Like, IF, big IF I AM actually going to do something....well then I want it to be worth the actual freaking effort. I don't want to do all these tasks just to get no compensation in return. So, I want to give you a list of red flags I wish I had when I started making money online. Hopefully it'll help you know what to look out for so you don't wind up spending a lot of your own time TRYING to earn money on the couch and instead ACTUALLY earn money from the couch. "The lesser of the two evils" That's who you voted for on Election Day, isn't it? Man, that sucks. I mean, I don't want to vote for ANY evil, at any level, EVER. I'm completely fine with NO EVIL. How bout that? You like that? Think about it, Dude, how corrupt does a system have to be for the general consensus to be "well, I just voted for the lesser of the two evils."? Excuse me but....WHAT!? How is that acceptable? What kind of Underdark society are we living in where we're choosing between Evil A and Evil B. Like how about a solid NO. The two party system is outdated. The tribal war needs to stop. We need real conversations with real people. We need to sit back, relax, and listen to one another. We need REAL PEOPLE to make policy, not fake politicians. Listen to each other. Not listen to the puppets of these figure heads backed by corporate lobbyists who are paying their way to put in policies that further their agenda towards profits or the media who only serves as an ad funnel for the same corporate bastards Jeez, I'm starting to sound like a political commenter here. I really don't want to go down that route. I just wanted to share my thoughts and feelings about the election process in general in today's blog. The focus here will of course be on the Lazy Mindset and how it's important to be lazy as your civic duty to your country.
