I have some questions you might want to jot down… Let's check in..  Is the title of your show searchable?  For instance, this show.. The Profitable Podcaster… I include the tagline in the show title.. So it’s listed as The Profitable Podcaster, how to make money podcasting.  That 2nd part os super searchable! Who is your target audience / you listeners?  Think about what they would be searching for when writing your description, Titles and show notes. So my other show is a self-help podcast for women.  The full title is The Goddess Way of Living, mindfulness, meditation and the law of attraction for women.  Once again, I have my tagline right in my title, as if it was just The Goddess Way of Living I wouldn't be so searchable and so findable. Honestly knowing what I know now- the title should or could be changed to something that’s more SEO but- it is what it is right now, and you know my continuous mantra, Progress over Perfection.  I have listeners and clients, I don’t want to change it now :) There may be a time I come in and rebrand, but that time isn’t now as I have a lot of other wheels in motion.  So your homework this week- get super clear on who your ideal listener is and consider how to improve your SEO in your titles and show descriptions.  If you are left with wanting more please consider working one on one.. I have limited coaching calls available as I juggle a lot… but I’m super excited to hello you succeed!  Just shoot me an email: CristinPowersLifeCoach@gmail.com and put in the subject line: Podcast Coaching.

I record in a garage band only because that was the easiest way for me to start 2 years ago and easiest way for me to airdrop files to my husband to edit for me, now there are even similar & easier programs like Descript and another is called Riverside.  Time to take action, write and record your trailer or 1st episode, title it, and create podcast cover art.  To publish your Podcast I use Spotify for Podcasters only because I find it very approachable and easy.   Remember you’re taking action, so I’m going to say it again progress not perfection, You're going to learn, change and evolve every episode forward. Just start and then keep going.I want to keep these episodes short and approachable with an inspired action list, AKA your homework.  So if you do not have a podcast yet.. This is your homework1. Decide on a name 2. Make sure that name is available 3. See if the website is available and grab it as well (I use Go daddy) 4. Start designing your cover art, I use canva.. But if you are not an artist and nee to hire someone, maybe just start with canva so you have some ideas and concepts in mind, or look at the podcasts you love to see how they are designed and save your top 3 favorites.  5.
