Because of listening to this I've managed to convince my type 2 diabetic husband that the best thing to reverse it is to lose weight, he's determined to lose up to 15 kg if needed to make this happen!
Although I'm not seventh day Adventist myself, i changed my diet drastically in 2018 because of SDA and will never look back. A 6 week CHIP course with health tests befor/aftef, intensive fact based nutrition docos/discussions, cooking tips & demos totally did it for me. After about 14 days of awful caffeine withdrawal & 6 weeks of no meat, dairy and sugar i realised I'd never felt better in my life and will always be grateful for the SDA, thank you for this excellent podcast.
fascinating
Although I'm not quite always going with the opinion of Dr Gunter, it's a good episode and it's important to spread more education about women's health. But as many episodes: it's a little too long. I would appreciate to keep conversations to the most important things or brake it into 2 episodes.
interesting episode but a bit too long for my taste, could be sized down with all the important informations 🙃
I'm actually quite happy to start hearing ads in your shows. You do so much for people's health and I'm glad your finally getting paid for it.
Wow what an incredibly insightful and educational podcast thank you!
This podcast is amazing! Informative and easy to listen to!
I have listened to your podcasts, been influenced and changed my diet. I lost 8% bodyweight as a consequence and am now at 14% bodyfat. thanks. it seems most of your output is on proplant compared to meat. I would love to know more about seafood, crab prawn and fish to Find data on risk of heavy metal and PCB. is there a recommended source / portion intake or is it just a gamble. many thanks
What an amazing informative interview! thank you so much!
best podcast I've heard in ages. hope she comes back soon. as a reducing meat eater the more science over morality I hear on this subject, the more compelled I am to try( yet again) to change.........if only I had a chef.
Awesome podcast! If you are diabetic or pre-diabetic this is the episode for you. If you are non diabetic - ignore this podcast at your peril. P.s this is a two parter. Second episode discusses Keto Plant Based...and the issues that causes down the road... For more visit B2B101 (Back to Basics Health) Facebook group:- https://m.facebook.com/groups/553235201434948/
Babies get their teeth at a certain age.. when this happens the enzymes to break down food are there.. This is when they should start to eat food. not before. True? Sounds like a no brainer
I can't believe the opportunity to explain the significance of global average temperature rise was missed and instead related to a rise in body temperature 🙈
bring on the science of food. I like your stance on non preachy vegetarian values and education. one of the few non meat podcasts I can listen to and learn/enjoy. thanks.
Excellent infornation. Highly recommend for everyone to listen to.
This is usually a great podcast but this episode missed the mark. The guest for the most part is on point but the non fact based gluten "information" should have been called out. Calling out science was also quite a dumb thing to say. There are "studies" backed by corporations that have agendas. But saying science shouldn't be taken as gospel made almost the whole podcast not worth listening to. Sorry Simon. Your podcast is amazing, I absolutely love it, but this guest was a non fact based , very opinionated, hysterical anti gluten, anti science conspiracy theorist. Other than this episode all the others have been absolutely amazing.

thanks Simon. love the work you're doing with these podcasts. Can I ask which table you were looking at for Ldl and %risk you mentioned in this episode I.e. 150 ldl is around 60% probability for artery plaques? There are hundreds of pages in these links and I've not yet found it. Thank you!
