Bringing it back to a classic episode with Andrew bromfield the tech guru! The best part about what Andrew always says is that you don't need as much technology experience as you may think. Even being in tech myself and early in my career I would even go as far to say you can use other experiences to make you even more valuable than you know. Michael “Mike D” De Los Santos, discovered his love for BBQ at a young age on a family trip to North Carolina at a small restaurant. He eventually worked on a food truck where BBQ was served and he became the preferred cook of customers because of his talent and creativity. His appreciation and curiosity outlasted his career in the kitchen and fueled his journey in search of the perfect BBQ products. Fast forward to today he now makes some of the best tasting BBQ Sauces you'll ever find! Mike is a grinder and I love his willingness to get the job done no matter what the odds may be.

This is an oldy but a goodie. I would like to throw it back to one of most notable episodes with Aisha Addo. She is an absolute machine!!! Aisha was born in Ghana and made her way over to Canada at a very young age. Aisha always had the confidence and ability to strive to do great things, but she never imagined she would be owning her own Drive sharing app and run her own non-for-profit organization called Power to Girls. Joe Hollier Co-Founder of the Light Phone built a phone that can only make phone calls, play music, play podcasts, has a calculator and can make phone calls. Sounds crazy right? Well personally I don't think so. If we look at our cellphones today their original intend use is now non existent and the sole focus is to grab as much attention from the user as possible. To the point where we now have people spending 8+ hours on their phone a day on average!!! I think what Joe and the rest of his team is doing is extremely groundbreaking. Kofi Frempong is a long time artist based in Toronto and he's probably the best painter I have personally seen with my own two eyes. Now as funny as the title of this book may sound it actually makes a lot of sense, because they were targeting a specific demographic. The youth!
