Rachel Dempster (RE/MAX City Realty in Gibsons, B.C.), originally hailing from England, has lived in Canada for more than two decades and has become an expert on the Sunshine Coast real estate market. Leveraging her marketing background, Rachel has built a solid foundation of high-quality written and video content to solidify herself as a local market expert. When she’s not busy helping clients, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, six horses, three dogs and two cats.
Tim Hill (RE/MAX All Points Realty, New Westminster, BC) began his real estate career in 2008 and joined RE/MAX in 2013. Tim has been a Chairman’s Club producing agent every year since 2017, and in 2020 he earned his RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award.  Beyond real estate success, Tim gives back to several charitable causes and is one of our Young Leaders Network Ambassadors for the Lower Mainland.
Derek Thorvaldson is a Director with RE/MAX of Western Canada. Prior to joining the regional office, Derek was manager of RE/MAX Real Estate Inc. (now known as RE/MAX Professionals) in Winnipeg, MB. He was president of the Winnipeg Real Estate Board in 1993, and president of the Manitoba Real Estate Association in 1998. In 2001, Derek joined RE/MAX of Western Canada to help support franchise owners and managers throughout the region.
Katie Lance (CEO and Founder of Katie Lance Consulting) has more than two decades of experience in the marketing and branding world. Katie was previously chief strategist and social media director for Inman News. During that time she increased Inman’s social footprint from 7,000 fans and followers to more than 250,000. In 2012, Katie took the entrepreneurial step to launch Katie Lance Consulting, where she helps those in the real estate industry understand how they can use social media to build relationships and help their business. Katie has also been named one of the 100 most influential people in real estate by Inman News, and is a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post.
Tanya Eklund (RE/MAX Real Estate (Central), Calgary, AB) is one of Calgary's top performing real estate agents for luxury and inner-city properties. Since 2015, Tanya has sold over $424,000,000 in sales volume and, in 2020, she received the RE/MAX Luminary of Distinction career award. As a dedicated member of her community, Tanya is a proud champion of several philanthropic causes including Woods Homes and the SSUBI Foundation.
Thea Hanson (RE/MAX All Pro Realty, Trail, B.C.) has been with RE/MAX since 2008 and, in recent years, she has added to her resume by becoming one of the charter ambassadors of the RE/MAX Young Leaders Network, hitting Platinum Club in 2020 and earning the Spirit of the West award at our recent RE/MAX of Western Canada 2021 Awards Celebration. Outside of real estate, Thea is dedicated to giving back to the community and supports a multitude of volunteer groups and charities.
Taleen Mirzayan (RE/MAX Professionals Inc., Toronto, ON) has been in the real estate industry for nearly a decade. Recently, she has embraced a brand new social media networking app called "Clubhouse," which has the feel of a 24/7 digital conference. Despite the fact this platform is currently only available on Apple devices, Taleen thinks it’s a game-changer, and on this episode, she talks about how she has leveraged the Clubhouse app and how other agents can do the same.
Keir McIntyre (RE/MAX Professionals in St. Albert, AB) is a second-generation REALTOR® who was born and raised in St. Albert. The 39-year-old joined the real estate industry in 2006, and has quickly established himself as a top producer. Keir was previously with Sarasota Realty, but made the switch to RE/MAX in January 2021. Aside from real estate, Keir is a proud husband, father and an active volunteer with the St. Albert Progress Club and St. Albert Minor Hockey Association.
Jay Herrick (RE/MAX Elite in Edmonton, and RE/MAX Camosun in Victoria) was named the 2019 REALTOR® of the year by The REALTORS® Association of Edmonton for his respect, involvement and ongoing contribution to the Association, industry and community. Jay has also been awarded the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award. In between working with clients, Jay spends time advocating for fellow REALTORS® at the local, provincial and federal levels.
In late 2018, Gina Lorenzo (broker at RE/MAX Executive in Charlotte, North Carolina), created a video titled “Why I moved my company to RE/MAX and not EXP Realty.” In the video, Gina announced that her company, Your Property People, had merged with RE/MAX Executive. A year later, Gina posted a reflection video explaining why her decision was the correct one. Beyond being the broker-in-charge at RE/MAX Executive, she is also part of a Diamond Club Team, and has already earned the Hall of Fame Career Award with RE/MAX. When she’s not busy with real estate, Gina and her husband enjoy life on their 5-acre hobby farm with their mini donkeys, babydoll sheep, variety of chickens and six children.
Elizabeth McQueen (RE/MAX Crest Realty, Vancouver, BC) specializes in luxury properties and has proven to be an excellent negotiator and advocate for her clients over the past three decades, consistently keeping her in the top 5% of REALTORS at the Vancouver Real Estate Board. Elizabeth’s tight global connections have allowed her to power through the often-complex transactions that result from seven or even eight figure real estate deals. Recently, she sold a $23 Million property in Vancouver known as Redwood Estate, and she did so in 16 days.

Amber Treichel (RE/MAX Performance Realty, Winnipeg, MB) joined the real estate industry in late 2016. By 2018, Amber was a 100% Club Award recipient, and she is on pace to be a Platinum Club Award recipient in 2020. She is also one of RE/MAX of Western Canada's Young Leaders Network Ambassadors, representing Manitoba. When she’s not busy helping clients, you’ll find Amber on a football field, surrounded by family, cheering her boys on as they do what they love.
Sara Kalke (RE/MAX Real Estate (Edmonton)) is a born-and-raised Edmontonian who started in real estate as a front desk receptionist and has since become one of the highest-producing RE/MAX Sales Associates in Western Canada. In 2017, 2018 and 2019, Sara was a Titan Club Award recipient, and she received her Lifetime Achievement career award in 2017. Sara is also the creator and host of “The Badass Women of Real Estate Podcast,” which can be found on all your major podcast apps.
Harry Mack is one of the world’s greatest freestyle rappers. Harry — who is based in Los Angeles, California — has been rapping since the age of 12, but his awareness has grown exponentially over the past 3 years thanks to his interactive and quick-thinking approach. He has impressed Macklemore and Kendrick Lamar with his freestyling talents on Power 106 Los Angeles, and has even performed on The Ellen Show. Harry constantly strives to push the boundaries of his own abilities, while innovating freestyle rap in the digital age.
Deborah Upton is CEO and Partner of RE/MAX Crest in Vancouver. Deb represents approximately 500 Sales Associates across seven offices in Metro Vancouver. With nearly four decades in the real estate industry, Deb has dedicated her career to the serving of others in their quest to be the best they can be. Deb splits her time working from three different locations: Vancouver, Hawaii and Ireland. 
Felix Robitaille (RE/MAX Action Realty, Whitehorse, Yukon) was born in the small Quebec town of Sainte Adele before moving to Whitehorse at the age of 10. His sales experience started by selling electronics after graduating high school, then evolved into car sales a few years later. In 2016, Felix made the move into a real estate career and has quickly found incredible success; in fact, as of July 2020 YTD, he was #8 on the RE/MAX of Western Canada Top 100 list. In his spare time, Felix enjoys snowmobiling, fishing and spending time with his family.
Shandrie Lewis is the broker/owner of RE/MAX Professionals in St. Albert, Alberta. Shandrie earned her real estate license at the age of 19 and has been with RE/MAX since 2006. In 2018, she became the youngest female broker/owner in the RE/MAX of Western Canada system. When she’s away from the office, Shandrie enjoys keeping active at the gym and spending time with her two daughters.
Elaine Langhout is the Director of Regional Advertising with RE/MAX of Western Canada. She began her advertising career in the mid 1980s as Ad Director for Super Channel in Edmonton. In 1992, she joined the RE/MAX of Western Canada regional office and currently oversees all advertising, communications and PR efforts. Elaine is incredibly passionate about promoting the RE/MAX brand. When she’s away from the office, she enjoys listening to country music and cheering for the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks.
