The Volunteer Fast Track is a series of three info packed sessions designed for our fellow AARP volunteers to hit the ground running as soon as you become volunteers. It is also for existing AARP volunteers who want to catch up on all the latest and brush up on all your options as volunteers. There is so much great info in these sessions, we suggest all volunteers take them. They are fun and engaging as well. The CAMPUS and MASTERCLASS are designed to take advantage of the virtual space. It is ongoing and current. We bring you the most popular, advanced volunteer trainings from other AARP volunteer leaders and staff across the nation. This ability to share with each other is fabulous!

We discuss what's new with the census, why the census is so important, and how we can help ensure everyone has the opportunity to be counted.  Whether you are a staffer or a volunteer, you can help raise awareness in your community.   Find more resources at aarp.org/census   Every household will have the option of responding online, by mail, or by phone.   Nearly every household will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census from either a postal worker or a census worker.   Beware of Census Scams: Don’t trust caller ID — scammers can use “spoofing” tools to make it appear they are calling from a real Census Bureau number. Call the National Processing Center at 800-523-3205, 800-642-0469 or 800-877-8339 (TDD/TTY) to verify that a phone survey is legitimate.
