She spoke about her book, Love Is More Contagious, which she wrote published independently with her sister who provided the beautiful illustrators for the books. We spoke about the importance of representation of seeing "real people" in picture books, and how that can impact young children, especially those who are from the Asian American communities like ours. She talked about future book projects and how she hopes her works will impact the world, and put Asians more on the map in picture books!
