There are many modern idols today misleading and guiding people in their day to day normal lives right into destruction. Most don’t even realize what idols are and how to break free from them. God speaks about idolatry in 41 verses and idols in 23 verses so that tells you he was getting an important message across. If you focus on something MORE than God or are consistently saying, I don’t have time to read the Bible or for God in my life, then more than likely you have an idol or idols in your life that consume you and it goes deeper.
