We are now getting into the doctrine of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, which is part of our study on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit. We desperately need the power of Pentecost in the true church throughout our nation and world. This lesson will help you understand the sound Biblical teaching on this truth.
Continuing in our study on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit we have returned to the subject of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We will see how a spiritual hunger after God is an integral part of receiving the wonderful gift of the Spirit baptism.
Isaiah 61, verse 4 is the focus of this lesson. It's short and sweet and to the point on our need to have compassion for those who don't know Christ.
Isaiah chapter 61, verse 3 is the focus of this lesson. This is a message I preached on the Spirit of the Sovereign Lord and it fits perfectly with our series on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit.
We will begin looking at the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and see how the Word of God teaches this wonderful truth.
In this lesson on the person and work of the Holy Spirit we will examine the tremendous need for youth pastors and young adult leaders to be full of the Holy Spirit. The desperate need of the hour is to raise up teens and young adults to be on fire for Jesus, so that they can be the next generation of movers and shakers our church and world needs.
What does a Spirit-filled ministry look like? The Bible clearly tells us and this lesson will help you understand this extremely important subject.
The two primary topics we will study in this lesson is our need for Holy Spirit power to build Christ's Church and to offer to God worship that's worthy of who He is. This lesson will inspire you.
The Holy Spirit manifests Himself through divine power by working in and through Christ’s true disciples. There are three ways this power is manifested. First, it is through the Spirit's sanctifying power that helps the saints to be Christlike in character. Second, His power is revealed through true believers to win the lost to Christ, and this is the focus of this lesson. And third, you will have to wait until the next lesson to learn this one.
In this lesson we will examine two works of the Holy Spirit. The first is that the Holy Spirit is referred to as Living Water, and the second is that the Spirit gives to believers power in various ways that will glorify Christ.
Though we will continue studying what it means that the Holy Spirit testifies, or bears witness, we will also study how the Spirit seals those who belong to Jesus. Finally, we will examine what it means that the Holy Spirit is our Advocate. There are some wonderful truths that we will be digging into in this lesson, so don't miss it.
The assurance of salvation, which is a work of the Holy Spirit, is the primary topic of today's lesson. This is truth is not only encouraging, but necessary for our spiritual growth. So, don't miss it.
Paul told us in Ephesians to put off our sinful nature with its practices and to put on a Christlike character. This can only be done through the power of the Holy Spirit. This is a message you don't want to miss.
We are continuing to study what it means to walk in the Spirit. We will see how the unity of the saints is one evidence that believers are walking in the Spirit. The final point in this lesson is that the Holy Spirit is our Helper. There's some really good stuff in this episode.
