The Spice Girls were a massive worldwide phenomenon back in the 1990s. They had everything the salivating youth could have ever asked for in an all female pop group. Their first huge hit was a song called Wannabe and in this video we go over the lyrics of the song and the video to see if it still holds up by today's standards.

I always found the lyrics to the song All That She Wants from Ace of Bass to be a little weird and looking back I'm not so sure about that song. Ace of Base had plenty of other hits, but let's take a look at the lyrics of this song and try to get a fix on what was going on with this 1990s hit.

On my 1990s rant, I am finally starting to chat about bands and music, so I am starting off with a big one, Nirvana and the Song Smells Like Teen Spirit.
This song was the anthem for the 90s and the trend set the tone for nearly the rest of the decade.
The fashions followed these bands and people everywhere connected with the deep lyrics and the rough and gritty rock sound. The angst of the 1990s was definitely real and alive in this music.
I talk about some of the facts on how Nirvana got started and how it ended.
And we also touch on the lyrics on Smells Like Teen Spirit.

I thought I'd keep the crazy 90s train rolling with my favorite game from the 1990s Street Fighter 2 The World Warrior.
I used to play this game as a kid and there is something so special about it.
The sprites, the music, the CPU Cheating in various ways... Anyone who was a kid in the 1990s probably has some memory of this game so I figured it would be a good bite sized place to start.
