There’s a lot of conversation going on around it about it being a “ good or bad” time to invest hence we could be headed into another economic depression due to COVID-19. We see store hours being reduced and non- essential businesses closing down, some even for good. These changes we’re seeing has caused the stock exchange to be at an all time low which is never good, but is their a silver lining in this is if things go back to normal for us? Stock share prices are low which means they’re affordable, how would it feel to own a piece of the world’s largest travel company? Currently, you can buy a share of American Airlines for $10.87. Why not buy 5 shares, spend $54 bucks and invest for your future? You’ve probably spent that on food, clothes, Uber or other miscellaneous things and have never seen that money again. We don’t know what will happen in the next 6 months, but if things happen to resume back to normal, people start traveling, and shopping again, that means you could double or maybe tripled your investment. Listen to me and Pre, owner and creator or Melanin Voyage, entrepreneur, and 7 year trader talk stocks, trading & investing in a crisis. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/trdbizpod/support
Most times doing a big chop isn't optional from many black women. We were once conditioned to a certain standard of beauty which was straight, long hair and for many of us, that meant we had to put chemicals in our hair to achieve that look. For years, damaging our true roots to fit into this standard was normal, thank God we had an evolution. Why did you do your big chop? Was it to cut out your perm? Cut off damaged brittle hair or just a fresh start to a healthy hair journey? How did you feel after your big chop? Did you lose confidence? Did you feel "ugly"? For many of us, we had to grow into our natural beauty and that journey of accepting our true textures, un-manipulated was a challenge. Listen to me and my special guest Guilia, also known as "The Curly Flower" and Ray Calloway from the Black Girl Daily talk our natural hair journey including our big chop experience, confidence, discrimination in relationships/ the workplace, our regimens and how we came to love our natural roots. 2020 is around the corner and for the New Year I want all of us to focus on decluttering our lives. We must let go of carrying heavy burdens, voids, pain trauma, and at some point, realize that what we carry is too heavy to keep holding on too, and in may in fact be holding us back. What tools and coping skills do you have in place to get through this healing process? What have you learned over the years that works for you? What makes you feel good? Whatever that might be, remember it, store it as a tool and use it when you need it again. Listen to this episode on releasing baggage and unclogging your spirit. Let's continue making learning and loving ourselves a priority. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/therawdosage0/support

Most of us love sex, and most of us usually don't wait to indulge once we like the person / feel the chemistry. We hear from different perspectives and religions that we should save our bodies for our husbands/wives and remain pure until then, but should you??  What are your thoughts on casual sex? Do you believe in soul ties? Should we wait until we find the "one"? Sex before marriage is here.  Follow Nangie:   Youtube.com/c/IamNA    Instagram.com/i.amn_a   Facebook.com/nangiealexander   Twitter.com/i_amn_a --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/therawdosage0/support
This is for all the black girls & women who suffer from anxiety /being an introvert etc. In many spaces, I wasn’t allowed to be “the quiet black girl” because black girls are typically “loud” & if I wasn’t displaying these attributes it had to be something wrong with me. The black introvert is often questioned & judged for being who we truly are based on a stereotype, I & Saabriah are digging deep on behalf of the black community. Listen to the perspective of a UK 🇬🇧 citizen & a US 🇺🇸 citizen on #blackmentalhealth & how we are growing and evolving on different parts of the globe.🌍  Find Saabriah's website here:   saabirahlawrence.com  Instagram.com/saabriahlawrence   Twitter.com/saabriahlblog --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/therawdosage0/support

Living in fear at this point is unacceptable. The anxiety seems crippling, and you are left mentally and spiritually drained because of it. You know your capable of more but you can’t seem to find the balance between them. That’s the anxiety and what’s REAL. The pain and trauma from your past hold you back, they provide unsettling feelings and thoughts. You’re not happy with your life and feel like you failed. You sometimes choose to go back into old habits or old people because you feel comfortable there. You hold on to things when you know you should let go and let better in. You have a lot of fight in you but sometimes is feels unbearable, unrealistic that the person you have become is not capable of HEALING. You are though, WE are. Listen and be inspired, come along this journey of healing with me. It’s time. (I know I mentioned Season 2 Ep 1, but I have decided to keep the episodes rolling! This is officially season 2 Ep 11!) --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/therawdosage0/support
Outgrowing the old you isn’t going to be easy. It comes with major shifts and difficult transitions that you’ll have no choice to adapt to. The peace is knowing that your efforts will not go unnoticed. You may not see results now, but in due time you WILL. I struggle with the second voice in my head telling me I can’t do it or I’ll fail if I attempt, but I realize that; that isn’t my voice, it’s FEAR. Decipher what is happening and where it’s stemming from so that you can overcome it. Because you WILL overcome it and you WILL SUCCEED. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/therawdosage0/support
Is it realistic to say that men and women can chill together (alone) without the man feeling entitled to having sex with you? Is it possible for me to say I want to come over and it be JUST to chill and really watch Netflix without you believing that sex is what I wanted? Can we sometimes enjoy each other’s company without the notion of sex being apart of the equation? --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/therawdosage0/support
