I'm never listening to the Podcaster again. she occidental on minute things the defense and other witnesses say, but didn't apply same scrutiny to the sole person who put Byron in jail, with multiple inconsistencies every time she opens her mouth. For example, she's hinging the truth on the timeline based on whether the victim "ever" wore a menstrual pad vs only using tampons, (per friends & family)... when she was found decreased using a pad, and can't figure out why she'd use on. seriously?

I think Dawn might be remembering Kelly's cloths. What was Kelly wearing that night?

This episode suddenly cuts off. I don't understand how there is considered no new evidence. The witness clearly lied on the stand. There were witnesses never called to the stand in the defense and the actual coroner who did the autopsy discredited what was said in court. He has evidence to the contrary. How about the fact there was gross manipulation of the facts by the prosecutor?

If the victim went home and changed clothes, why did her friends say she was wearing black pants, grey shirt and jacket? Did she go home change and meet them later? Others testified she was wearing the jacket. Also the father pressuring the police to solve may have been because insurance money was being held back to investigation completed.

I don't get how people could put a innocent person in prison and be OK with it. I know they want some type of Justice or even revenge but they are blinded by that rage And can't see the truth

It's worth mentioning by someone on this Podcast that Kim Gardner is a nightmare for innocent citizens who do not have the power to protect themselves from the nightmares that Kim Gardner has released onto the streets of Saint Louis.

The idiotic idea that the court system is set up intentionally to convict black people. When you start out a discussion or a conversation or a debate with that as your starting point. There is nowhere you can go that will be good for the American people or the Justice system. There is a considerable amount of people who believe you should mirror the prison population to the actual African American population. If you did that you would have more rates more murders and more violent crime. More innocent people would die needlessly. For no other reason but to make some criminals feel better.

This is the absolutely most horrifying story I have ever heard in my entire life. I can't believe these little girls lived! It's hard to listen to, and I can't believe this strong now woman is able to talk about this. Brave lady and I am so sorry she lost her Mom and went through all this alone.
