ABOUT RUDDERLESS
Rudderless is a monologue written by Scott Davenport, read by Philip Rainford and produced by Rebcat Creations.
In this moving monologue, we follow Robert, a disenchanted office worker who feels lost and adrift in a sea of people.
He seeks a treasure island that promises happiness but is constantly knocked off course by unexpected obstacles and setbacks.
Despite this, he tries to keep going but eventually finds himself drowning in the vortex of his job. With job loss, he feels like his ship has broken apart, but he manages to find his rudder and steer himself towards a safe port.
It is a powerful metaphor for many's daily struggles in search of life direction and the importance of resilience, perseverance, and hope.

MIRROR MIRROR
A five-minute podcast monologue about ageing and relationships.
Description:
We meet Tanya, a woman in her fifties who is getting ready for a second date with a man named Tony. Looking into her mirror, she reflects on her past, including her failed marriage to Brian and their children together. She also shares her insecurities about her appearance and wonders whether she should even date Tony. However, she decides to take a chance and see where the night takes her.
Key Takeaways:
Sometimes we feel like we've lost ourselves or our sense of identity, but it's never too late to try to find it again.
Despite past failures and heartbreaks, being open to new opportunities and experiences is essential.
We should be proud of the life we've built for ourselves, even if it's not perfect.
Laughter can be a powerful tool for connecting with others and feeling more like ourselves.

The Mugs Game, is a novel written by Lorraine Flaherty and Catherine Dixon, read by Lorraine Flaherty. The novel was written between 2014 and 2018 and recorded in a London Bridge recording studio between November 2022 and February 2023.
The Mug's Game is a story about love, family and self-discovery with each character wanting something.
Zoe wants to find The One, Robert wants to avoid intimacy, Leo wants power and control, Francesca wants prestige, Joan wants to be fulfilled, Rose wants to be seen, George wants an easy life, Emily wants perfection, Miles wants status and prestige, Rick wants to be permanently high.
Through the different characters, we learn we are conditioned to play a Darwinian game of life's winners and losers. We pass the game down along the family line, unwitting, calling it "our fate" until we learn to exit The Game.
Through Robert and Zoe and their families, we learn how addiction to power, narcissism and greed cause suffering that repeats throughout lifetimes until the cycle is broken.
In this story, the boy does not save the girl, and the girl does not save the boy - they must save themselves. They are forced to face their assumptions and choose differently. When they do, surprising friendships blossom, bridges are built, new loves are born, and a new game begins, focusing on the power of love, not the love of power.
