ABOUT RUDDERLESS Rudderless is a monologue written by Scott Davenport, read by Philip Rainford and produced by Rebcat Creations. In this moving monologue, we follow Robert, a disenchanted office worker who feels lost and adrift in a sea of people.  He seeks a treasure island that promises happiness but is constantly knocked off course by unexpected obstacles and setbacks.  Despite this, he tries to keep going but eventually finds himself drowning in the vortex of his job. With job loss, he feels like his ship has broken apart, but he manages to find his rudder and steer himself towards a safe port.  It is a powerful metaphor for many's daily struggles in search of life direction and the importance of resilience, perseverance, and hope. MIRROR MIRROR A five-minute podcast monologue about ageing and relationships. Description: We meet Tanya, a woman in her fifties who is getting ready for a second date with a man named Tony. Looking into her mirror, she reflects on her past, including her failed marriage to Brian and their children together. She also shares her insecurities about her appearance and wonders whether she should even date Tony. However, she decides to take a chance and see where the night takes her.
