Italian born and Amsterdam based artist, EBASS is an upcoming techno figure known for his loopy and rhythmically rich approach to electronic music. There’s a certain elegance in the way he approaches techno. Stripped-back but with a lot of depth and functionality to keep things moving in a very danceable way. It’s a style that reminds me of the early Ostgut Ton sound. His release on SK Eleven was the moment I locked onto his production style. Clean but heavy, minimal but never pointless. As half of the duo Lyric, founded with Ericson in 2019, she’s earned recognition across Europe both in her productions and on stage. Now stepping forward as a solo artist, LYZA delivers a mix for us that perfectly captures her style and points with confidence towards the future. “I’m bringing forward an artist who has been steadily shaping an elegant, expressive techno path with her sets. We welcome Burden for TRS041. A London-based artist originally from Italy that is steadily carving his path through the international techno circuit. With a sound rooted in groove-heavy tension and hypnotic rhythms, his work explores the deeper, more meditative end of the spectrum. Releases on KSR, Planet Rhythm, BCCO, Truncate and Drawner Records showcase a refined, focused approach. For this episode, Burden shares a special live recording from a recent daytime party where he showcases a departure from his usual darker palette, leaning into a lighter flowing energy while maintaining his signature tension and drive.
