For Donald Trump, China has served as a major justification for economic protectionism, highlighting our dependencies and need to onshore products with national security implications. But that’s the talk. The reality is more dismal: a less-than-hawkish trade deal this month, with tariffs that seem to isolate allies and, inversely, reshore production on China’s mainland. For […]

GLoP Culture: Dessert First

2025-11-2001:17:45

Welcome to another episode of GLoP, America’s only podcast where three grown men debate television, theology, demon scratch marks, and the cultural meaning of Mr. Ed — all while Rob Long eats shrimp noodles into a muted microphone.  On this outing, demonology, alien hive minds, and whether Pluribus is actually a right-wing parable about American exceptionalism disguised as […]
Decades of consensus around the so-called climate catastrophe are now running into new economic, technological, and geopolitical realities. Mix in AI and its unprecedented demand for large-scale electricity generation, and we have a global climate conversation that demands to be reckoned with. Victor Davis Hanson breaks down how the foundations of decades of “green orthodoxy” […]

Journalists had no problem covering for Jeffrey Epstein for years, especially when he was cozy with Democrats. Plus, American exceptionalism is dying at the hands of our education system.
Join Jim and Greg for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch as they applaud ICE for rescuing 30,000 migrant children that the Biden administration lost track of, Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett absurdly accusing several Republicans of ties to Jeffrey Epstein, and lefties in Maryland pushing a $25 minimum wage that would make the cost of living […]
The use and abuse of H-1B visas. Plus, the egg heads that ruined our economy during the Biden administration are out in the NYT touting price controls, one of the worst ideas man ever conceived.
On this episode of The Report Card, Nat Malkus, Rick Hess, and Andy Rotherham discuss what recent elections in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City mean for education, the Trump administration’s Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education, the latest in the Jim Ryan saga, and more. And to top it off, Stacey Plaskett jumps in with a defensive scramble that […]

Wow, this is such BS! Everything increases and gets more extreme upon further questioning. And “hundreds” have died from the vaccine and “hundreds” have committed suicide at a practice of 20,000 while over a thousand people call a day? Bull Shit! Nina is a troll

'political implications for Trump and why people are so afraid (on either side) to credit anyone, not in their party for policy success'. Not true. It's NOT both sides! The Dems will NEVER give President Trump credit for ANYTHING!! Dems have achieved NOTHING but to block, mock & lie about everything the President does!

I also believe that eye-rolls are in order here. For Christine Ford to still be upset about a trivial event that occurred almost 40 years ago is ludicrous! I am here age and I have also had that sort of thing happen to me numerous times. I told the guy he was a pig and to leave me alone if he wanted to keep his arm attached to his body. geeezzz GROW UP. I do not believe her

I sure hope you are wrong about Republican turnout. I'm not necessarily sure if I believe the polls. I made sure my sons voted even though they said HRC was going to win. I said ya that's what they said about Reagan also. I think in some way they are really designed to encourage people not to go vote.
