On Wednesday morning, before Donald Trump paused his “Liberation Day” tariffs, JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon went on Fox News with host Maria Bartiromo to warn of a possible recession due to Trump’s trade policies. According to people familiar with the situation, this wasn’t a coincidence. Dimon knew that Trump would be watching the program, so he used that to his advantage to send the recession message, which clearly worked. Trump even quoted Dimon’s appearance in a post on Truth Social, though not the recession warning. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

To throw a little bit more cold water on all of these Republicans out there praising Donald Trump for being so much smarter than all of us with his tariff plan, getting exactly what he wanted and planned for this entire time, right? No, he didn't. And do you know how we know that? First and foremost? Because Donald Trump literally told us that that's not why he did it. He did it because in his words, people were getting queasy. But it turns out there was actually one person that was getting queasy that actually got to Donald Trump, and he did it in an exceptionally smart way. Not that I ever love to praise bankers, but I have to give full credit to JP Morgan, CEO, Jamie Diamond Credit, where credit is due. He went on Fox News on Wednesday morning before Trump paused the tariffs with host Maria Barta Romo. And during that interview, diamond warned, if Trump keeps doing this, we're going to a recession. He said, exactly. Um, he warned a recession was a likely outcome, his words, and then said, uh, I'm taking a calm view, but it could get worse.
So why does that matter? Well, for one while Diamond was on the air, Donald Trump tweeted out a quote from him, not the recession warning something else that you know, he said in passing. And Trump was like, Ooh, that sounds good for me. I'll put that out on truth social. But according to insiders who spoke to the Wall Street Journal, Jamie Diamond didn't just do this 'cause he was bored and wanted to go on tv. He did it intentionally because he knew that Trump would be watching that show at that time. So he was able to deliver his message, not to the American public, but to an audience of one, an audience of only Donald Trump. He took a big gamble. Maybe Donald Trump was doing something else and didn't have time to watch it, but the gamble paid off because Trump was watching and paused the tariffs again, that is cor, according to people close to the situation who spoke to the Wall Street Journal.
They said, yep, the interview had been scheduled for a while, but Diamond knew this was his chance to basically manipulate Donald Trump. And he did it like a pro, and Trump didn't even know it. But the manipulation helps the country so good on Jamie Diamond. Probably the only time in your life you've done something to help other people, even if it was mostly self-serving. And again, the reason we know this is the cause is because Donald Trump, when announcing the Pause on Tariffs, said this. I watched Jamie Diamond and Maria Bar Romo's show this morning, and he was very good. He said that actually made
The statement to the effect that something had to be done with the tariffs and trade. He said, look, you know, at some point, but he said something has to be done with tariffs and trade. Good God. This man can't form a sentence to save his life. Like I'm sitting here trying to read it, thinking maybe I'm having a stroke. But these are his word, like word for word what Trump said. And none of it makes any sense. I'm sorry to have to interject this weird little diatribe, but if I continued reading, I was probably going to have a stroke. So let me try to finish it. He's very smart and very genius. Find he's very smart and very genius.
Well, that makes one of you, he's done a fantastic job at the bank and he knows that. Everybody knows that. Anybody that's even a little bit smart knows it. God, everybody knows that anybody that's even a little bit smart knows it. What the hell? These, these aren't even sentences, these aren't even thoughts. It wasn't sustainable what was happening.
Lee Zeldin, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, was asked during an appearance on Fox about the allegations that Donald Trump intentionally crashed the stock market so that he and his wealthy friends could buy stocks at dirt cheap prices. Rather than dismissing the theory, Zeldin actually embraced it and said that this was “something to be encouraged” and definitely “not something to investigate.” Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

After markets went soaring on Wednesday following Donald Trump's 90 day pause on some of the tariffs he had put in place just a week before allegations immediately arose that Donald Trump had engaged in some form of insider trading. Now this has actually made worse given the fact that earlier in the week, Donald Trump on truth social shared a video from another user that claimed that Donald Trump had actually tanked the stock market intentionally. Not to mention the fact that early Wednesday morning before the pause on the tariffs, Donald Trump got on truth social and said, this is a great time to buy.
And then few hours later he pauses the tariffs stock market goes back up seven percentage points. So a lot of people seem to think that Donald Trump did manipulate the market so that either he or his wealthy friends or you know the millionaires and billionaires could scoop up all these stocks that had lower prices and then Trump could artificially reinflate the market. Making a lot of people a lot of money very quickly seems very plausible. Adam Schiff had this to say about it, I'm writing to the White House to demand who knew in advance that the president was going to once again flip flop on tariffs and our people cashing in. There is just all too much opportunity for people in the White House and the administration to be inside of trading.
So after Adam Schiff's comments that again make a lot of sense, like the timeline kind of lends itself to that, especially with Trump's, I'm intentionally tanking the market video. Great time to buy really smacks of insider trading. So Fox News host Maria Bar Romo decides to bring on a Trump cabinet member to talk about this issue and for some reason she decided to bring on the EPA administrator Lee Elden. 'cause you know, when you want to get to the heart of insider trading, you go to the EPA. Sure, why not? Right? Nothing makes sense. Anyway, so let's just keep doing stupid things. Um, so she asks Lee Zelin quote, your reaction to Adam Schiff coming up with this new claim now. And Lee den again, the EPA administrator, not, not involved in, you know, stock trading, the S-E-C-D-O-J, none of that, just EPA. He didn't miss a beat when he responded by saying quote, president Trump has a very good team around him working on trade policy. First of all, no he doesn't. He has a team working around him that had to create a fictitious expert to justify the tariffs, right? That's what Peter Navarro
Did. That's not a great team. And there are a lot of countries that are working out to the us. We're reaching out to the White House, reaching out to President Trump wanting to talk and enter good deals. President Trump should be working with his team. That's not something to investigate, something to encourage. We're talking about potential insider trading here, bud. The fact that Donald Trump knows based on experience, just this year when he introduces new tariffs, the stock market goes down. When he pauses those tariffs, the stock market goes up. Even before that happened this last week, we had already seen it happen two or three times previously since January 20th. So we can recognize the pattern. We knew this is how things work now, Trump knew it. So when he announced his tariffs on the so-called liberation day last Wednesday, stock market tanks for four straight days.
He goes out there Wednesday morning, says Great time to buy. And just hours later pauses, tariffs, stock market goes up. I don't know, man. I think if you were to put that in front of a jury for somebody on trial for insider trading, I think you're gonna get a conviction and know Mr. Zelin, for the record.

Republican lawmaker Nancy Mace screamed at her own constituents during a virtual town hall this week, accusing people who didn’t like the policies of Donald Trump of somehow being “paid” protesters. This has become the go-to response for Republicans who are refusing to believe that they, or Trump, are unpopular. This is a very stupid tactic that could easily guarantee a Republican wipeout in the midterms, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace decided to hold a virtual town hall with her constituents this week where you could just call in and she would talk to you. Um, it only lasted 15 minutes. So, you know, her heart really wasn't into it. She doesn't care what her voters think. And that much was evidenced not just by the short duration of the virtual town hall, but also due to the fact that she just screamed at them for most of the time. Here's what happened. A constituent Lindsey from Somerville, uh, is how she identified herself. Called in and, uh, asked this question, you know, talking about DEI and she said, I mean, you got into the Citadel with your DEI and now generations of girls aren't going to be able to have the same opportunities.
Well, that Nancy Mace off. So Nancy Mace, the big tough woman who claims she almost broke her arm from a handshake earlier this year, responded by saying this. Let me make it very clear, Lindsay, from Somerville, I earned the right to wear that ring at Citadel. I fought like hell for my ring from the Citadel. You have no idea what I went through to graduate from the Citadel. It is not a DEI graduate ring. I have a real ring because I earned it. The blood, sweat and tears I went through to follow in my father's footsteps. You will never know the pain that a woman goes through to succeed at a place like the Citadel for the love. How many times are you gonna say the Citadel? Like we get it. You don't have to keep referring to it like by name. We get it.
And clearly you're just like bragging at this point. You wouldn't last an hour. So don't give me that about DEI. You sound like someone who wants men in women's spaces. And I gotta tell you, I will never allow it. Not over my dead body. So I love how she's now shifted and she's like, I'm going to strawman you. I'm gonna turn you into something that I'm just gonna make up and then I'm gonna get off about the thing I've made up about you. Normal people don't do that. Liars and charlatans do. She continued. If that's what you want, Lindsay from Somerville, I will not help you. I will not support that. I think that is disgusting. So she's still going on about this fake bathroom thing. You will never know that toughness because you're part of the far left and then she gets to the meat of it. You're probably one of those people, one of those fake town haulers who want a fake town hall because you've never shown up to one. So you could just sit right back down. I'm not going to have any of it says Tough guy, Nancy Mace, who again had her arm in a sling after somebody shook her hand this year. So don't talk about toughness when you can't handle a handshake there, Nance, but it's the last part that really gives it all away, right? You're one of those fake protesters.
'cause you want a fake town hall. She said that. That's a weird thing. I think you either misspoke or you're a moron. Probably both. But this is how Republicans are reacting. Happened two weeks ago, another Republican, uh uh, I forget their name, but anyway, they did a town hall in person because they were braver than Nancy Mace, by the way. Let's talk about that. You're not as tough as me if you were so tough, Nancy, go face your constituents in person. You didn't even do it on video chat. You literally did it on the frigging phone. That's how scared you are. You don't even wanna see their faces, you frigging coward. But anyway, two weeks ago, Republican goes out, does a town hall booze, ge, everybody off, ends up leaving early, and again, they dismissed it. Well, it was just a bunch of agitators.
Conservative media personalities are working overtime to convince the American public that Donald Trump knew what he was doing all along with his ill-advised tariff plan. After Trump backed down from his tariffs this week, conservative hosts told us that this was EXACTLY what Trump had planned all along, and Karoline Leavitt went even further telling America that we just don’t understand “the art of the deal.” The truth is that Trump saw the tremendous global backlash and couldn’t handle it, and he deserves no praise for temporarily undoing the damage that he personally caused. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

If you're anything like me, you are a complete and total moron who didn't understand Donald Trump's art of the deal with, of course, putting tariffs in place, crashing the economy, and then pausing those tariffs for 90 days. We were simply too dumb to see what Donald Trump was doing, or at least that is what conservative media would have you believe, because ever since Donald Trump paused for 90 days, the tariffs he had put in place just a week ago, this past Wednesday, conservative media has been out there telling us, you fools. This was Trump's plan. All along, even though Trump has also admitted by the way that this was totally not his plan, all along he paused the tariffs because as he put it, people were getting queasy. So even Trump admits like, ah, I fd up. I have to fix this. No, according to the folks at Fox News at Breitbart, his billionaire hedge fund backers, who just days prior had called him an idiot.
No, we are the dumb ones Now, because Trump was gonna do this the whole time. Laura Ingram on Wednesday evening had this to say, Trump announced a brilliant move to Paul's, the higher tariffs on countries negotiating with us, but meanwhile, to raise China's tariffs to 125% to wall off China by boxing them out further weakening their economic power. It's genius. She said, Sean Hannity said, I'm just loving the reaction of stupid people, all of these people that have been trying to create in other people's minds that Donald Trump does not know what he's doing. The Treasury Secretary Besant just confirmed what I had pretty much understood because I know the guy so well. This was the plan all along, I've been saying this, he's lining up all these nations one after another after another, to the point where they're begging to do a deal with us. Breitbart ran a headline that said, art of the Deal, Trump tariff Pause, friendly Nations down to 10% while we negotiate. China rate cranked up to 125%. Stocks soar immediately. World unites against CCP. Bill Ackman, as I said, billionaire hedge fund manager, who days before basically said, this is stupid. Nobody knows why he's doing this. Came out and praised him, was like, this is genius. It is the art of the deal. He said, and of course, Caroline Levitt during her press conference on Wednesday, told us that we just don't understand the art of the deal.
Let me put it to you this way. In very simple terms that I think everybody can understand. Let's assume an arsonist shows up at your house, right? And what does that arsonist do? Well, they do what arsons do. They start a fire in your house, like your house is now burning down because
One guy, we'll call him to Trump, uh, walks into your house and lights it on fire. So now your house is burning, and that guy to Trump is just standing there watching your house burn down as you freak out. And then after a little while, Mr. Trump decides to get a bucket of water and throw it on the fire. Do you then go up to the man who started the fire and say, oh my God, you're brilliant. Look at you putting out this fire that you started. God bless it. You're a frigging genius, right? No, no, you don't do that. A crazy person would do that, but a normal, rationally thinking human being does not praise the arsonist for slightly putting out part of the fire. They just lit in your living room. But that's what conservative media is doing. Trump is the arsonist. He lit it on fire.
President Trump has signed an executive order that could reclassify thousands of federal jobs, potentially removing long-standing job protections. Supporters say it promotes accountability and merit, while critics argue it opens the door to political favoritism and undermines civil service protections. In this video, we break down the facts, history, and constitutional implications—you decide.

Hi, I'm Brenton Goodman and this is You Decide a series where I break down hot button issues using facts law and the Constitution. I won't tell you what to think. I'll just give you the information. So you decide. Recently, president Trump signed an executive order reinstating a previous policy, which was executive order 1 3 9 5 7, which shakes up the way federal employees are hired and fired. In theory, his administration claims this move promotes a meritocracy where only the most qualified civil servants hold government positions. But is that really the case? You decide? This order removes competitive hiring rules for positions that are policymaking, policy determining or confidential in nature. That means thousands of potentially over a hundred thousand federal employees could lose job protections. We're talking about office managers, HR specialists, IT experts, and even freedom of Information Act officers, and not just them. Any supervisor or anyone who, the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, who is a nominee of President Trump deems necessary, could also fall under this classification.
Now, let's talk history. Competitive hiring laws date back to the Pendleton Act of 1883, which was passed after President Garfield was assassinated by a disgruntled job seeker. Back then, government jobs were handed out as political favors, also known as the spoil system. The Pendleton Act changed that making hiring based on merit and not political loyalty. So why does this matter? Well, opponents of Trump's order argue that it's a return to cronyism, replacing skilled employees with political allies and undermining the entire reason the merit system was created. Supporters, on the other hand say the federal government is bloated, inefficient, and full of career bureaucrats actively resisting Trump's policies. They believe this order allows for greater accountability and the removal of those who undermine the administration's agenda. One key argument in Trump's favor is a memorandum issued on January 27th of this year from the Office of Personnel Management, which suggests these positions will still be filled through a competitive process, the same as before, where they're forbidden from basing appointments on political affiliation and will require proper knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
But critics push back saying that while the administration claims it's not about politics, the requirement that employees must faithfully execute Trump's policies is a thinly veiled way of ensuring only political loyalists are the ones that receive jobs. Not to mention, if they plan to keep the same hiring process, then it defeats the purpose of firing the individuals who are already hired by that same process. So is Trump's executive order a win for meritocracy or a dangerous return to political favoritism? You decide. Let me know in the comments and don't forget to like and subscribe. I'm Brenton Goodman, and this is, you decide.
Donald Trump’s entire trade war with the rest of the world is based on outright lies and fabrications, and the entire world knows it. The problem is that Trump keeps doubling down on all of his lies, adding to them and exaggerating things worse with each day. This week alone he claimed that the United States doesn’t “buy anything from Europe,” which is clearly a lie based on our trade deficit with them. But that’s just one of many false realities that Trump has created to soothe himself into thinking he’s doing the right thing. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

What I'm gonna say right now is not gonna come as a shock to anybody watching this. Donald Trump lies all the time. Okay? We get that. We know that. Let's get that outta the way right now. We all know that Donald Trump lies about anything and everything often for no reason at all. It's who he is. It's what he does. But the lies that he continues to tell to the public in order to sell his trade war to us, to somehow convince us that the market's crashing and prices rising is good for us, is getting out of control. In just the last week, Donald Trump has told some insane lies about trade deficits and the mathematical formulas used to come up with the tariffs. It's all bull crap. 100% bull crap. But he says it just like breathing. That's how easily this man lies to us. So let's examine just a few of the lies he has told just this week on Sunday, a board Air Force one, right when he is showing off that little, oh, got the Trump gold card thing.
Um, he also talked to reporters about the horrible trade deficits with China, which he said, we have a $1 trillion trade deficit with China. The reporters didn't push back. Nobody challenged it. Nobody questioned it. Oh, we got a trillion dollar trade deficit. Holy crap. Yeah, that's bad. The truth is, we have a less than $400 billion trade deficit with China. In fact, during the Biden administration, that trade deficit actually went down. It was higher in Trump's first term, and Biden brought it down, huh? Kind of makes you think that maybe the tariffs don't work. And that was just one of the lies about China, that Donald Trump told. He also then said that China has happily paid the tariffs that he put on them during his Trump, uh, uh, first administration, excuse me. Except that that also didn't happen. China doesn't pay the tariffs. The the companies in the US that brought those goods in, they make the payments to the US government.
So two major lies that, again, reporters didn't push back on. I guess they were afraid of being kicked off Air Force One possibly while it's in the air. Uh, you know, I, I get that fear, but if you can't stand up to the people you're talking to as a reporter, then you shouldn't be a reporter. You know, go, go find a different line of work because you suck. You gotta have a little bit of a backbone. And nobody in this press pool seems to have one. But that's nothing compared to the lies that Donald Trump told about the European Union. He said, quote, they don't take our cars, they don't take our food
Products, they don't take anything. And we take their cars, Mercedes, Volkswagen, BMW, you know, we take their millions of cars. They take no cars. They don't take our farm product, they don't take anything. So the US doesn't send anything to the European Union. They just don't buy it. Right? And if that's the case, then could somebody explain to me why the European Union bought $649 billion worth of US goods last year alone? Because that's the number $649 billion the European Union purchased in goods from the United States for the year 2024. And Trump's over there saying they don't take anything. They took over half a trillion dollars of stuff from us, not took they purchased. I mean, hell over half a trillion dollars. They're propping up entire industries at that point. And yeah, they do take billions of dollars worth of our farm products every year. They take billions of dollars worth of our cars every year. But again, reporters didn't push back.
The Trump administration, according to multiple sources, has been working on plans to launch drone strikes in Mexico in an attempt to take out the drug cartels. This would mean that the US government is actively considering bombing a sovereign country with no active military conflict whatsoever. This plan is nothing short of insane, but that’s par for the course with this administration. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

You know, for the most of the week, uh, it, it's been nothing but tariffs, markets, all of that. So let's switch gears a little bit, because there are, believe it or not, other things happening in the world. And one of those other things may be the United States launching a military strike against the country of Mexico. According to insiders in the Trump administration, Donald Trump, the Department of Defense, and the CIA, have been actively working on plans on how to conduct drone strikes in the country of Mexico to take out the drug cartels. Now, before I continue, let me just preface this by saying nobody likes the drug cartels unless you're in a cartel. Obviously, we don't like them. We don't like what they do, we don't like what they're selling, and we wish it would stop. But at the same time, just because we don't like what they're doing doesn't mean the United States military gets to send their drones over a sovereign country and start bombing people.
It hasn't worked out well for us in the past, even in areas that were active war zones, right? Our government makes mistakes with drones all the time. We've killed cars, filled with children because, oops, we missed, or, oops, we thought it was somebody else, so we're just gonna kill the kids. So we're not very good when it comes to these drone strikes. Sure, we've taken out some targets, but the collateral damage has been far worse than the, you know, small victories we've had. And that's been in, you know, kind of remote places, thousands and thousands of miles away that most of Americans were able to just put out of their minds, right? Like, well, I mean, yeah, that horrible thing in Afghanistan, but it's Afghanistan. You know, I, I'm not thinking about Afghanistan. Okay, well, how are you gonna feel when you hear the same story?
Except it's in Mexico, you know, at this point, maybe just a few dozen miles away from the US border, maybe just a few hundred miles away. This isn't some far off conflict you can put out of your mind. When we're launching drones out of the state of Texas and bombing somebody two minutes later, this is a disaster, a a, an international catastrophe waiting to happen, and the administration is actively drawing up plans to make it happen. Now, you may think to yourself, but even Mexico doesn't like the drug cartels. So if they approve it, what's the problem? The problem is, they have specifically said, we are not okay with this. Mexican president, Claudia Scheinbaum has said, quote,
The people of Mexico under no circumstances will accept interventions interference or any other act from abroad that is harmful to the integrity, independence, and sovereignty of the nation. What we want to make clear with this designation is that we do not negotiate sovereignty. This can't be an opportunity by the United States to invade our sovereignty. They can call cartels whatever they decide, but with Mexico, it is collaboration and coordination. Never subordination, no interference, and even less invasion because President Scheinbaum seems to understand what this administration is all about. It wouldn't be just a real quick send in the drones, take out the cartels, and we're outta there. It would be a, well, you did so poorly taking on the cartels, we're gonna take over this area of your country. I mean, that's not farfetched. We've literally done it this century, and that's what she's saying. We let these people in the door talking about the United States military, they'll never leave, and we will lose our sovereignty. So the administration is drafting these plans to drone strike Mexico, while the government of Mexico is literally telling them, don't you dare, but they don't care. This is what they want to do, and that is a horrifying thought.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is living in an alternative reality. This week, Leavitt told reporters that everyone actually loves Donald Trump’s tariffs, they are just too afraid to admit it. This comes as polls show that even Republicans hate his economic policies, Wall Street is predicting a major recession, and as Republicans in Congress revolt against him. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses the fantasy world that Leavitt is living in.

You know, I've talked a lot, um, over the years, over the last few months, and even in the last week about Donald Trump's failing mental health. But I think it's time we go beyond Donald Trump's mental health, and we start talking about Caroline Levitt's mental health, because that doesn't seem to be doing very well either. In fact, much like Donald Trump, Caroline Levitt, white House Press Secretary is also living in an alternative reality. A reality where truth and facts don't matter where polls are fake. And any negative story is nothing but fake news. Because this week, reporters during a press briefing asked her like, Hey, um, kind of getting a lot of backlash from the tariffs. You know, things don't look great for the administration. And Caroline Levitt with her big dumb cross necklace and her big stupid face said, quote, everybody in Washington, whether they want to admit it or not, uh, knows that this president is right when it comes to tariffs and when it comes to trade.
Well, there you ha, how can you refute that? Right? Like she's just out there again with that big cross on her lying to people with a straight face, like, Nope, actually everybody loves the tariffs. Hmm, you're wrong. Hmm. They don't wanna admit it, but they love it. You know, people are loving the market crash. People are loving that they now have to push retirement off by several years because their 4 0 1 Ks just bottomed out. They love it. They just don't wanna admit it because, you know, then Trump is right, and then they look silly, right? That's the world this delusional creep is living in.
That's what she's selling to the American public. She gets up there every day pretending to be a Christian while lying her off. You know, she'd better hope that, uh, there is no heaven or hell because thou shalt not bear false witness is a hell worthy trespass. Like your job every day, Caroline Levit of lying to the American public, according to that book you claim to love and you wear the symbol of is a one-way ticket to hell. Just FYI. You may not know that, but it is, that's literally one of the commandments. Don't do what you do every day. Nobody loves the tariffs except maybe Trump and Peter Navarro and the alternate, uh, persona that Navarro created to justify his love of tariffs. Even Republicans, Republican voters, overwhelmingly do not like them. A vast majority of Republicans are not happy. Same thing with majorities of independents and pretty much every single Democrat. And that's according to the polling data that came out this week. So the public, by and
Large hates it. We're not pretending to hate it, Caroline. We legitimately hate it. And then of course, you have Republicans in the House and Senate. They're starting to revolt against Donald Trump. Seven Republicans have signed on to the legislation in the Senate. Don Bacon Republican has introduced it in the house. Ted Cruz came out and said, tariffs are not good. This could lead to a recession, which is gonna be a quote bloodbath for Republicans. Yeah, they hate it too. And those Republicans are not pretending to hate it just because, oh, they like Trump. They wanted him. Nobody is pretending to hate the tariffs. Caroline. But thank you once again for proving that just because you wear that big, giant cross on your chest doesn't mean you follow anything in that Bible.
Donald Trump was in full blown panic mode on Wednesday, as he got on Truth Social and fired off a series of posts about how amazing the economy is doing in a matter of minutes. Trump was widely mocked all across the internet for his panic attack, and some even pointed out that he sounded like he was making a pathetic sales pitch as a used car salesman as he begged foreign companies to come into the United States. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Donald Trump apparently woke up in a panic on Wednesday morning over the fact that his tariffs are not just tanking the US economy, but also tanking his poll numbers to the point where it is now predicted that Democrats are gonna make gains that make the 2018 blue wave look like a leaky faucet. So Trump decided to wake up, and it's starting at 7:44 AM Eastern time. He got on truth social and made a sales pitch, I guess you would call it. And it was so cringe worthy that it actually caused one conservative commentator to say that it sounded like a bad used car salesman. But here is how Donald Trump started the morning in just one of seven rapid fire posts. He said, quote, this is a great time to move your company into the United States of America like Apple and so many others in record numbers are doing zero tariffs and almost immediate electrical energy hookups and approvals.
No environmental delays. Don't wait. Do it now. And yeah, that, that sounds like a really, really bad infomercial for, I don't know, oxyclean, maybe no offense to Oxyclean, but don't wait. Do it now. And if you're one of the first 30 companies to come to the United States, you also get one free insider trading pass, right? That, that, that's what our country has become. Just nothing but a, a pitchman for companies to come over here and do more expensively what they could do overseas. That's the problem. Companies for decades have been incentivized to move their factories, whatever it is overseas because the labor is so cheap, moving it back here is gonna cost them more money, probably more money than they would save versus the tariffs, right? So they don't have the incentive to do it. The only way to do that is to basically get rid of all legal protections for workers and then the companies could exploit them, and we would be far worse off for it.
There's no real good outcome for this because the system has been in place for decades, and it's kind of rooted in stone right now. Unfortunately, if we had been proactive as a country, not allowed the deregulation of Aaron, uh, of Reagan, excuse me, not allowed, you know, the horrible trade deals that happened under the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations, we wouldn't be in this situation, but we are now, and it's gonna take more than just some tariffs to get us out of it, which Trump doesn't seem to understand. But then just a few moments later, he simply posted on True social, make America great again. Okay? Then a few moments after that, he said, Republicans, it is more important now than ever that we pass the one big beautiful bill. The USA will soar like never before.
Now all of those were in a matter of minutes from each other. And this is the same guy who earlier in the week told Republicans don't be a panicking. Uh, which he said is a weak you know, pathetic individual. But that's exactly what he looks like here. He's making a sales pitch, he's begging Republicans. And then 16 minute later, uh, 16 minutes later, excuse me, he says, it is imperative that Republicans in the house pass the tax cut bill. Now our country will boom, no, that's actually gonna hasten the recession. 27 minutes later, he said, uh, quoting Jamie Diamond who said fixing trade and tariffs is a good thing. Jamie Diamond, JP Morgan Chase chairman, and CEO on Maria BI show. So now he's being a pitch man for Fox News. That's, that's wonderful for the president of the United States. Also, Jamie Diamond said that the tariffs are horrible he, he didn't put that part in there. Jamie Diamond is off about these, but furthermore, nobody cares what Jamie Diamond has to say. Then eight minutes later he says, be cool. Everything is going to work out well. The USA will be bigger and better than ever before.
Republicans in the Senate are becoming more and more vocal about how horrible Donald Trump’s trade war is for Americans, and Trump simply can’t handle it. He has spent the last few days raging on Truth Social about how mean China is (and announcing new tariffs on them) while complaining that people aren’t saying that his tariffs are a “beautiful thing,” and also calling out Republicans who want to reign in his powers. Trump is off his rocker worse than usual, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

Donald Trump is furious over the fact that Republicans don't like his tariffs. Independents and moderates don't like his tariffs. And of course, Democrats do not. But he's getting pushback. He's getting pushback from Elon Musk. He's getting pushback from Republicans in the House and Senate, and he's mad because as he says, he's doing this for us and we should be grateful. So on several different occasions over the last several days, Donald Trump has let his rage fly on truth social, going after everyone from China who is supposed to get new tariffs because Trump's just mad at them for retaliating, which honestly, you can't blame 'em. That's kind of what you should do. But he's mad at China, he's mad at Republicans, and also he's mad at you America, for not telling him that his tariffs are the most beautiful thing you've ever seen in the world. One of the posts that Donald Trump put out there said this. This is the one that attacked the Republican Party. The United States has a chance to do something that should have been done decades ago. Don't be weak, don't be stupid. Don't be a panicking. A new party based on weakened stupid people. Be strong, courageous, and patient and greatness will be the result.
Um, I do like the panic, and I'm not gonna lie, a new party based on weakened stupid people. Um, because I think panicking is still a better name for them than Maga because before Trump came up with panicking, we just called the weak and stupid people maga. So, you know, it kinda separates it from your brand name there, but it's still the same people, right? The weak and stupid ones are the ones who put you back in office and you're the one who's doing all of this. It's not like we're imagining the economic destruction that we're seeing Donald. It's very real. Over $6 trillion of value lost from the stock market. A slight recovery that happened on Monday that was completely undone. 'cause Caroline Levitt opened her stupid mouth, this is bad. It's getting worse, and it's all because of you. 100%. You and yeah, Republicans and the Senate are like, maybe we should do something. And you're like, don't, don't be weak. You gotta be patient, you know, lose all your money, while I'm trying to figure out what I'm even doing here. But then as I mentioned, he wasn't done. 'cause he's not just mad at Republicans. As I said, he's mad at you. Like you out there ring a fire audience. You him off. Here's another post he had this week. The tariffs are already in effect and a beautiful thing to behold. The
Surplus with these countries has grown during the presidency of sleepy Joe Biden. We're going to reverse it and reverse it quickly. Someday. People will realize that tariffs for the United States of America are a very beautiful thing. Now, in order for that to be true, another truth would also have to exist. The second truth would have to be that everybody else throughout the last a hundred years has been just completely stupid on the issue of economics. And only Donald Trump possesses the intelligence to know that tariffs would've solved our problems all the way back to the Great Depression. Except we tried it. Republicans actually tried it during the Great Depression, and it made the great Depression worse. So that's kind of why we, we didn't keep doing it. Um, we live in a more modern world. The tariffs didn't work in the twenties and thirties. They're not working now in the well in the twenties,.
Elon Musk is continuing to escalate his feud with top Trump trade adviser Peter Navarro, saying that he is a “moron” who is “dumber than a sack of bricks.” Elon also called out Navarro for inventing a fictional “expert” to justify his obsession with tariffs. Musk isn’t wrong about those parts, but he’s also being dishonest with people about the true nature of Tesla vehicles and the impact of the tariffs on his businesses. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

So for about a week now, there has been an ongoing feud between Donald Trump's top trade advisor, Peter Navarro, and of course the world's richest man and Doge enthusiast, Elon Musk. And it escalated again early this week when Peter Navarro went out there in the media, conservative media and referred to Elon Musk as nothing more than a car assembler, who clearly doesn't like tariffs because he is getting car parts from overseas, which for the record is not untrue. But more on that in just a minute, this statement Elon Musk off even worse than the tariffs have. So Elon Musk got on social media in a series of posts because he couldn't just do one and done God no, he had to go bam, bam, bam, and attacked Peter Navarro as quote a moron and somebody who is as dumb as a sack of bricks. Also, for the record, very true.
But here is what Musk said again, in response to being called a car assembler who gets his parts from overseas, Musk said quote, Navarro is truly a moron. What he says here is demonstrably false. Tesla has the most American made cars. Navarro is dumber than a sack of bricks. Those were two separate posts. Then he goes onto this one. By any definition whatsoever, Tesla's the most vertically integrated auto manufacturer in America with the highest percentage of US content. Navarro should ask the fake expert he invented Ron Vara. Okay? In case you haven't heard Rachel Maddow actually did a beautiful segment on this. Ron Vara is the expert that Peter Navarro cites repeatedly in his books, in defensive tariffs, like, Hey, you don't have to take my word for tariffs being the greatest thing since sliced bread. Ron Vara is the guy that says they are, and I trust Ron Vara.
Well, it was revealed recently that Ron Vera, uh, Vera Vara, doesn't matter. He doesn't exist. 'cause he doesn't exist. He's fake. He's somebody Peter Navarro invented because Peter Navarro loves tariffs. And then his alter ego, Ron Vara, who he actually even created an email address for, said, tariffs are the greatest thing in the world. And that's who Trump is listening to, A guy who invented a fake expert to back up his fake point. So Elon Musk called him out on that, which is great, it's wonderful. But, um, I also love the fact that Elon Musk says statements with a lot of fancy sounding words that mean nothing, right? Like by any definition whatsoever, Tesla's the most vertically integrated auto manufacturer in America, vertically integrated that those are just words that don't actually mean anything, dude. Those are like marketing terms
That you use to confuse people because again, they don't mean anything. But then he says, the highest percentage of us content, see, right there, he gives up the game because Navarro said, Hey, you're importing parts for your car. And he's like, that's demonstrably false. We have the highest percentage, but clearly not a hundred percent right, Elon, because if it were a hundred percent, you wouldn't have said highest percentage. You would've said we're 100% American made. But I decided to look into this, how much, how many, what percentage of parts inside of a Tesla come from overseas? And the answer according to estimates, is roughly 50 to 60%. So, um, maybe half at best, half, uh, the rest of it again comes from Canada. About 25% of it comes from Mexico. Um, the rest comes from overseas. And then maybe 50 to 40% comes from right here in the United States.
Russian state media is laughing at the United States after Donald Trump tanked the economy and destroyed global trust in the US’ economic system. In fact, they went as far as to say that there should be statues built of Trump for the damage that he’s done to our country. This is a country that clearly hates us and thinks Trump is a fool, but that hasn’t stopped Trump from giving them everything they’ve ever wanted. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

According to the polls, pretty much, uh, everybody in America here hates Donald Trump's trade war and what it's done to our economy. Our allies in Canada and Mexico do not like it. Our allies over in Europe are unhappy, but there is one country that right now is literally celebrating Donald Trump's trade war. And of course, it's a country that somehow some way managed to escape the trade war by not having any tariffs placed on goods they send to the United States. And in case you couldn't tell its Russia on Russian state media this week, a Russian political scientist along with the host of the program, uh, of Vladimir, uh, UVV, not only praised Donald Trump for the destruction of the US economy, the destruction of global trust in the United States, but then went as far as to suggest that he should be, they should create statues of him for the damage that he has done to the United States. Here is what they said. The first was political scientist, Dmitri Koff who said, uh, uh, he lauded Trump for wanting to quote, break everything. And mused that quote, it looks like the end of the global system is coming, the global system that is about 50 years old. The price of goods will certainly go up in the United States. The old political and economic global system is practically dead.
Then Vladimir Sov, the host of the program, said Trump destroyed the trust and called for a statue to be built in his honor. A monument should be erected to him. This was a major blow to the system of capitalism. I think he deserves at least a su medal. So if we can't build statues for Donald Trump destroying the United States, we should at least give him this solu to metal. Now, in case you're not familiar, which I'm sure nobody is, 'cause I wasn't before reading this, the Solu to metal is uh, basically viewed as kinda like a gag gift. And in Russia it is typically given by a master to their servant. That is what Russia is suggesting they give to Donald Trump from the master to the servant, the ov metal. Here's what gets me about this. Obviously Russia doesn't like us. I understand that. Like they don't like capitalism still, right? They're not a communist country, but there's still kind of a communist country. Um, so they don't like it. I get that. I understand that. I understand the history there. Look, I'm not a big fan of capitalism either, uh, but you know, well-regulated it can work properly, which
We haven't had it well regulated in decades. But anyway, that's beside the point. The thing is, they hate us. They think Donald Trump is a buffoon. He is a moron. He's destroying our country from within and they love it. Yet at the same time, Donald Trump gives them everything they want. Again, they were exempted from tariffs, no tariffs on Russia. He's lifted sanctions against them. He's gone and basically bowed down in front of Vladimir Putin. He's working exclusively with Putin to figure out how they can take apart a Ukraine for Putin to keep, and then Ukraine, you stop doing, you know, defending yourself. But Trump has given them everything they want and they still openly, publicly on the air mock him. And he doesn't even realize it. He doesn't realize it. He doesn't know it, he doesn't get it, that he's not part of their club. He is their servant. So they're celebrating the fact that Donald Trump is destroying the United States from within.
Adin Ross, the MAGA influencer and podcaster who gave Donald Trump a Rolex and a customized Cybertruck during the campaign, complained during a recent podcast that he had lost “eight figures” in the market crash that Trump caused. This led to podcast host DJ Akedemiks to semi-jokingly suggest that Ross was hoping they would “bring back Kamala” to fix Trump’s mistakes. That may be the feeling of a lot of people who are losing everything right now, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

Aiden Ross, the 23-year-old internet personality who of course is a MAGA Donald Trump super fan, the guy who gifted Donald Trump a Rolex watch and a customized cyber truck during the presidential campaign set on a podcast this week that he has now lost eight figures in the stock market since Donald Trump imposed those tariffs. Eight figures. So I don't know if you need to do the quick, uh, math there, but that's over $10 million. This person, Aiden Ross, claims to have lost all because of the man that he supported for president. Here is what he said on a podcast with, uh, his ally DJ academics, um. He revealed that he's lost eight figures in the stock market, and he added, people are getting killed. Me too. We all are. And it was at that point that DJ academics said, you overhear. Like, Kamala, come back to me.
Now, Aiden Ross didn't necessarily agree with that, but he also didn't necessarily disagree with that. And of course, academics said that in, in jest, right? Like, man, your wishing Kamala would come back. But I gotta tell you, a lot of people are wishing that right now, including a lot of people who did openly, vocally support Donald Trump. But Ross continued. It's bad. I'm not gonna lie to you. It'll get better, but it's bad though. Now, that's the part that I take issue with because I've heard that from people at Fox News. I've heard it from Trump supporters out there like, oh, he is playing the long game, right? He knows what he is doing. He is playing four dimensional chess while everybody else is playing checkers. Let me put it to you this way, in a way that I have not seen anybody else explain it.
If Donald Trump were in fact playing a long game, or if things were in fact going to quote, get better, as Aiden Ross suggests, they will. Then, let me ask you this. Why didn't they get better after his first trade war? Let's never forget, 'cause I feel like I was the only one talking about this even during the Biden years. Donald Trump's first trade war began in 2018 and didn't go away. Those tariffs that he put in place in the year 2018 remained in effect till right now, and they're still in effect. Biden didn't get rid of them. They existed throughout the entire Biden administration as well as the, you know, most of the first Trump administration all through today.
So let me ask you to all you, oh, he's playing the long game. What got better? Right? It's been seven years. Seven years. We have had those original tariffs in place. Did things get better? Right? What's better in America today because of those tariffs that Donald Trump put in place all the way back in 2018? It's been seven years. I'd say that's a long game. What improved? What companies came back into the United States and built factories here and stopped producing goods overseas in those seven years? Who did it? We all know the answer to that, and the answer is nobody. But that is the question that the press needs to be asking. That is the question that any democrat that goes on a conservative outlet where they're saying, oh, things will get better. Ask that question. What got better after the first trade war? That is still again, going on today? What improved? What companies came back? Answer me those questions. Ask them point blank, make them think for half a second while they're trying to assure you that things are going to get better or Trump knows what he's doing, or we should trust him, or he is playing a long game because he's not.

The Trump administration has maintained that the people they’ve deported to the El Salvadorian prison were all violent criminals that were so dangerous that they had to be sent away immediately. But a 60 Minutes investigation found that at least 75% of the people deported have NO criminal records, completely blowing up the talking points of the administration. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

On Sunday evening, 60 Minutes, decided to do a deep dive into the 238 people that the Trump administration has rounded up from here in the United States and sent down to that prison in El Salvador, the Sea Cot, it's called C-E-C-O-T. It has been described as a torture prison. People have called it a slave prison. Uh, one of the most horrific super prisons on the planet, basically. And 238 people from the United States, including some people, totally innocent, regular green card holding people were sent down there. But the Trump administration maintains that aside from the one guy they totally messed up on, but refused to bring back. Uh, everybody else was a horrible criminal. Like just the worst of the worst were getting rid of the gang members and the murderers. So 60 Minutes realized, you know what, if these people actually have these criminal records, like the Trump administration has given us the names, how about we do a simple search and see how many have criminal records?
And it turns out, based on their investigation, 75% of these people, 75%, had no criminal record at all. Nothing in their history of any kind of law breaking 3%, they were unable to determine. Out of the 238 people, 12 of them, 12 had criminal records, prosecutions or arrests for violent crimes, murders, assaults, things like that. Just 12 of the 238 that we were told were all violent criminals. 12 of them were or at least accused of being, 75%. No, 22% did have criminal records, but it was for nonviolent crimes, uh, vandalism, shoplifting, things like that. But we were told 100% of these were the worst of the worst, and that's why we're sending them down to the prison for terrorists.
The administration has been lying since day one, but their lies continue to evolve because if you look at the 75% that they have no criminal record, the administration has a response for that. A Homeland Security spokesperson said quote, many of the individuals that are counted as non-criminals are actually terrorists. Human rights, abusers, gangsters more. They, they just don't have a rap sheet in the us. Furthermore, every single one of these individuals committed a crime when they came into this country illegally. It is not an accurate description to say they are non-criminals. This deceptive categorization is devoid of reality and misleads, the American public
Entering the country illegally or overstaying a visa is not a criminal matter here in the United States. So no, they are not criminal. That is in fact a civil matter that is handled in civil courts, not criminal courts. So no, even by your own exaggerated definition, it still doesn't apply to these people because it's not a criminal matter, it's a civil matter, but that's what they've done. They continue to move the goalposts. This isn't the first time they've made that claim. Caroline Levitt has said like, well, everybody in the country illegally is technically a criminal, so therefore they all fit our description. They made the description first and came up with the criteria later to include everyone. Even though legally speaking in the United States, it is completely inaccurate. It's no surprise that Donald Trump is now losing support on the issue of immigration. And as more and more stories come out about how innocent these people really are with no due process, his numbers are gonna continue to go down. You already have a majority of Americans who disapprove of sending people down to that El Salvadorian prison, and that happened before we actually learned that an innocent man was sent down there. Just imagine what those polls are gonna look like by the end of this week or next week. It's the one issue Donald Trump still has approval on overall with immigration.
