I lost my dad at Christmas, like yours he lived a long way away. He was also complex....a farm kid with a Masters degree who became a cowboy. A legit cowboy with cuffs and pistols and a rope and a big bandana. We talked the day he died. We talk still, the conversations are just different. I am not sad, but I still grieve. Go surf, he might be out there.
Peace be with you Rob

Thank you for this! Very comforting as I end a season of 13 years at a Church and journey into the unknown. For a while I have felt called to say yes to something new yet It's hard to walk away from what feels familiar. I won't let fear hold me back any more. Good is the enemy of the best!

I'm just arriving 6 years late, but I'm so glad I'm not really alone! This journey would be so much more difficult without these.
