Description
I've been playing radio as a pod-caster for over 10 years now. I love it so much, i've managed to figure out a way to do my show from an RV, an oil field in Texas, the drivers's seat of a semi or my awesome home studio in my home state of North Dakota (I lost that one in my divorce LOL).. I'm going to re-boot this podcast one more time and I hope you'll become a listener!
Today, it's next to impossible to have a meaningful political discussions in our highly charged political climate. It doesn't matter if it's on social media or in person, everyone pretty much has their mind made up. so I decided to have my political discussions here, on my own show. I hope you'll listen and give me shot at giving you my take on things. I don't take myself too seriously so if nothing else, maybe you'll get a laugh of two at my expense.

Do you support illegal immigration? Are you opposed to the military protecting our Southern border? If so, I'd love to know your reasoning and a better solution.
The Caravan of Honduran immigrants is on its way to our Southern border. It's intent? To challenge our nation's laws and to drive a wedge between it's people. This Caravan is organized and purposeful, and I won't be convinced that it is anything other then political propaganda designed to tug at the heartstrings of a valuable undecided segment of our electorate. Will Mexico do the right thing and stop it in its tracks? Or will our military be called upon to do the job itself and seal our Southern border?
With the midterm elections just around the corner, everyone is sick and tired of political ads. So much of what we see and hear In Those ads are the result of focus group data. Data paid for by both political parties to determine what scares you the most and then hit you between the eyes with it. How does that make you feel? I know for me, it pisses me off. I don't like being manipulated that way.
I interview my politically under informed co worker to see what and who he knows. He's probably much happier in life than you and I. Ignorance truly is bliss...until it's time to vote.
The nomination of Brett Kavanaugh has us tearing each other apart. Sexual assault is a sensitive subject. It should never have been brought before the American people the way that it was. We send men and women to Congress to represent us and handle the nation's ugly business, so we don't have to. So it doesn't play out in the personal lives of everyday Americans. They are paid to tear each other other apart and Hammer out political differences. Their purpose is to sift through the garbage that is politics. They shirked that responsibility and put it on us, and that should piss you off no matter which side of the aisle you're on. Think of all the secrets our government keeps from us, but they chose to put this shitshow front-and-center instead stopping the confirmation hearing process dead and it's tracks and handling it behind closed doors. We are being manipulated, both parties are posturing for power. The midterms hang in the balance, and a divided electorate is the prize these scumbags are after.
Nominations to the Supreme Court never used to be a referendum on social issues. Nor were they seen as a power grab by ideologically driven groups. The travesty that is unfolding today in the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, confirmation hearings, is just another nail in the coffin of what used to be the United States of America.
How will things like the #metoo movement and the Brett Kavanaugh nomination affect how men and women interact with one another?
Apparently it only takes one to tango... If you are a man. In a recent Twitter post, a woman named Gabrielle Blair made the statement that all unwanted pregnancies are caused by men. And therefore, men are hypocritical when it comes to their opinions on abortion. Her tweet was picked up by the blog site Scary Mommy and is now making its rounds on social media. Miss Blair is being hailed as a hero for her tweet, also claiming that men's orgasms and ejaculations are also irresponsible. Here is a link to the original blog post.https://www.scarymommy.com/twitter-anti-abortion-unwanted-pregnancies/?utm_source=FB
As hurricane Florence approaches the East Coast, it becomes more evident to me that weather events are being used to further a political agenda. Those who are labeled as climate change deniers seem to be in a similar position as those who found themselves on the wrong end of the Spanish Inquisition.
Remembering September 11th 2001 should be about honoring those who were tragically killed, and remembering those who gave their lives in the subsequent war that followed. It shouldn't be used as a political weapon, or a way to play on heartstrings and grab ratings. But sadly over the last 17 years, more and more people seem to be using it as a vehicle to make some political statement, and I think that's wrong.
Are sports Arenas really the places we want to be hammering out our political differences? Are we that devoid of real leadership in this country that we look to pro athletes and celebrities for direction? Serena Williams' recent loss to Naomi Osaka, the subsequent fit she threw and the antics of her fans following her defeat only go to show just How Far We've Fallen As Americans.
More horseshit. Enough of this already.
Apologies get you no where. Own it. Accept responsibility and nut up.
The election of Donald Trump has further exposed America's ongoing Civil War. For now, no shots have been fired or territories taken but we are two Americas, make no mistake about that.
The NFL, just like almost every other form of entertainment has allowed itself to become politicized. Professional football used to be an escape, now it's nothing more than a constant reminder of our failing political and social health.
Americans have been living in a leadership vacuum for so many decades, that when leadership, love it or hate it, is exhibited, it scares the crap out of us.
British prime minister Theresa May and president Donald Trump just finished their joint news conference. What narrative will the mainstream media run with in the days to come?
