Hey there folks!  I'm back with a new episode of the Roddcast!  This episode is with DeAnna Sutherland and we talk about emotional awareness and subconscious patterning.  This is the first time she and I have sat down and had a real conversation and I'm very happy we were able to!  I loved hearing her perspective and I'm sure you will too!  Not only is DeAnna full of wisdom, she is also a talented massage therapist.  I 100% recommend you go to her facebook page, contact her and set up a session.  You'll thank me later.  Attune Bodywork & Healing Arts DeAnna Sutherland, LMT of Attune offers therapeutic massage and cupping therapy. https://www.facebook.com/attune.bodywork/  The song at the end if by We're History and it was my pick because we just released an album and I'd love you to hear.  I also thought it was appropriate for the topic. https://open.spotify.com/track/1kPUHRqvHwGJuPrcFlFR3v?si=TvNTler8RBqZlifgINB1OQ
Hello!  This episode is all about music!  Specifically an in depth talk with Kevin Cardinale & Gina Denardo about their band, No More Death Stars - a pop punk band out of Glens Falls, NY.  They're releasing an EP on Saturday, Feb 22nd at the Candy Ambulance Headquarters in Queensbury, NY.  It's going to be a rocking time.  Be sure to check out the new tunes and head on over to the release show if you're in the area!  Here are some links with all the info: https://www.facebook.com/nomoredeathstars/Release PartyBandcamp
Hello great folks!  I'm back with another Roddcast episode!  Sorry about the delay.  I've been busy busy busy working on some really cool projects coming up!  And you can hear about those projects on this podcast with William Fredette!   On this episode, we talk about MUSIC! One of the most celebrated topics of the podcast, music is at the epicenter of both of our lives.  Will plays in and fronts Albany rockers, El Modernist (click the links below).  El Modernist shall be releasing an EP very shortly for your listening pleasure so be sure to follow them and be on the look out.  He also works at one of my favorite local record labels, Equal Vision Records, who has produced records for Portugal. the Man, Circa Survive and many other great bands.  The song before the interview is by El Modernist.  It's called "Doctor" and was recorded live (by me!) at Gug's earlier this month and is being used for a live video that you can find on the El Modernist social media accounts!  Check it out!  And without further delay, enjoy the podcast. https://www.facebook.com/ElModernist/ElModernist.comhttps://www.facebook.com/equalvision/www.equalvision.com
This episode of the Roddcast is about FRIENDSHIP!  And who better to talk about friendship with other than one of my oldest best friends, Alexis Galagan!  We were best friends since junior high but a few years ago we went our separate ways only to return to our friendly ways once again.  Since last year Alexis has ventured along with me and the Tambourelli crew making new connections along the way, and now finds herself surrounded by a loving and caring family of friends.  I hope you enjoy learning a bit about her story!
We & Spirituality // Ep26

We & Spirituality // Ep26

We is a very special friend and I was very happy to have them on the podcast.  We talked about overcoming trauma and addiction through spirituality.  We has had a successful journey navigating through trauma and addiction and wants to share how connection to spirituality can help others as well.   At the end of the episode we play one of We's songs from their music project BIRTHDAYS.  Please go to band camp and listen to the whole self titled album.  It is great.  This song is called Biggie Shorty.  https://birthdays.bandcamp.com/
Carlie Madison is one cool chick and we're talking about LOVE STUFF!  This is one of my favorite topics because I love loving people.  We talk about the biology of love, sex, polyamory, monogamy, jealousy, communication and all the stuff in between!
After a short break I'm back!  And it's with Chris Cronin!  Chris is one of the mythical creatures north of Albany that has the power to really dazzle your mind.  What does that mean?  Tune in to this weeks episode to find out!  We talk about music and I ramble on about some nonsense as we go along.  You shall notice songs appearing throughout the episode written, played, recorded, mixed and produced by Chris Cronin himself.  Hope ya'll dig it! Here are some links to the things he's involved in:Let's Be Leonard: https://www.facebook.com/letsbeleonard/
Mattbot!  Griff!  Whatever you want to call him!  It is THE MATT GRIFFIN!  Matt is the guitarist-extraordinaire in Let's Be Leonard, party-time DJ otherwise known as DJ Griffbot,  and you may have also seen him around Saratoga Springs rocking it in the People Food Trio.  A busy man with a cool mind and I was lucky enough to carve out some time with him and have a pleasant conversation about mostly music.  It's over 2 hours of conversation so we intertwine all sorts of different things in there.  Hope you enjoy!  Matt was kind enough to provide a song for the end of this podcast.  It's a Let's Be Leonard demo recorded on Garage Band on a phone!  Very beautiful song.  I'm actually going to go listen to it when I'm done with this.    www.letsbeleonard.com www.facebook.com/letsbeleonard
Make sure you listen to this in a place where it's appropriate to laugh because this one is a doozy!  Bill Burke is a very funny man and I am thankful that I got to get him on as soon as I did because he is leaving for the military!  We talk about that, sex and comedy for the most part.  The rest of the time is pretty much just me laughing at him.  I hope you enjoy it! Be sure to catch Bill before he leaves at the Comedy Works open mic!  Usually starts at 9pm on Thursday nights!

IT IS THE NICK WILSEY SHOW!!!!!!  If ya'll don't know Nick then I am proud to introduce you to him!  He is a very interesting fellow with a beautiful mind.  We've been friends now for a couple years and I've always enjoyed our interactions together.  We've sat down to have many mind blowing conversations that tend to drivel into madness (my favorite).  So I was very happy to get him to sit down for the podcast.  We talk about life and death and would-you-rather's all while enjoying a nice game of chess together.  Enjoy!
Episode 20!  That's pretty cool!  And I present it with two great people, Lucas Garrett & Gina Denardo.  Our topic today is music!  Can't get enough of it.  We talk about being musicians, song writing, the local music scene and a whole bunch more!  Listen to the end to hear a Lucas Garrett original song titled "Fears and Scars" from his live performance at WEXT.  https://lucasgarrett.bandcamp.com/album/live-at-wext https://www.facebook.com/LucasGarrettMusician/
Lauren is a lovely lady with a bright mind! I was very happy that she brought the topic of communication to the podcast. And then when we sat down to talk she delved into a direction I didn't quite expect. I did have to cut this one short for personal plans but I think we were able to get a lot out nonetheless. Enjoy!
Grady Dixson folks, and we're talking about COMEDY. He's a real funny guy that I've known for a quite a long time. He's one of our local stand up comedians. He helped found the Comedy Works Open Mic. A avid comic book reader. Everybody, give it up for GRADY DIXSON! https://www.facebook.com/gradycomedy/
LANGUAGE!  Absolutely necessary for this podcast!  I love that we're discussing it.  Studying language using language.  It's like trying to look at your own eyes.  But Jess and I delved right into it anyhow!  In fact, Jess Hoffman is currently working on her master's degree in English Literature and already has a degree in Library Science.  I think it's safe to say we've got someone qualified to talk on this subject.  She just started a great blog discussing hot topics and presents her opinions in a easily digestable way.  Please take a read!  It's called "Language, Thought, Discourse"  And enjoy this episode! https://languagethoughtdiscourse.wordpress.com/
Ben and I worked together at Cudney's and became friends through the great conversations we've had.  He has since left Cudney's and he and his lovely girlfriend, Jan, are working hard on building a mobile mini home that they can use to travel the country together.  And this is why I wanted them on the podcast!  We talked all about what they've done and where we will be going!  We dig deep into some philosophy that comes with the territory, technology, and all sort of different tangents.  Enjoy!
This is the last MiniRoddcast and the first of the RoddRant series.  Learn more by listening to the episode!
Asa Morris is a mysterious fellow.  We're lucky we even got to do this podcast because he was one favor away from getting thrown in jail!  Don't worry, just a traffic violation.  Join us for this conversation about addiction, suicide, music and free will.  It's a doozie.
Keith and I first became friends at our job at Cudney's.  We've had so very many great conversations during our working hours and I knew I had to have him on the Roddcast.  In fact, our past talks definitely helped prepare me for the podcast, unintentionally.   Our topic for the day was technology. Neither one of us are experts on technology but we were still able to have a very thorough discussion about many different facets of technology.  We talk about the Unabomber, social media, online dating, AI and VR!  Very interesting stuff!
I've known Sam for quite some time now but I never knew much about her traveling life!  Absolutely fascinating!  Culture and diversity is something that is very prevalent in our lives everyday.  Sam Whalen has earned a very  interesting perspective by traveling around the world and immersing herself into these different culture.  If you're an aspiring traveler or interested in learning about different cultures, take a listen to a real cultural anthropologist that has lived and loved it! The next day Sam texted me and said she remembered all sorts of stuff that she could have talked about.  For instance, the pose in our selfie from the website, that's Malaysian!  Another example is that using your index finger in Malaysia is super rude!  And nothing can be done with your left hand (it's the poop hand).  An Ecuadorian way of drinking beer is by sharing 1 big bottle with 2 small cups among 5 people!  They're great at sharing!  Just make sure you don't bogart the cup!
It's about time!  I've been waiting for someone to pick polyamory for a while now!  It only took 12 episodes!  So thank you KarylAnne Chabot for taking the time to talk to me about it.   KarylAnne is a brand new friend!  She's very intelligent, a linguistic artist, and a hopeless romantic (same).  Our talk got cut short, as you will hear, and we wanted to add on to it but couldn't make the time.  I hope you enjoy what we managed to spout out!
