We kicked it off with sports first this week, focusing on the Tigers leading up to the All-Star break. The Home Run derby looks stacked this year. Tamps Bay is currently title town with the Lightning winning their second straight Stanley Cup. After Nate brought us the news from the nerdy world, then we gave our thoughts on Loki episode 5. At the end we had a small conversation on what if we experienced life with parallel or multiple universe?
Nates nerdy news, Loki episode 4 recap and sports updates. Then a discussion on anarchy.
Nate brings you the nerdy news for the week and we followed that up with our discussion on Loki episode 3. After out ad read for H2O we transitioned over to Baseball and the Tigers. We talked about the state of the team and what we want to see in the organization moving forward. That was followed up with a quick update on the Pistons who won the draft lottery this week and now hold the #1 overall pick in this years upcoming NBA draft. Finally we wrapped up with a short discussion on transgenderism in sports.
We talked about Loki episode 2 and who was more selfish between Thor and Starlord in the Avengers Infinity war. Per usual there was a little update on the Tigers as well. Hope you enjoy the conversation.
In Nates Nerdy News we talked about the first episode of the new Loki tv show. Kris highlighted the early success Eric Haase continues to have for the Tigers and gives a quick update on the Lions training camp. Will Jared Goff have similar success to Ryan Tannehill in his new home with the Lions? Can Julio Jones make the Titans a Super Bowl contender or is he just going to replace the lost offensive production of former TE Jonnu Smith?
We talked about how we spent our Memorial Day weekends. Nate gave us updates. Then we talked about the best to wear #20 in Detroit.
In this weeks episode the main topic was our discussion on aliens and A.I./ robots, and which of them is scarier to imagine or seems more likely to happen first.
After the intro I (Kris) tell everyone how I'm just now getting into cryptocurrency and then we all say how we felt about masks and covid (no offense to anyone who did or did not wear a mask). We began our segments with N3, (Nates nerdy news) as it being called for now. Nate gives everyone the updates on movie release dates and what's coming down the pipeline from Marvel. Next Blake and I broke down the Detroit Tigers (mainly their bullpen), which eventually led to the Lions draft results. We also talk about Tim Tebow, Urban Meyer, and Justin Fields before we wrapped up our sports segment. Lastly, I asked if we as a society have already merged with technology, or started too. This led to a great conversation and a challenge.  Hope you enjoy. We would love to know what people are thinking or if there's anything you would like to hear us talk about. @Mitteneers on TwitterIf you did like the show, please leave a review or give us a rating on your preferred site for listening. Guests of the show this week: Blake and Dane Grimes, Larry Koepfle and Noah Carson.
The episode starts out with our thoughts on the NFL Draft and how great the Detroit Lions did. We continued with some Marvel talk before jumping into our Bigfoot discussion.
This week we invited a new guest to the show, Dane Grimes. Our conversation began just catching up and around the 12 minute mark we introduced ourselves then moved to our main topic, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. We went over a few major themes of the show up to this point before diving into episode 6.
We start off with a quick update on the Detroit Tigers that takes about 5 minutes. Then we get into episode 5 of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. We took a deeper look at what we thought the show was trying to convey. It was a fun conversation and we let our imaginations run free at times. At the end of the show I (kris) had some questions about the end of The Justice League Snyders cut, then wondered if we'll ever get a DC/ Marvel mash up. Hosted by, Kristofer Carson and Nathan Carson@Mitteneers on twitter
The first 54 minutes of this episode is a breakdown of ep. 2 of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier recorded 2 weeks ago. Then we jump to this week and start like its almost a new episode, but not quite.  Nathan and I give a breakdown of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier ep. 3-4. At hour mark 2:28, Mike, Nathan, and myself started a conversation around the idea of Bigfoot or Sasquatch as you may know it. We definitely have more to talk about on the subject in greater detail later on. We hope you enjoy.@Mitteneers on Twitter  Hosted by Kristofer and Nathan CarsonRecurring guest Mike S.
We recap episode one of the new Falcon an Winter Soldier show from Marvel. I had a hard time remembering some of the episode, my apologies. I give a quick breakdown of the major moves the Lions have made in the free agent market this offseason and what the 2021 season might look like.
Coca-cola sucks. Then we talk about the season finale of WandaVision. Along the way we all get off course for some great conversation. At 35 minutes we hopped over to sports and talked about U of M and MSU basketball, one is rolling and the other is reeling. We covered all the Detroit Teams including Tigers spring training and Blake Griffin on the move. The show comes to an end on some random Football talk.
We recap WandaVison episode 8 then get into some Marvel universe talk and wrap up with a quick sports run down.
We break down episode 7 of Wanda Vision and who’s the next big character we might see in the show. Carson Wentz is an Indianapolis Colt now, but who won the trade?
This week our brother Noah joined us again to discuss episode 6 of Wanda Vision. We talked about Disney firing Gina Carano and other news. Around 49 minutes we switched gears to the world of sports, specifically the NFL. Calvin Johnson is in the Hall of Fame along with a number of Legends. Aaron Rodgers wins MVP but Tom Brady is still the goat.
This week Mike and Collin were back with us. We began with a recap of episode 5 of Wanda Vision. What it could mean for the rest of the Marvel and maybe even the X-men universe. With the Super bowl tomorrow we talked about what it means for Brady and Mahomes. The Detroit Lions have rounded out their coaching staff and it looks like they got it right on paper. Along with some other talk sprinkled in about college football and the upcoming NFL draft.
