Welcome back to The Roll Initiative podcast and thank you for joining us for the second season. A new adventure and a new DM and new characters all to boot. Join us for a brand new story that has yet to have been told.
In the season finale, the team tries to find some way to turn the tide in this hellish battle. The wolves are mostly useless junkies, the giant werewolf skeleton is actually an avatar of a devil, and the demons are just plain rude little guys. As some questions are answered, new possibilities and problems arise for the team. What is Norman and Hugh Man's relationship? Why are these devil's all after Mikey and his Dad so bad? And what the hell is Lawrence's dad doing in the middle of all this? Thank you everyone for taking time out to listen to our project. We have learned a lot making this podcast and are only getting better everyday. We will be back with a second season of CLAW and ORDER but until then, join us soon for a new season, with new characters, a new world and a new DM - Our Stories Untold! COMING SOON! Sound Editing and Dungeon Mastering - Brian Cullum Music and Norman - Eric Steinberg Lawrence - Ryan Rawls Mikey - Mike Smith
Mikey and Rougarou finally have to roll for their temporary crazies and the Insanity Notebook does not disappoint. Surrounded by biker werewolves and some even more undesirable enemies, will the team be able to make it out alive? Can Mikey and Norman be turned into werewolves? Will the Rougarou find the right snack? Find out this week on the Roll Initiative Podcast: Claw and Order.
After the battle with the Reaping Willow the team tries to regroup while Rougarou embarrassed and feeling a bit of the crazies creeping up collects himself, the team tries to short rest, retcons it and then tries to short rest again, Mikey finally calls his dad back and more shenanigans this week on the Roll Initiative Podcast.
The team finds the source of the evil vines leading them through the forest and damn is that one evil tree. Norman goes ape, Mikey tries some stealth and Lawrence still doesn’t like Rougarou even though he’s doing some heavy lifting. Find out what happens in this good ole’ fashioned boss fight this week on Roll Initiative.
The team in pursuit of a hellish entity trying to abscond with some werewolf meat runs into a classic DND trope, Zombies ahhhhh! But these aren’t your average zombies and they are just a taste of what’s to come deeper in the swamp, join us for some horror, some violence, a little comedy and Lawrence’s extreme hate of himself and werewolves this week on Roll Initiative.
The team arrives in the bayou for their next case, and an arc that is going to try some horror and sanity elements within it. Will the guys go nuts? Will the swamp swallow them alive? Why does this place smell like werewolves? And will they be able to save the missing townsfolk? Will the guys stop making more music for Eric to make? Gotta listen to find out.
The team tries to interrogate Yeti, and then arrives back to a work day where shit had already hit the fan. Norman thinks everyone is Hugh-man, Mikey is an olympic wrestler, Lawrence is a real angry boy and MothMan is hella stressed this week on Claw and Order the procedural episode! Next week we go to court! Not!
The team has all the clues, all they need is the killer! Mikey spends time with a cold blooded killer without even realizing it, Norman turns into Lassie and Lawrence pretends like he doesn’t understand him as Yeti reveals his true colors are not white, but green with jealousy and red with blood on his hands (which makes him doo-doo brown in color).
The team finds the murder weapon, a pair of cursed 6 pistols that of course Lawrence wants. Mikey gets confused about whether he’s a devil or a demon. Norman gets eaten by a bush. The DM refuses to let spoons get away with acoustically assaulting our ears and some investigation stuff happens too! PSA - Feeding your cats wet food is cool, way cooler than crystal meth kids.
We are back from a holiday break and the team is still on the hunt for Bigfoot’s killer. Lawrence finally leaves the bar, we call that character growth around here, but falls into a thorny situation. Mikey checks out the game room and does some interior design work, and like a good little detective Sasquatch Norman talks to the suspects and gets some key info. Sorry for the shorter episode this week everyone, we had some tech difficulties, next weeks episode will be a bit longer than usual as we work our way towards solving this case.
The team picks up the remains of their tattered homes, Lawrence is Hungover, Mikey smells like chicken shit and Norman has a Guinea Pig named Gerald? It’s a quick visit to base as the team is sent immediately out on a new mission, there has been a murder at the Sasquatch Convention! Who killed Bigfoot? Will Lawrence find a drink? What happened to Gerald? Join us this week on Claw and Order Special Cryptids Unit.
We are back after a short holiday break and the team is all dealing with their own domestic issues! We’ve got a huge fight card for tonight: Mikey vs A Devil, Norman vs SkellyMan, Werewolf vs Werewolf and the Main Event all of us VS the mechanics of the game. It’s Fight Night! Ding Ding let’s get it on!
Episode 11 - Home Invasion

Episode 11 - Home Invasion

2023-11-1201:31:50

The team after arriving back at base does some light drinking and case file research. Norman finds himself to be highly redacted, Mikey realizes he may have left his dads pager in Ohio and Lawrence detects some kind of family reunion. Roll perception please.
The team live their lives a quarter mile at a time and it’s all about family, so Jerry the Frogman is taking them to meet his and his whole village. Unfortunately an illusion is waiting for them, masking a great tragedy, and an odd observer. They later get back to base in time for their John Wick suit makeovers they have been begging for. Big thanks to Ryan’s chair for sitting in on another session so we could finish this harrowing arc.
