Tim Y. Co-hosts this interview with Kaleb, who is advocating for the Pro-life position. Impressively, Kaleb is a well-spoken 20 year old, who doesn't use religion to back up his arguments. He did almost make us change our stance, but there was something he still didn't have an explanation for: How can you in good conscience EVER tell someone else what they can do with their own body? However, we admit that if the systems were set up to benefit the mother and child, society would become more pro-life organically, because the quality of life would be there!Follow me on Tiktok @the.secular.parachute.podcast or on Twitter @hollygenneroTSP.
We discuss what's acceptable in terms of public education, and how religion shapes our political ideology. We reminisce about our time in high school- and the second hand trauma endured by being in a large sea of evangelicals. We touch a bit on Jerry Falwell and how the Flavians invented Christ.
This is my 12 step guide to helping theists convert atheists/agnostics in an appropriate and kind manner. These are legitimate, in good faith ideas- and perhaps food for thought.
It's the age old question... is it instinct? Societal? Or Devine?
We discuss current events in public education and the influx of religious influence in making decisions. Are you a tax payer? Or a parent? GET INVOLVED before it's too late.
We answer 31 questions from Matt Slick, Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry. Some of these questions are deep.
In this weeks episode we examine statistics in raising children religious and raising them secular.Pros and Cons of both.Data Used:-Harvard University-Boston University-University of Kentucky-Psyche Central-QZ.com-The Guardian
We explore how rape culture emerged from the 1990 purity culture campaign, and how we are still feeling the effects of it in our society as white evangelicals cling to it as a last resort.
A Christian asks the same questions of those who are not religious. I answer them to the best of my ability. There's no "gotcha" moment, I just want to spread awareness and acceptance.
We discuss what it's like being an atheist with a special needs child- how to accept it without the help of religious groups, or prayer.
Here we explore this new narrative that churches and politicians are using in order to create divisions, and even alienate some of their followers. Instead of using Christ as an example, and truly live by his teachings- They are weaponizing their faith to seemingly get away with pushing through harmful rhetoric, laws, and hatred. Spoiler Alert- 🚨 The United States is still one of the safest countries to be openly christian in. They will most likely never experience the true persecution they have in other countries. Sources:Relevant MagazineChristianPost.comReligionNews.comStandingforfreedom.com
