The Strongest Happiest people know how to “keep it moving” when things get tough and that’s for the foundation for growth happiness and becoming a better person. No matter what happens in life you are going to experience problems, challenges and just hard times. The only way we get through them become better is by moving ‘through’ them. We can’t sometimes change them or do anything about the outcome, but when we stop doing what we are can control that’s when things control us and life runs away. It was great to have good friend Matt Young ex-professional footballer now turned coach who is helping many many people become better within themselves Part of doing this podcast was to put out a good message to make people more aware before I believe self-development is and keep people away from coaches that are doing nothing but just praying on peoples vulnerability for profit and gain It was refreshing to speak to Matt, he’s a great guy and integral person and definitely knows how to unleash his own potential and this was another great episode with someone that you can get some value and learn from. Are you living with purpose discipline and gratitude? For many years I lived without the above and I felt pretty miserable, when I understood the above and started living them, I started to enjoy my life more, and even when you face problems or challenges I still maintained a sense of fulfilment. You haven’t got to have everything figured out to live with purpose, and you haven’t got to know everything to have the discipline it’s a basic necessity of actions that we must do to achieve a result. Taking personal responsibility is one the biggest underrated traits anyone can ever have. In fact, it is absolutely necessary in order to grow learn move forwards and also be a good leader. Go on Social media and type in #SelfDevelopment or #Coaching and you will find a plethora of people selling Courses and Coaching on Self Development and mostly it is people just trying to make money Actually trying to help people This is a problem in this space and something that makes a mockery of good people trying to actually do good In a world of social media and direct attention marketing, it’s easy to lure people in and spend their hard-earned money using nicely crafted images, media, and language A lot of the time people will spend money and fall into the trap of not really working on themselves as they really need in hope of buying a quick fix or a set to their problems, and ultimately being out of pocket. “Health” what is it?! these days this word is probably the most confused, manipulated, and misunderstood the meaning and because of this, I believe that it is actually detrimental to people's wellbeing! The meaning of what Healthy is a lot simpler than people think, the problem we have in society today, is that no one really gets a true insight into how to optimise their health well-being or fitness which leads to confusion, people being manipulated around it for the wrong reasons - mainly for profit! ultimately leading to people finding out for themselves. There needs to be more clarity around the basics of Health, how to improve it and unfortunately, our education system and leadership are not doing enough! How do you feel when you Compromise on your principles? The Self Development project is back stronger and more purposeful than ever I started this a year ago with the Aim to put out as much value and information about Improving your Health Self Awareness and Encouraging Growth Mindset I want to Improve the Culture around this as there is a lot of garbage online and ultimately All of the Above will Improve Mental Health which is the overall mission! My aim now is to still keep this focus however I want to encourage more Awareness around standing up to the current Narrative around Health and also how we are being manipulated Our Leadership is destroying the Mental Health of people by the Confusion it is putting within the public which is making Society weaker and destroying our Country and the future of our generation. Self Development is a great thing that everyone needs to do in order to Grow, Optmise their life, health, wellbeing, and overall live a fulfilled life. The Problem is, there is a huge market in Self Development, consisting of a Plethora of Information, Coaches, Courses, and Google information, some of it is good however a lot of its designed to take your money and not do anything more than leave you where you started and out of pocket. Nobody is going to believe in you until after you do what you set out to do! Stop wasting time and energy on convincing people and instead into building a life that speaks for itself. You dont need anyones belief, just execute on the work. If you execute on the work you'll become a believer out of everyone, most Importantly yourself...because the results will be there! "I don't Know , I need Help" probably one of the most important words anyone can ask I heard this on a podcast recently and it really resonated and I had to speak on this. Sometimes asking for help or being uncertain causes us fear uncertainty which can hold back from taking a step forward, this can be through fear, ego or sometimes your worried about what others might say.
