The September Island Podcast

The September Island Podcast is a chance for bandmates Isaac Maruyama, Patrick Hunner, Paul Moris, and Ryan Pedersen to catch up every few months with what's been going on in each other's lives and what we hope to get out of them before the next episode.

TSIP #1: January 2024

The September Island boys kick off a new version of the podcast and misattribute a few quotes from Dead Poets Society along the way. "I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms, and, if it proved to be mean, why then to get the whole and genuine meanness of it, and publish its meanness to the world; or if it were sublime, to know it by experience, and be able to give a true account of it in my next excursion." — Henry David Thoreau "I too am not a bit tamed, I too am untranslatable, I sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world." — Walt Whitman
