A century after the Tulsa Race Massacre, Seeds of Greenwood explores how today’s generation is being planted and nurtured within the fertile soil of Tulsa’s historic Greenwood District. The film follows the birth of the Thunder’s innovative after-school program, Thunder Fellows, and the inspirational journeys of students in the inaugural class. The Oklahoma City Thunder and CAA Sports developed the concept for Thunder Fellows following the murder of George Floyd and just prior to the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre.“Thunder Fellows’ curriculum equips Black high school students in Tulsa with knowledge, skills and connections that can lead to careers in professional sports, entertainment and technology,” said Cedric Ikpo, Thunder Fellows executive director. “It’s exciting to share on film what we’ve seen every day in this first year - how Thunder Fellows is making a difference for these kids and the community.”For the project, OKC Thunder Films partnered with Notis Studios, a Black-owned film and music production company located in northeast Oklahoma City. Notis used local talent to compose and record four original songs for the film. Their songs Greenwood Roads, Good Morning, Look Out World, and My Life Be Like have a strong rhythm and blues vibe with compelling lyrics that capture the resilient nature of the Greenwood District and the promise of the Thunder Fellows students. The four songs will be available for streaming and download on Spotify, Apple Music and other services in the coming days.

VH1's hit series Black Ink Crew: New York and Black Ink Crew: Compton return for all new episodes beginning Monday, February 21, 2022. Ceaser is accomplishing his dream of creating an empire with seven shops open across the U.S.  In addition to being a successful businessman, he continues to connect with the community by implementing social impact efforts that uplift and empower others.  This season, Ceaser brings the crew back to New York after their Atlanta residency to prove they are stronger together and to give back to the community. In his personal life, he decides that he cannot remain silent while his family drama unfolds in the media for the world to see.

Shining Stars I decided to create an air check of The Midday Party from today, in case you missed it. It's the last day of the month, the first month of 2022, and I know you are killing your goals!!! Well I wanted to share this as a testament to me showing you that it can be done. No matter what you are facing, prepare on a daily! If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready! Some of my goals for this year that I've managed to accomplish were:  Branching out into the OKC market (Hosting, Networking, Etc) Adequately show prepping Reclaiming my time Being firm on my price Only 31 days in and I've done so much...Some other things are in the works but until the mission(s) is complete I have to keep it on the hush! Take a listen, laugh and find your take away to get you to your next step in achieving your goals!
