Dark and surreal and twisted and beautiful, but absolutely hilarious at the same time. I don't want to say too much for fear of spoilers, but it just gets better as it goes along. The sheer artistry in the way it builds will lodge it so deeply in your brain that you'll never be able to pick it out, even with the most delicate of mind-tweezers - and that is very much a good thing.

This reminds me of a book by Kazuo Ishiguro: 'The Unconsoled'. Kind of genius, really.
