The Sinner After Show Podcast

Jamie commits his third murder in this season finale and this time it’s personal-he murders Det. Ambroses’s direct supervisor-Captain Morris. Inside the deceased Captain Morris’s pocket is another origami fortune teller with the names of the 3 other people who are closest to Det.Ambrose-Sonya, Eli and Melanie. Captain Morris’s name is there too but already crossed out. Harry knows this means that Jamie is going after his family. Jamie appears in Sonya’s house by sneaking through the back door. Harry alerted Sonya earlier to leave her home as he suspected Jamie would show up to harm her, but she doesn’t heed his advice. Jamie arrives and tries to attack Sonya but he gets away once Sonya alerts the police. Jamie flees back to his home with Leela, where he sees her through the back sliding glass door. Leela approaches the glass door and has a final moment with Jamie, seemingly to say goodbye. Jamie calls Harry from Eli’s phone and tells him to come back to his house alone where he & Eli are. Jamie, with a gun to Eli’s head, tells Harry to use the origami fortune teller to determine his grandsons fate, Harry refuses and fights to get the gun away from Jamie and gets shot in the side. Harry manages to get his own gun out of his safe & meets Jamie back in the kitchen. Jamie drops his weapon & Harry shoots Jamie in the stomach. Jamie, while taking his last breaths, tells Harry that he is scared to die. Harry soothes him & holds his hand until Jamie’s last breath. In this episode we dive deeper into Jaimie and Nick's relationship in college and learn more why they are so close. Jaimie admits to Leela that he actually committed the murder. Jamie confesses to killing the medium to Detective Ambrose. He is interrogated by Det. Jones who has been assigned to the murder case. Jamie lies & with the help of Harry, Det. Jones finds the holes in his story but also finds that Harry may be a suspect.Sonya finds Leela & tells her what Jamie has been up to which pushes Leela to kick Jamie out. Finally, Jamie makes a visit to Harry’s home and meets his grandson, this angered Harry & caused his true colors to come out. This episode opens with Jamie standing on the  roof of a building prepared to jump when Ambrose finds him. Jamie elects not to end his life...yet.  Ambrose decides to stay with Jamie for the rest of the night to ensure Jamie's safety & the safety of others. First stop-the restaurant downstairs where they meet a group of partiers. Jamie encourages everyone to head upstairs where he has another horrific hallucination. The last stop was at a house party a former student of Jamies invites him to, where he meets a medium who  knows that Nick is still with him. This frightens Jamie & pushes him to leave. He invites his student to join him & takes her on a frightening high speed chase that could end in death but doesn't. In the final scene we see the medium has been killed. In Season 3 Episode 3 Jamies hallucinations continue & we come to discover his feelings regarding morality,God & death. Jamie gets triggered from many circumstances in this episode including someone double parking, his student stressing & continuing to be unhappy to get into a good school & his son's birth. We also discover more of Jamie’s troubled past with him assaulting his college roommate & his alignment with theology regarding being superhuman. At the end of the episode, Jamie frantically contacts Det.Ambrose for help with his mental state, Det Ambrose takes Jamie to a mental hospital for an evaluation but after speaking with the doctor Jamie escapes. In Episode 2 Season 3, Jamie’s hallucinations with Nick intensify. Interestingly enough, Jamie did meet with Nick prior to him showing up unexpectedly at Jamie’s house. We learn that Jamie isn’t as innocent as we thought since he initiated their reunion. James expresses his toxic relationship with Nick. Leela starts to pick up on Jamie’s weird tendencies and behavior and starts to question him. Sonya dIscovers a open grave on her property. The episode concludes with Jamie choking an elderly patient as the hallucination of Nick haunts him.
