On February 15th, 2023, after a year on the run, Eva Millard was apprehended in California by US Marshals Service. Eva was then taken into custody at the San Louis Obispo Sheriff's Office detention center. Eva then had an extradition hearing in California where she waived extradition agreeing to be extradited back to Arkansas. Eva Millard was extradited back to Arkansas on March 2nd, 2023. According to the Van Buren, Arkansas police department's incident reports for November 8, 2018, officer Wesley Marsh identified 4 locations in the home that contained possible blood evidence. Officer Johnathan Wear then collected swabs from two of those four locations. Yet, somehow, there are more swab entries in evidence than swabs admitted to be collected on the 8th.
