Running a small business during the often slow summertime can be difficult. Still, instead of getting discouraged, I encourage you to consider what you can do to prepare for the holiday season. The recent changes to Instagram have the small business community in an uproar. Many have had conversations about leaving the platform for good, while others have done what I believe is the best solution: Making peace with the platform. You see, I think that Instagram is experiencing an identity crisis. The platform has gone from a Creator First Channel to Distribution First Channel and right back again. Now Instagram is trying to find its way back to being creator-oriented without leaving everyone behind. My advice to you, give the platform time to finish making some adjustments, but always maintain your marketing diversified.
