The thoughts and opinions expressed by our contributors are not necessarily those held by Something to Say.Seth grew up in an unhappy and abusive household. At 10 years of age he found an escape to the house of an older man who invited him to play video games and have pizza - a "kids paradise".. but before long the touching started, and this progressed to expose Seth to sexual experiences no child should be put through. When, at 15, a friend opened up that he too had been touched by this man, they went together to report him to the police.Hear Seth's brave story and his desire to support other victims to recognise the power in speaking out. He wants others to learn to focus on healing themselves, as he has learnt to do for himself. The views and opinions expressed by content providers to our channel are not necessary those held by Something to Say.To find Seth,Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gobeyondtheshadows/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GoBeyondTheShadows To see more - https://jeremyindika.com/stories/Official website - https://somethingtosayofficial.com/To share your story - https://jeremyindika.com/contact/#form-something Here's how you can support our mission:✅Follow our page for inspiring content and updates👕 Wear our merch to help start conversations💚Donate to fuel our efforts🔐 Sign up for exclusive and early access content on Patreon💬 Like, comment, and share our posts to spread the message of survivor support and community empowerment.  Instagram: www.instagram.com/somethingtosayofficialFacebook: www.facebook.com/somethingtosayofficial1LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/something-to-say1TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@somethingtosayofficial Merchandise: https://somethingtosayofficial.com/collections/allJoin our Patreon for extra content and early access: https://patreon.com/SomethingtoSay We want change and won’t stop.Join our Patreon for extra content and early access: https://patreon.com/SomethingtoSayTo follow us on social media;Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/somethingtosayofficialFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/somethingtosayofficial1LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/something-to-say1TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@somethingtosayofficial Hosted on Acast. A childhood consumed by abuse, an adulthood transformed by self-compassion

Content warning: This video contains themes of sexual abuse. If you think it may be triggering for you please take care when listening. The thoughts and opinions expressed by our contributors are not necessarily those held by Something to Say.Violet's earliest childhood memory is of being abused. She was prostituted by her mother from a young age, then "bought" by her grandfather to suffer yet more.At some point, she turned the page, and started writing her own story. She now has an organisation that supports others who have suffered. This is a heartbreakingly honest story, from a woman who has found hope where we might assume there was none to be found. As Violet says, "As long as you are breathing, there is hope".The views and opinions expressed by content providers to our channel are not necessary those held by Something to Say.To connect with Violet;https://coloryourstoryontomine.com/https://www.facebook.com/newbornviolethttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088317495635"Transforming pain into compassion is the alchemy of the soul, where wounds become wisdom and empathy blooms from the depths of our own suffering."- Violet Newborn. To see more - https://jeremyindika.com/stories/Official website - https://somethingtosayofficial.com/To share your story - https://jeremyindika.com/contact/#form-something Here's how you can support our mission:✅Follow our page for inspiring content and updates👕 Wear our merch to help start conversations💚Donate to fuel our efforts🔐 Sign up for exclusive and early access content on Patreon💬 Like, comment, and share our posts to spread the message of survivor support and community empowerment.  Instagram: www.instagram.com/somethingtosayofficialFacebook: www.facebook.com/somethingtosayofficial1LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/something-to-say1TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@somethingtosayofficial Merchandise: https://somethingtosayofficial.com/collections/allJoin our Patreon for extra content and early access: https://patreon.com/SomethingtoSay We want change and won’t stop.Join our Patreon for extra content and early access: https://patreon.com/SomethingtoSayTo follow us on social media;Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/somethingtosayofficialFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/somethingtosayofficial1LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/something-to-say1TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@somethingtosayofficial Hosted on Acast.
