Today the boys welcome Maggie Exum to talk about the joys of late night culinary expeditions.
Today, the guys are joined by a department veteran, Michael Chapman. The trio discuss the Oscars and a recent trip to exotic Hattiesburg, Mississippi. There’s also brand-new technical catastrophes including incorrect mic placement leaving Pottsie too loud and Jackson too quiet (nothing new there) and random tapping noises throughout because Pottsie, who talks with his hands, is holding a pen.
The guys roll out a brand new season of the most culturally defining, genre defying and intellectually stimulating podcast in the history of West Tennessee private education.
This week, Daniel and Jackson fully evoke the name of this podcast, spewing out all their favorite and least favorite movies, TV shows, etc., with special guest, Caleb Morgan. Talking points include: Die Hard, CW shows, JJ Abrams, the future of streaming and more.
On today’s episode of “The Spew,” the guys continue their conversation with Jonathan Cooper and discuss “The Joker” and other films that relate. Cooper is also given a short opportunity to make his definitive case for the existence of comic book films.
On today’s episode, the guys welcome Daniel’s roommate Jonathan Cooper to the show. Here lies the first half of their conversation, dealing with Sam Raimi and his spectacularly campy horror classic, “The Evil Dead.”
Today the guys continue to talk about content that fits the Halloween mood, including a short film festival and the film “Dead Silence.” This episode also features rants about the English language and a 3rd grade-level math tangent (pun intended).
Today, Daniel and Jackson come to the conclusion that mistakes are funnier when you acknowledge their existence. For example, the guys ran into technical issues with the audio for today’s episode, and at times it sounds as if they are trying to talk through ten fans at once, and it has now been acknowledged. Today also marks the beginning of appropriately October themed discussions on The Spew.
On today’s episode of The Spew, Daniel and Jackson welcome the show’s first ever guest, professor Ted Kluck. What follows is a conversation about growing up as preacher’s kids and the films that matter to different generations.
On today’s episode of The Spew, Daniel continues to talk over Jackson while they discuss their unpopular movie opinions. The guys also suffer through strange chip flavors and get confused over the breeds of monkeys.
In this episode Daniel and Jackson bring you a heavily edited version of their hour long conversation concerning “IT Chapter 2.” (SPOILER WARNING)

On today’s episode of “The Spew,” we learn that Daniel has no idea how music terminology works and that Jackson needs to learn how to avoid letting the viewer hear every sound his mouth makes. Originally intended to be a practice episode, the following half hour features thoughts on the films “Blinded by the Light” and “Yesterday” and the music of Bruce Springsteen.
