For the May 2023 edition, we dive into social media in today's world with Crysti Couture. From Crysti's LinkedIn Bio- I'm a Social Media Strategist certified by the National Institute for Social Media, the only certifying body in the field of social media to develop its certification examination using the official Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing. Over the years, I have primarily worked within the tourism and hospitality industry, however, I've also worked with clients whose industries are in retail, politics, and non-profit causes.
Adam Oakey grew up in Albuquerque’s rough and tumble South Valley, where he learned at a young age not only did he have to fight but he loved and was good at it. Partying, robbing drug dealers, and fighting professionally in a cage was what he did when he wasn’t in Juvie or prison.  He got a break of a lifetime and never looked back, earning a Gracie Barra BJJ black belt and a law degree and now he’s known as The Blackbelt Lawyer.
Well, the intent was not to have two law enforcement-related episodes in a row but here we are. My guest today is a friend of almost 30 years, who I met when we worked as bouncers at nightclubs a few doors down from each other while we were both college students.  Ted is a lifelong metalhead and a lover of fine craft beers. Most important to this episode is he is a Lt. with the USCP who, along with our brothers and sisters in blue, engaged in hours-long hand-to-hand combat with insurrectionists on January 6, 2021. It wasn’t that long ago we thought we’d have to wait until he retired to do this interview, but welcome Ted Hopkins to the Square Peg Podcast.
