This week on Vegas Never Sleeps, the topic is dining. From the authentic Italian food of the vintage days, there is the award winning Bootlegger Bistro that was featured on Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. You'll meet the folks that run this legendary restaurant---Lorraine Hunt and Dennis Bono. Later in the show, we will visit a new and eclectic restaurant on the strip--Jaburritos. With a combination of Japanese & Mexican cuisine, sushi burritos are the new hit in town! Also joining us is sports writer & author Rob Miech, to talk about his book Phenom:The Making of Bryce Harper that looks at the rise of Vegas ball player. And finally, our Vegas Insider Scott Roeben, and a visit to the Casino Legends Hall of Fame to talk about historic dining before celebrity chefs were around.
This week we visit a legendary restaurant Emeril's New Orleans Fish House and talk with new chef, Jean Paul Labadie. Jean Paul recently won Extreme Chef on the Food Network, and was a judge on Throwdown with Bobby Flay. You'll meet an entertainer, comic and author that seems to do everything---Andy Martello.
