Description
The success series podcast is all about the secrets, recipes, and philosophies of some of the world’s most famous and successful people—composers, actors, actresses, entrepreneurs, authors, painters, investors, philosophers, journalists, scientists, and so on. Each episode features one person, and typically 7-10 pieces of advice.
These podcasts don't feature interviews done by us; instead we comb the interwebs for any recordings and audio clips that already exist, analyse them, and then separate the wheat from the chaff. These podcasts are the wheat.

’Tis time for another Game of Thrones star to be the subject of one of our episodes. Yes, today show features advice from the great Jon Snow — or, as he is known in real life, Kit Harington.
Kit, whose actual name is Christopher, is an English actor and producer. Most of you will know him from Game of Thrones, in which, since day one, played the role of Jon Snow, who today, is the main character. 2017 saw the release of the penultimate season. The series will conclude with its eighth season in 2019.
If rumour is correct — and very plausible rumour at that — his role in this series, which is one of the most successful TV series ever, has made him one of the highest earning TV actors in the world: in 2017 Kit reportedly earned £2 million per episode. Not bad, ey?
His other films include Pompeii, Silent Hill: Revelation, playing the voice of Eret in How to Train your Dragon 2, and Testament of Youth. At just 31 years of age, it seems there is plenty more to come from the man.

Jordan Peterson. Surely you know who he is by now? Let this be an intro to those who are unfamiliar, and a reminder to those who are. He is a clinical psychologist with over two decades of deep-in-the-trenches experience; a tenured professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto; and a truly brilliant, remarkably well-learned, precisely-spoken and very deep character. Ever since his first podcast with Joe Rogan back in late 2016, he has been somewhat of an internet sensation—but a sensation that in no way resembles the typical, internet sensation. In that podcast he discussed a couple of things that had recently put him in the spotlight: one was his opposition to Canadian laws ordering people do address people by their freely chosen pronouns (and there were something like 70 to learn); and the other was how he had been attacked, bordering on the physical, by a number of ignoramus university students who were trying to destroy his reputation: the irony, course, is because the exchange was recorded, they caused his reputation grow rather exponentially.
Whilst the podcast was originally about that, as Jordan spoke to Joe, it became obvious to listeners that there was much more to this man than the typical guest, much, much more. Fast track to today and he has hundreds of millions of views on Youtube, a thriving Patreon account, a massive and loyal following on a number of different platforms across the web, a new best-selling book, and a different scale of responsibility; but it is a responsibility that he both deserves and can handle. Jordan’s lectures and books have changed the lives of, by now, millions of people—heck, just listening to one of his podcasts opens your eyes and juices you into taking action—as you’re about to find out.
Seen as there is so much out there from Jordan—not about him, but actually from the man himself—you would think distilling some of it down into a short podcast would be a walk in the park; but that would be a mistake. It seems that everything Jordan says has utility—and he has a lot to say, and has said a lot, which means that discrimination is difficult. Nevertheless, we have produced something for you, which we think will be very helpful: even if you listen to only 1/3.

Who is the world’ greatest footballer — now, and ever? Well, it seems everyone you ask has a different opinion: you’ll hear Messi, Neymar, Kane, Ronaldo, Zidane, Cantona, Best, Ronaldinho, Maradona, Hazard, Iniesta, Pele, Charlton, and so on, and so on. But whatever the opinion if these people, all of them, deep down they cannot deny the genius of a man we have the pleasure of witnessing on our screens every week: the portuguese superstar and Real Madrid frontman, Cristiano Ronaldo. In my opinion, he is the best today and the best to ever grace the field: the unique combination of talent, insane work ethic, grit, charisma, confidence, professionalism and unmatched consistency, it is hard to argue, puts him ahead of the other most popular name given, Lionel Messi.
After spending several years at Manchester United, under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson, where he became a superstar, he moved to Real Madrid in 2009 for what at the time was a world-record fee, £80 million.
At 33 years of age, he doesn’t appear to be slowing down. He has said, in the past, that body permitting, he would play into his forties. Only time will tell.

Today’s show features words of wisdom from the mighty Peter Dinklage. If you don’t know the name, you’ll certainly know the face. You may know him as the children’s book agent from the film Elf, alongside Will Ferrell, and memorable seen in which he grabbed Will (or rather, Elf) around the neck and tried to strangle him. You may know him as Bulivar Trask from X-Men; Trumpkin, from The Chronicles of Narnia; or as Eddie Plant, from Pixels. If you haven’t watched any of these movies, and know not of Game of Thrones, then, well, it’s very likely that you are one of Rick Sanchez’s (from Rick and Morty) alien friends from another Galaxy: in which case, go watch Game of Thrones. If you aren’t an alien, then for just how long have you been hiding under a rock. Why Game of Thrones? because it is this show, in which he plays the role of Tyrion Lannister, that so many people have come to love Peter Dinklage.
He has quite an intriguing life story to tell, and you’ll hear quite a bit of it in this podcast; but why you want to hear this is not just for his propensity for storytelling, polarising jokes and distinctive voice, it is because buried in his stories are some very useful home truths, lessons, and lots of practical wisdom. What’s more, because of the way he delivers, they will stick in your head.

If you know not of The Big Bang Theory, then it is possible you have suffered, in recent years, a quite astonishing bout of amnesia. No, not the scientific theory—you know, about how the world began—but the TV show. If you haven’t watched any of the episodes, then no doubt you will have heard about it. Well, the lead actor in that show is Jim Parsons, who plays the one with the IQ of 187, the boaster, the prodigy, the socially inept, Sheldon Cooper; he is also, incidentally, the subject of today’s show.
It may come as a surprise to you that in real life, Jim is not a theoretical physicist researching quantum mechanics and string theory; and nor, thankfully, is he as socially incapable as the man he plays on the screen. For if he was, this episode would not have been possible—and well, you would have missed out on some powerful words of encouragement and practical advice, minus the usual pontification.
For this role as Sheldon, Jim has received four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor.
Here is, speaking about the illusion of a perfect time, the problems with comparing success, taking risks, true confidence, and the benefits of critique.

Today’s show features a few dope lowdowns from Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and entrepreneur, Aubrey Graham — or as you may know him, Drake.
Some of his most popular songs include One Dance, Passionfruit, and What’s My Name?.
He is somewhat of a record breaker, with the most charted songs (154) among solo artists in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 songs in a single week (24), the most time on the Hot 100 (431 weeks) and the most Hot 100 debuts in a week (21) Drake also has the most number one singles on the Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B and Rhythmic Charts. Alongside his Grammy Award wins, Drake has won three Juno Awards and six American Music Awards, as well as a record thirteen Billboard Music Awards, while also being one of the most acclaimed rappers of the 21st century.
His music, whilst proving the bulk of his current estimated net worth of $90 million, is not the only pie he has his fingers in: he also has a record label, a clothing line, his own whiskey, restaurant, and he is the global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors.

We’ve done a podcast about her husband, and we’ve done the few female artists that come within an inch of her success, popularity and iconic status. Now it’s time for the women herself. I am taking, of course, about the American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress, Beyoncé. In 2018 it does seem like she has been around forever; but at only 36, there is certainly more to come. But what has she done in those years? Well, a better question would be, what hasn’t she done?
She rose to fame in the late 90s as lead singer of the girl-group Destiny’s Child, which was managed by her father, Mathew Knowles. The group became one of the world’s best-selling girl groups in history. A temporary break saw Beyoncé’s theatrical film debut in Austin Powers, and the release of her debut album, Dangerously in Love, in 2003. If there was ever a pertinent case for the phrase, ’the rest, as they say, is history’, it is this one. Since this album she has gone on to sell a number of wildly successful albums, including I Am… Sasha Fierce, and her most recent, Lemonade.
Almost every millennial can bang out a Beyoncé to 90% accuracy at the drop of a hat, and the reason is that so many of her songs have been massive hits; they are also memorable, uplifting, empowering and timeless. They include All The Single Ladies, Halo, Sweet Dreams, Deja Vu, Beautiful Liar, Irreplaceable, and Crazy In Love.
Throughout her career, she has sold an estimated 100 million records — and that’s not including the 60 million records with the group Destiny’s Child. This solidifies her name as one of the best-selling music artists in history. She has 20 Grammy’s and 24 MTV Video Awards to her name, and is the most nominated artists in history in each of them.

We’ve done his right-hand man, Charlie Munger, now it’s time for the man himself. Yes, today’s show is about the wise words of many times-crowned the world’s richest man and legendary investor, Warren Buffet. He is the chairman of Berkshire Hathaway and currently has an estimated net worth of about $85 billion. Over the years—in the format of personal interviews, exclusive documentaries, or his famous Berkshire annual meetups, where he is joined by Charlie Munger—he has given shedloads of advice, and whilst most of it is business/career specific, the overlap onto other areas of life, as you’ll hear, is quite significant.
When asked how he would like to be remembered, Warren always replies ’teacher’: despite being the man who made more money than almost anyone—and out of his armchair—and the man who built one of the most successful conglomerates ever, he wants his legacy to first and foremost to be that of a teacher. Hence, he has given many speeches and revealing interviews over the years. He appears to operate on quite an admirable philosophy: he shares his secrets (well, most of them) despite the risk of competition; and in doing he basically is saying, yes, I can still be better at it than you. Of course, he doesn’t offer all his secrets—such as the precise formula he uses to calculate a company’s worth—but he does offer a large proportion of them. Despite this, he has and continues to outperform pretty much everybody else on the field.
Warren is also a notable philanthropist, having pledged to give away 99 percent of his gigantic fortune to philanthropic causes, primarily via the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

It seems we all know about today’s guest — both for good reasons and bad. He is married to Kim Kardashian; he has a spitting rivalry with Taylor Swift, and somewhat of a beef with Jay-Z and Drake; he calls himself the Steve Jobs of music, and has compared himself to the likes of Einstein and Leonardo Da Vinci. He is a controversial figure, yes, but he has also has talent, and a fantastic work ethic; and, as so often happens when you combine these factors, we have a Marmite effect. Some people love him; some hate him. He is, of course, Kanye West.
Some of his most successful songs include Gold Digger, Heartless, Mercy, and Power. He has an apparent net worth of about $140 million, and the likelihood of that skyrocketing over the next few years is rather high, thanks to a mega-bucks deal with Adidas for his clothing line, Yeezy, which he started in 2015.
What follows are 7 lessons from Kanye, including about how we deals with hate, about the power of speaking your own mind, walking the talk, following your dreams and appreciating every moment.
