Dr. Nicole Apelian: Being prepared for Wilderness Survival

On this episode I talk with Dr. Nicole Apelian!  Nicole is a 2 time participant on History Channel's hit series "Alone", and an expert in wilderness survival.  In season 2 she survived 57 days on the coast of Vancouver Island in the middle of winter with minimal equipment.  Dr. Apelian has also spent a fair amount of time in Africa learning survival skills such as wild foraging and bird language from tribespeople.  Her knowledge and skills such as long term wilderness survival, herbal medicine, wild foraging, and trapping has led her on many journeys.  I think this interview will not only help you be better prepared for any survival situation you may find yourself in, but also is full of laughs and valuable information. Please visit www.nicoleapelian.com to follow Dr. Apelian's blog, lists for tool bags, and upcoming classes and events.  Also find her on Facebook and Instagram to follow along as she travels the world honing skills and teaching others.
