I meet up with Jeff not so long along and I could see he was hungry. I made the mistake of sharing my mobile number with Jeff and from there on, he has been relentless in wanting to learn and attending networking sessions.   I remembered when he got his first deal which we talk about in this episode. I meet up with Ricardo Van Rooi who is an author, property investor and runs a digital marketing company. Ricardo launched his best selling book 7 Simple Steps Getting PAID Doing What You Love.  In his book he talks about that everyone has what it takes to be successful and we all have it locked inside of us. The book covers Ricardos' up bring in poverty and how he perceived  to be who he is today and the technics he used.  We spoke about many thing, how rich people think and what they do. We covered family, faith, property investing and coaching and plenty more. In this episode I meet up with two brothers, Neo and Lebo founders of Nong Wealth who are making deals and focusing on educating others in Soweto.   Lebo's mindset was changed forever when he read Rich Dad Poor Dad from Robert Kiyosaki when he was only grade 11 and he went on pursued his brother about property and since then they have been pushing hard in learning from all sorts of people and implementing on the ground.   I give the boys a thumbs up as they discussed two deals one that didn't work and they was great learning from it. I speak to Ezra Rasethe is the Founder and CEO of Infinite-Property. Ezra new from young that he wanted to be rich but he did not know how, so he ventured into business but failed. I speak to Witness Mdaka who is the Founder and CEO of Quality Growth International. Witness started off is journey at a young age of 19 when his mother gave him mandate to manage their 1st tenants in Thembisa to manage and own just below 200 tenants.   His game changed when he was on honeymoon and was exposed to a different experience of offering accommodation. Witness surrounds himself with mentors and is constantly exposing himself to new things in the business and his lifestyle to learn from.  We speak about the importance of lifestyle, investing when you are young and why it is important to invest for cash flow and also appreciation.    My take away after our chat in this episode is:  By providing housing, its not only about providing housing. Marisia Robus is the only female practicing ITC Certified Roof Inspector in the country. Across SA their are only two females who are certified. Not only is she certified and is still practicing, she also practice with her father who is also certified but a super veteran in the industry.  Marisia's father, Albert van Wyk is the author of  book Proud Home Owner a book that has become a go to for me as I am not a maintenance guy by nature. Albert wrote the book from his wealthy of knowledge he built from   starting his construction company in 1973, which did well to a point were some of his houses he built were featured on the TV program “Top Billing”.   Marisia has always been passionate about property from a young age but her father used to think she was better off not being on construction sites. Times have changed and she now runs the business with her father who is semi-retired and she loves her practice.
