Season 13, Episode 138 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest to come out on the Pittsburgh Steelers when it comes to the team’s OTA practices these last few days. We talk quite a bit about the rookie cornerbacks, Joey Porter Jr. and Cory Trice Jr., in addition to discussing things that veteran cornerback Patrick Peterson has said these last few days. Steelers tackle Dan Moore Jr. is getting practice snaps on the right side in OTAs, so we discuss that bit of news. We also discuss what else is newsworthy concerning the Steelers now that their second week of OTA practices has concluded. We talk some about three position groups we feel the team could quite possibly address moving forward into the summer. November 12, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 49 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers making several transactions since our last show with one of those being the signing of CB Asante Samuel Jr. to the team's practice squad. After going over all of the recent transactions, that also includes rookie QB Will Howard being activated to the 53-man roster from the Reserve/Injured list, Alex and I talk about what kind of player the Steelers are getting in Samuel. We also discuss the possibility of Samuel making his Steelers debut as early as Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers will have several notable injured players worth tracking these next few days, so Alex and I run through that list based on the information that HC Mike Tomlin provided on Tuesday during his weekly press conference. As usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable talking points that came out of Tomlin Tuesday. We discuss what Tomlin had to say about S Jalen Ramsey, the Week 10 usage of RB Jaylen Warren, the possibility of WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling getting elevated sooner rather than later, and much more. November 10, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 48 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 10 Sunday night road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday night inactive list, the few injuries sustained by the Steelers in their 25-10 loss to the Chargers, and the few transactions the team has made since our Friday show. The Steelers played very poorly on offense against the Chargers and QB Aaron Rodgers had a big hand in that. We discuss the offensive woes the Steelers had against the Chargers and that includes the unit’s ineffectiveness on third downs and the inability to produce explosive plays. We discuss a few huge misses that Rodgers had down the field and the running game only had just a few bright spots on Sunday night. The two interceptions are discussed in addition to the failed fourth and goal play. Overall, we struggle to produce very many positive things to say about Pittsburgh's offensive effort on Sunday night other than to conclude it was very offensive to watch. While the Steelers’ defensive play wasnt awful against the Chargers, the unit still failed to register any takeaways to go along with their five sacks of QB Justin Herbert. We discuss the good, bad, and the ugly when it comes to the Sunday night play of that side of the football. We discuss the quick snap to throw time of Herbert. The few big plays the Chargers offense registered, and much more. The Steelers weren’t great when it came to special teams play on Sunday night, so we go over that phase of the game from the Sunday night loss as well. Should the Steelers be heavy favorites in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals? Is this more than just a middling 2025 Steelers team we are all watching? November 7, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 47 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night. The Steelers made a few more transactions since our Wednesday show so Alex and I go over the Addition of DT Brodric Martin-Rhodes and the waiving of OLB DeMarvin Leal. We also go over the fact that the Steelers now enter Friday with just a 52-man roster. Will Martin-Rhodes see action on Sunday night against the Chargers and how does he fit with the Steelers? November 3, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 45 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 9 Sunday home win against the Indianapolis Colts. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday inactive list, the few injuries sustained by the Steelers in their 27-20 win against the Colts, and the several transactions the team has made since our Friday show. The Steelers defense played extremely well on Sunday against the Colts as they rebounded following the unit's poor Week 8 showing against the Green Bay Packers. Because of that stellar performance by that unit against the Colts, Alex and I start on that side of the football. Alex and I go over the schematic and personnel changes the Steelers made on defense on Sunday against the Colts that resulted in the unit registering numerous takeaways and five sacks of Colts QB Daniel Jones. We discuss the several big plays made by the defense on Sunday and go over some key stats when it comes to the scheme used. While the Steelers defense was far from perfect on Sunday, the good clearly made a difference in the game. Will the Steelers continue to use Jalen Ramsey and Kyle Dugger as their two starting safeties? We discuss that possibility and go over several snap counts on that side of the football. After thoroughly breaking down the play of the Steelers’ defense on Sunday, Alex and I then discuss the good, bad, and ugly from the offense against the Colts. That unit was able to produce 24 points off of turnovers and even without registering any explosive plays of 20 yards or longer. We talk about how the offense was clunky overall on Sunday but managed to produce three touchdowns just the same. WR Roman Wilson fumbled away the football late in Sunday's game, so we discuss that play. We also discuss some key metrics related to the play of Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers against the Colts.
