๐ŸŽ„ How do you know the holidays have officially arrived? For Keith and Clay, it starts with overflowing Thanksgiving plates, an army of Christmas trees, and the return of college football chaos. In this week's episode, the guys catch up after the holiday break and dive right into family stories, travel updates, and the traditions that make this season their favorite. ๐Ÿฆƒ They swap Thanksgiving highlights, from marathon cooking sessions to Clay's beef tenderloin experiment and Keith's wife collecting vintage ceramic Christmas trees, now totaling more than a dozen. The conversation quickly shifts into holiday decorating styles (or lack thereof), and the hilarious contrast between Keith's fully decked-out home and Clay's minimalist "lights on a plant" setup. ๐Ÿˆ Of course, it wouldn't be TexTenn without a spirited detour into college football. The two break down the latest drama; from rivalry wins to playoff frustrations to Lane Kiffin's controversial move and share the kind of unfiltered, emotional reactions only true fans can deliver. A memorable bar story involving an overly confident LSU fan adds fuel to the fire. ๐ŸŽ… The episode wraps with lighthearted talk about gift-giving, Christmas shopping stress, cheesecake mishaps, and their ongoing hunt for the next guest. It's a warm, funny, holiday-season episode filled with real-life moments, sports debates, and the familiar TexTenn charm.
How far would you go to cheer on your kid's team? Even if it meant embarrassing them in the process? In this week's TexTenn episode, Keith shares the hilarious story of showing up to his daughter's soccer tournament in a full inflatable turkey costume, only to discover that the one person who didn't find it funnyโ€ฆ was his daughter. What started as a fun idea quickly turned into a viral moment, rain delays included. ๐Ÿฆƒโšฝ๏ธย  The Thanksgiving spirit continues as Keith and Clay dive into holiday plans, cooking strategies, and why spatchcocking a turkey has become a game-changing tradition in the Heavilin household. From ChatGPT-powered recipe planning to kitchen mishaps from previous years, the guys compare notes on how they prepare for the biggest food week of the year. ๐Ÿ—โœจย  Of course, no TexTenn episode is complete without a few detours, this time covering everything from driving habits and bathroom sensor frustrations to college football, NIL madness, and political hot takes that swing from surprising to sharply funny. Clay even suffers through a live tech meltdown when his screen suddenly goes completely black, adding to the chaotic charm of the conversation. ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ”ฅย  It's a light, laughter-filled episode that blends real-life parenting, holiday chaos, sports rants, and everyday annoyances in the most TexTenn way possible. Whether you're coaching from the sidelines, prepping your Thanksgiving menu, or just here for the laughs, this one's guaranteed to feel relatable and entertaining. ๐ŸŽง๐Ÿค ย
Have you ever met someone who claims to be a left-handed driver? Clay has and it sends him and Keith into one of the funniest debates they've had in weeks. From a FedEx encounter gone sideways to questioning whether "left-handed driving" is even real, the episode kicks off with pure TexTenn chaos and laughter.ย  Things take a more serious turn when the conversation shifts into America's health insurance system. Clay and Keith break down why choosing a plan feels impossible, why premiums make no sense, and why the system seems set up to fail the people who actually pay into it. Their candid stories; from outrageous deductibles to real-life experiences with Obamacare, paint a picture many Americans will instantly relate to.ย  But of course, it wouldn't be TexTenn without a classic rant. This time, Keith unloads on the world's most annoying public bathroom features: paper towel dispensers that give you three useless inches, sensors that never work, and restrooms so bad they become instant no-go zones. It's relatable, ridiculous, and guaranteed to make you laugh. ๐Ÿšฝ๐Ÿ˜…ย  From family stories to sports talk to accidental political commentary, this episode delivers the perfect blend of humor, honesty, and everyday life frustrations. Tune in for laughs, real conversations, and the kind of storytelling only Keith and Clay can pull off. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ ย
๐ŸŽ„ Ever gone all-in on Christmas decorating? Only to end up limping away from it? In this episode of TexTenn, Keith shares how prepping for the holidays led to a painful (and slightly hilarious) knee injury while hauling nine full-sized Christmas trees out of the attic. Clay can't help but laugh along as they talk about the chaos of early Christmas setups, the aches of getting older, and how festive ambition sometimes comes with bruises. ๐Ÿˆ From there, the conversation turns to college football, Tennessee's struggles, Texas' close calls, and that viral moment involving an Oklahoma kicker's very questionable shorts. The two swap stories and good-natured trash talk about their teams while keeping the humor alive. ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ They also dive into daylight saving time frustrations, wonder why we still bother changing clocks, and joke about how time zones make everyday life confusing. Plus, Keith's kids get a shoutout for their 3D printing projects, including a Toothless dragon that's winning fans at school. ๐Ÿฌ Wrapping things up, Clay introduces Keith to Scheels; the "superstore of all superstores," before the pair touch briefly on politics, small-town life, and why there's always room for a good laugh, even when your knee is giving out.
Ever been schooled on tech by your own mom? ๐Ÿค” In this episode of TexTenn, Keith and Clay kick things off with laughter and a little humility as they talk about the moment Keith's mom showed him an iPhone feature he didn't even know existed. From iPhone "send later" tricks to CarPlay resets, the guys share a few tech discoveries that might just save you from your next gadget headache. ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ’ก Of course, it wouldn't be TexTenn without some good old-fashioned football talk. ๐Ÿˆ The conversation quickly turns to the latest in college football, from Texas and Mississippi State's nail-biters to LSU's coaching shake-ups and fan chaos in the stands. Between game recaps and wild predictions, there's plenty of friendly banter, laughter, and a few eye-roll-worthy hot takes. As the episode rolls on, Keith and Clay dive into midlife fitness, knees that pop for no reason, and the home workout machine that's changing how they stay active; the Tonal. ๐Ÿ’ช They also swap stories about Halloween traditions on the island, parenting moments, and why cookies and ice cream are the ultimate recovery food. ๐Ÿช๐ŸŽƒ It's a mix of football, tech talk, and real-life humor, the kind of episode that feels like catching up with old friends over coffee. Grab your earbuds and tune in for another fun, fast-paced, and completely unfiltered conversation on TexTenn! ๐ŸŽง ย
Some stories start with good intentionsโ€ฆ and end with cigars, chaos, and a few questionable choices. ๐Ÿ˜… In this episode of TexTenn, Keith and Clay swap tales of football frustrations, dad-life misadventures, and moments that didn't quite go as planned. From a middle school "business mogul" getting his 3D-printed fidgets confiscated to a legendary cigar story that went horribly wrong, it's one laugh after another. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Between all the laughter, the duo dives into college football highs and lows: Tennessee heartbreaks, Vanderbilt surprises, and coaching moves that make absolutely no sense. ๐Ÿˆ They even manage to fit in some real talk about parenting, politics, and why Keith saying "I don't drink" always seems to confuse people. It's the kind of conversation that starts light and ends somewhere completely unexpected; with humor, honesty, and a whole lot of Southern charm. ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ’ฌ So sit back, light up (or maybe don't), and join Keith and Clay as they navigate life's little disasters one laugh at a time. ๐ŸŽง ย

In this episode, the guys bounce from Saturday game-day highs and heartbreaks to small-town laughs and local frustrations; all with that signature TexTenn mix of wit, honesty, and Southern humor. ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ’ฌ From the excitement of gifting a kid his first 3D printer ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ to realizing Corpus Christi might actually run out of water ๐Ÿ’ง, this episode swings between the hilarious and the serious. Keith dives into the city's $50 million desalination plant debacle, while Clay tries to wrap his head around how 3D printing works and somehow ends up talking about cows eating sheep. ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ˜… Of course, no TexTenn episode is complete without a little friendly trash talk about football, dad jokes from the Diamond B Tractors showroom, and a few unexpected life lessons along the way. Whether you're here for laughs, local insight, or just to hear two buddies figure out life one story at a time, you're in the right place. ๐Ÿค ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ So grab your sweet tea, settle in, and join the conversation because only on TexTenn can a discussion about football turn into a full-blown debate about desalination, diesel mishaps, and fainting goats. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”ฅ ย
How far can passion and persistence take you even when life throws unexpected challenges your way? ๐Ÿ’ช In this inspiring episode of the TexTenn Podcast, hosts Clay Blair and Keith Heavilin sit down with Randi Hamlyn, founder of Indigo Lane, to talk about how a simple leather tote bag turned into a thriving Texas-made brand loved by customers across multiple states. Randi opens up about her journey from sewing in her laundry room while homeschooling her kids ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ to running a full-fledged leather goods business in Sinton, Texas, where customers can watch her team handcraft every bag right in front of them. She shares how her upbringing, her husband's support, and her late father-in-law's influence shaped her creative path. You'll hear how she learned to run a business with zero experience, the story behind Indigo Lane's charming "from our farm to your arm" idea ๐Ÿ‘œ, and how community and faith helped her turn a hobby into a purpose-driven brand. Is common sense making a comeback? ๐Ÿค” In this week's episode, Clay and Keith dive into one of their most candid conversations yet. From football fields and family moments to the bigger questions shaping American culture today. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ They kick things off with laughs over the Tennessee vs. Mississippi State game and a little Cubs baseball pride, but things quickly turn deeper as they discuss Pete Hegseth's fiery speech to U.S. military leaders and what it really means to bring strength and discipline back to America's armed forces. ๐Ÿ’ช From there, the guys talk about the recent Netflix controversy; questioning why children's shows are starting conversations about gender and sexuality, and why parents are right to draw the line. They also reflect on the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination and how one man's courage to speak up continues to inspire faith-driven conviction across the country. ๐Ÿ™ Of course, it wouldn't be a TexTenn episode without humor... there's plenty of laughter about Taylor Swift, parenting moments, livestock auctions, and even a sheep-farming scheme gone sideways. ๐Ÿ‘ Through it all, Clay and Keith remind us that life's not just about headlines: it's about faith, family, and having the courage to stand for what's right. โค๏ธ ย
๐ŸŽ™๏ธ What happens when SEC football, national headlines, and real-life stories collide? In this week's episode of TexTenn, Keith and Clay dive into everything from Tennessee's football schedule and Lane Kiffin drama to surprising news about Tylenol studies and the powerful message from Charlie Kirk's memorial service. ๐Ÿˆ The guys kick things off with their usual back-and-forth on college football, debating Tennessee's rivals, questioning the fairness of SEC scheduling, and of course, sharing strong opinions on Lane Kiffin's controversial coaching career. Whether you're a die-hard SEC fan or just love hearing passionate sports talk, this segment brings plenty of fire and laughs. ๐Ÿ’Š The conversation then shifts to a serious topic making headlines: claims that Tylenol use during pregnancy may be linked to autism. Keith and Clay react to the controversy, social media stunts, and why some people seem willing to risk everything just to make a point. Their honest takes cut through the noise and highlight what really matters when it comes to health and family. ๐Ÿ™ Finally, the episode closes on a heartfelt note with reflections on the Charlie Kirk memorial. The discussion touches on faith, forgiveness, and how one man's life continues to inspire people, including Keith's own son. It's a reminder that even in a world full of division, there's hope and meaning to be found in community and belief. ย
What does it mean to carry forward someone's legacy after they're gone? ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Clay and Keith open this week's episode reflecting on the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination and the impact he left behind. From thousands of students stepping up to start new chapters to people being inspired to return to church, they share how his influence continues to ripple through communities and families across the country. The guys share their usual mix of honesty and humor, keeping the sports talk real and relatable. Family life and local news aren't far behind. Keith reveals his son's entrepreneurial "Stickergate 2.0" sticker-selling hustle at school ๐Ÿ’ต, while Clay talks about the challenges facing Corpus Christi's iconic One Shoreline Plaza building. They also dive into Texas' growing drought concerns ๐ŸŒต, upcoming hunting trips, and the never-ending debate over seatbelts and safety alarms in modern trucks. Whether you're here for faith, football, or just a good laugh, this episode has a little something for everyone. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ ย
We've never done an episode like this. This was one of the hardest episodes we've ever recorded. We honestly didn't know if we should have even recorded it. But this one really hit us hard. Last week, Charlie Kirk was assassinated at a public event that happened in Utah. It was supposed to be an open for all public dialogue where people are allowed to ask questions, to speak what's on their mind. And if you're following Charlie Kirk, you'd understand how respectful and open he was. People called him names: f*scist, r*cist, h*moph*be; but if you watched him, you saw he let anyone step up, ask anything, and he answered with patience and conviction, always tying it back to his faith. For us, this isn't just news you scroll past. It's personal. As dads, we had to look at our kids and try to explain why someone could lose their life for speaking truth and living out their beliefs. That's not something we ever thought we'd have to do. The Charlie Kirk legacy means something to us, and it matters that we talk about it. You'll hear it in this episode. There were a lot of pauses where we just didn't know what to say. We're sad, we're mad, we're frustrated, and honestly we're scared about what this means for our country. But we also believe the Charlie Kirk legacy is more than one man's death. It's courage, it's conviction, it's standing up when the world tries to silence you. We don't have neat answers or polished thoughts here. This episode is just us, grieving, wrestling with what happened, and trying to make sense of it out loud. But one thing remains certain, the Charlie Kirk legacy isn't gone, and we believe it calls us to keep going, keep speaking, and keep the faith, no matter how hard it gets. ย
What kind of world are we living in where a simple video game can open the door to something much darker? In this episode, Keith and Clay dive into the unsettling reality of online gaming, parenting challenges, and how technology has reshaped childhood. From Roblox to real-life dangers, they ask tough questions that every parent should be thinking about. ๐Ÿ‘€๐ŸŽฎ But this isn't just about gaming. Along the way, the conversation twists through politics, parenting teenagers, and even a hilarious story about a rodeo horse named Flower and an Oldsmobile pulling a trailer. You'll laugh, you'll shake your head, and you might even rethink the way you approach certain parts of everyday life. ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ˜‚ To top it off, a special guest joins the conversation mid-episode, Clay's older brother. His stories about rodeo beginnings, skiing wipeouts, and even why he became an attorney bring a fresh perspective and plenty of laughs. It's a family reunion filled with real talk, wild stories, and the kind of brotherly banter you don't want to miss. ๐Ÿ”๏ธโš–๏ธ Stick around until the end, because even after all the laughs and life lessons, the guys admit, there are still plenty of stories left untold. And you'll definitely want to be here when they come back for more. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ย
What a weekend! ๐Ÿˆ The first games of the season are in the books, and college football week one gave fans plenty to cheer, debate, and laugh about. From unexpected losses to big wins, the stage is already set for a season full of twists and turns. Clay and Keith break down the drama, starting with the Texas Longhorns' rough night against Ohio State and Arch Manning's bumpy debut. They also share their thoughts on the Tennessee Vols' performance, the playful "real UT vs. fake UT" rivalry, and why South Carolina's ranking feels a little too generous. ๐Ÿ”ฅ The guys also dive into bigger storylines off the field, from Nico Iamaleava's NIL gamble that backfired at UCLA to Bill Belichick's surprising (and disastrous) start at UNC. And of course, they couldn't resist talking about Alabama's shocking loss and what it might mean for their dynasty. If you love football banter, rival jokes, and bold takes, this episode is for you. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Settle in as Clay and Keith give their honest reactions to week one and what's coming next in a season that's already shaping up to be wild. ๐Ÿš€ ย
โœˆ๏ธ What's worse than a long flight? A long flight that turns into four planes, five airports, and endless delays. In this week's TexTenn episode, Keith relives his nightmare trip with American Airlines; from missed connections to malfunctioning brakes, and why he might just stick with Southwest next time. But travel woes aren't the only disasters on the table. ๐Ÿช‘ Clay and Keith dive into Cracker Barrel's logo rebrand meltdown, a fiasco so bad it was reversed in just 72 hours. What happens when a company completely forgets its audience? Spoiler: billions lost, brand loyalty shaken, and plenty of laughs for everyone watching from the sidelines. Of course, it wouldn't be TexTenn without some sports talk. ๐Ÿˆ The guys weigh in on college football, NIL deals, and whether Arch Manning could change the game forever. Along the way, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce even make an appearance in the conversation with jokes about breakup albums, prenups, and whether love is good for her music career. And if that's not enough chaos, Clay introduces his new pickleball paddle, proudly named Laser Rifle, while Keith questions the sanity of naming sports gear. ๐ŸŽพ Add in ping pong battles, fitness challenges, and their usual banter, and you've got an episode packed with laughs, hot takes, and a little friendly trash talk. ย
โœˆ๏ธ Ever had one of those airport moments where TSA seems more interested in flexing their power than helping you get on your flight? Keith sure has and in this episode, he shares his unforgettable run-ins with airport security, including the time he tried to use his concealed carry permit as an ID. From baggage fees to first-class upgrades that cost less than coach, this episode dives headfirst into the frustrations (and absurdities) of modern air travel. ๐ŸŽพ But it's not all airport drama. Clay and Keith also swap stories about their latest pickleball obsession, the quest for the perfect paddle, and how the rules still don't make much sense. Sports make another appearance with Keith's kids, from sore legs after agility training to basketball teams that are "too good" for their league. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ Of course, no TexTenn episode is complete without family banter. You'll hear about the new Thanksgiving "rule" that requires text replies within ten minutes or risk losing your seat at dinner. Plus, a few laughs (and awkward moments) about pool parties, invites, and even convenience store bathrooms. ๐Ÿ“š And somewhere in between, there's talk about college students using ChatGPT, why professors are behind the times, and even a little SEC football banter. It's an episode full of travel rants, sports laughs, and plenty of TexTenn storytelling you won't want to miss. ย
What's harder: winning at pickleball or figuring out why a paddle costs $250? ๐Ÿ“ In this episode of TexTenn, Keith and Clay dive into their latest matches, from Blair's never-ending battle to keep the ball in bounds to the discovery that pickleball gear might be more expensive than their first cars. And yes, they still can't agree if it's the paddle or the player that's the real problem. The conversation bounces from court to court as Keith debates whether playing in the coaches' basketball game is a bold challenge or a guaranteed gas-out. ๐Ÿ€ Clay makes the case for indoor sports in South Texas' sweltering heat, while both swap stories about kids' sports, running stats, and the undeniable truth that your partner always runs more when you're the weak link. Things take a political turn as they discuss the curious case of former Corpus Christi Mayor Dan McQueen, his 37-day stint in office, his self-published book, and his potential run against Michael Cloud. ๐Ÿ—ณ Naturally, this spirals into imagining what a Clay Blair campaign would look likeโ€ฆ and whether it would be more comedy show than campaign trail. From overpriced paddles to political punchlines, this episode serves up TexTenn's signature mix of friendly jabs, local color, and unexpected detours you'll be laughing about long after the final point. ๐ŸŽ™๐Ÿ”ฅ ย
Ever swung a knife at a fly and ended up in a workman's comp conversation? ๐Ÿชฐ๐Ÿ”ช In this episode of TexTenn, Clay Blair recounts the hilariously painful story of how a rogue insect, a hamburger, and a kitchen knife collided to create one of the most chaotic lunch breaks imaginable. Keith and Clay also dive into updates on family, sports, and their latest adventures; from Clay's finger injury and his niece hierarchy, to Savannah Banana baseball camp and Coach Rack's now-infamous CNN faceplant. ๐Ÿ€โšพ Yes, there's a lot of laughter, but also a surprising amount of heart as they talk about parenting, mental health, and moments that matter. Tune in for rants about Patrick Mahomes, defensive basketball elbows, bad brothers clubs, childhood fork fights, and why Keith's daughter being "too aggressive" on the court is the biggest win of all. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™Œ You never know where this episode is going but one thing's for sure: it's one wild, hilarious ride you won't want to miss.
What happens when your kids are more competitive than prepared? ๐Ÿ˜… In this episode of TexTenn, Keith and Clay dive into the chaotic world of coaching youth sports, where emotions run high and the vertical jumps areโ€ฆ embarrassingly low. Keith shares his experience coaching his daughter Annabelle's basketball team; complete with hot gyms, missing players, and a halftime speech for the ages. ๐Ÿ€ Meanwhile, Clay relates with tales of horseback riding drama and daughters who definitely don't take failure lightly. And of course, Keith takes a few jabs at Clay's AM radio habits while gearing up for a sweaty weekend in Houston at baseball camp. ๐Ÿงข๐Ÿ”ฅ It's everything you didn't know you needed in a conversation; funny, relatable, and real. Whether you're a parent, coach, or just someone trying to survive the summer, this episode's got a little something for everyone. ย
Ever spent $450 just to wait in line all day at a theme park? Or staged a fake silent treatment just to mess with your coworkers? In this episode, Clay and Keith return after a summer full of chaos, laughs, and a little bit of jet lag. From Florida to Tennessee and everywhere in between, they're catching up on all the wild stories that piled up during their time off. Clay recounts his whirlwind trip to Universal Studios, the sticker shock of Fast Passes, and how his daughter dragged him across the park from sunrise to sundown. Meanwhile, Keith kept things grounded with some good ol' water skiingโ€”plus a fishing story that nearly ended in a walk home over one very oversized redfish. There's also a heartfelt (and hilarious) tale of a prank involving beloved vendor Scott King that left everyone scratching their heads and Kate ready to throw something. The guys also dive into recent headlines, including questions around the Epstein file, U.S. military moves abroad, and the mysterious world of auto-pen pardons. If you've missed their banter, off-the-cuff insights, and total refusal to stay on topic, this is the comeback episode you don't want to miss. So grab your headphones, skip the Fast Pass line, and catch up with Clay and Keith as they serve up laughs, news, and the kind of storytelling only TexTenn can deliver. ๐ŸŽง๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ย
