We're back with another silly season MBM, focusing on something random within the game of golf due to the lack of interesting golf to talk about this time of year.
Today's topic is golf apparel. More specifically, golf apparel brands and which ones we are long on, short on, and holding. As the game has grown, so has the offering on the apparel front and it feels like there are more options and decisions to be made than ever around what to wear. Which ones do we recommend or not? Tune in to find out!

Interesting one today, with the only real through line being public golf.
Cabot Karoo is a high dollar project in South Florida whereas Champion Hill is a mom and pop sort of golf course outside of Traverse City, Michigan. While these 2 courses don't really have a ton in common, that in essence is what house theory is all about. We can evaluate golf holes essentially against themselves and decide which one is the best version of itself vs comparing one hole to another.

As we continue on with the silly season, we are back for another random episode where today we will be talking about some of the legacy PGA Tour events that we have had about enough of and would like to see replaced with other logical golf courses and geographies.
The vibe at the PGA Tour seems to always be more more more. There is a good case that we have a handful of events that could go and also some events that could be replaced. Today, we chat about 6 different tournaments we have outlined that could be good candidates for replacement.

Hello, Tie People! We are back for mudball monday and today we are talking about new builds and how we look at how they may age based on only one or two early plays of the golf course. We are in a some sort of a renaissance of new construction of golf courses and it is hard to predict within reason which of these courses may be ones that stand the test of time to become some of the world's best, and which ones will lose their shine quickly.
Today, we hope to make that a bit easier on you based on how we think about judging a new build and the things we look for in a course that will really have long term staying power!

Today is a good one. We go deep on the LIV tour and all the thoughts we have had on the future of the league, the players, the teams, and the relationship with the game of golf overall over the next few years.
If you enjoy a bit of banter and have any interest in what is going on over on the LIV tour, you'll love this episode.
Hope you all enjoy this conversation.
Thanks for the support as always!
Cheers,

The Tie season long awards are back once again with awards that fit the way only we would think about how to decide who had the best year's in golf in different categories. Things like:
- The fast shitting dog award: Who came out hot this year and couldn't sustain?
- The Ron Weasley Award: Who reminded us all he or she "is still here and relevant?"
- The Mr. Clean award: Who can we only expect one or two decent performances from on a yearly basis at this point?
All this and more here on Mudball Monday!
Hope you all enjoy this conversation.
