Plus - Fiorentina’s plight deepens after their latest defeat leaves them eight points from safety in Serie A. Over in Germany, Bayern had a scare as they were staring down the barrel of defeat to bottom of the table Mainz, before - of course - Harry Kane stepped up to convert a penalty and take a point back to Munich… and somehow still manage to extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table! And in La Liga - Real Madrid picked up a precious three points at Alaves with Xabi Alonso’s job reportedly on the line. But Barcelona stay four points clear after Raphinha’s double made it seven wins in a row for the league leaders. We kick things off in France, where PSG have João Neves to thank for their two-point lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table after his 95th minute winner against Lyon. But chasers Lens and Marseille had wins of their own to keep the pressure on Luis Enrique’s side. In the Bundesliga - Bayern didn’t win a game! But neither did Leipzig or Dortmund, meaning Vincent Kompany’s men have actually extended their lead at the top of the table to six points despite the 2-2 draw at Union Berlin. In Spain, Real Madrid were lucky to come away from Rayo Vallecano with a point - which Barcelona took full advantage of in their 4-2 win at Celta Vigo, featuring a hat-trick from 37-year-old Robert Lewandowski. A special guest joins us from Vigo… nothing to do with Nando’s…. And in Serie A, are we seeing a repeat of Napoli’s last title defence?! Antonio Conte made some… interesting comments after his side were beaten 2-0 by Bologna to fall behind Inter and Roma at the top of the table. Plus - what’s going on at Ajax?! Dutch football expert Michiel Jongsma joins us to explain some of the fun and games in the Eredivisie - and whether a certain ten Hag might be making a return… Produced by Lucy Oliva. Oh no! Goodbye, Jules. I hope you will be able to find another Frenchie to replace him!
Totally Football European Edition remains the pinnacle football podcast.
Duncan's endless jabs at "Yashin trophy" Emi Martinez are getting annoying. Did he 'rob' his own favourite goalkeeper of the award or something? If he's so offended by Martinez winning it, he should make a case for his competitors in the years 2023 and 2024 instead. And If he wants to make arguments for Raya, Courtois, or Alisson in those years, he'll quickly find out there aren't (m)any.
Why even do the boring EPL-only versions of this show at this point? The European football version is so much better and funnier! 👍
You have done a fantastic job of highlighting the NFL's https://thewire.signingdaysports.com/football/future-of-the-nfl-football-operations-predictions-and-trends/ bright future in this article about improving your American football skills! The expansion of the league's reach, both domestically and abroad, with more foreign games and more fans, is something to be excited about. What actually distinguishes the National Football League from other leagues is its dedication to innovation, particularly in the areas of player safety and technology. Efforts to enhance the watching experience and stay updated with new technology demonstrate the NFL's commitment to staying ahead of the curve. I can't wait to watch the NFL develop in the years to come!
Currently the best European football poscast around!
this is painful to listen to. to be honest and obviously every other word it feels like from lame host and panel...
Ok so Jimbo did say Thursday (rather than Tuesday) at the beginning, I double-checked
I always follow high-profile football events such as the World Cup. I used to just watch matches when I got together with my friends, but then my friends taught me how to bet on sports. They advised me this bookmaker https://1xbet-ug-betting.com/ because of the high odds and user-friendly system. Now we compete with friends who will win the most.

The Inter Totally Cup became the dumbest competition of all time after those silly backward song questions… if you’re going to do a quiz segment at least make it interesting to listen to.
