The Euro crew are back as Jimbo, Pol Ballús, James Horncastle, Julien Laurens and Seb Stafford-Bloor (in person!) assemble for a bumper look ahead to Matchday 1 in the Champions League. Barcelona proved it’s a case of no Yamal, no stadium, no problem - routing Valencia 6-0 in front of less than 6,000 fans at the Johan Cruyff Stadium. But it’s Real who continue to set the early pace - reduced to 10-men but still able to get the better of Sociedad to maintain their perfect start to the season. The game of the weekend came in Serie A, where the Derby d'Italia certainly didn’t disappoint as the Thuram brothers took centre stage in a 4-3 thriller in Turin. Plus - Antonio Conte 2.0 shows he’s not as inflexible as everyone thinks - with his Napoli side coasting to a 3-1 win at Fiorentina to also make it three wins from three at the start of the campaign. Bayern warmed up for the visit of Chelsea with an emphatic 5-0 Bundesliga victory over Hamburg on Saturday, while Leverkusen got the post-ten Hag era off to a winning start in their 3-1 beating of Frankfurt - despite being reduced to nine men! PSG suffered injury blows aplenty in their 2-0 win over Lens which featured an emotional goodbye to one of their own - Presnel Kimpembe - after more than 20 years at the club. Plus, how equipped are Marseille to come away from the Bernabéu with a result in one of the most intriguing ties of the round? All that plus training ground cats, Charli xcx’s wedding, nights out in Monaco and a whole lot of innuendo (we can only apologise).  Produced by Lucy Oliva. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Moments of the week or fortnight or whenever - and a UCL tease (00.45)• PART 2: La Liga review - Barca win big while Madrid stay perfect (11.40)• PART 3: Serie A review - 4-3 thriller in Turin and a new look Conte (26.10)• PART 4: More Serie A - just for Jules! And it's more misery for West Ham, Wolves and goalless Villa.Plus great headers, ref cams and the latest evolution in non-celebrations.Produced by Charlie JonesRUNNING ORDER: • PART 1a: Man City 3-0 Man United (05.00)• PART 1b: Burnley 0-1 Liverpool (12.00) • PART 1c: Arsenal 3-0 Nottingham Forest (17.00)• PART 1d: 4-3 in the Derby d’Italia (25.30)• PART 2a: Brentford 2-2 Chelsea (30.00)• PART 2b: West Ham 0-3 Spurs (37.00)• PART 3: The rest of the Premier League weekend (47.00) Hosted on Acast. Jimbo welcomes Duncan Alexander, Michael Cox and Pedro Pinto to reminisce on Jose Mourinho's trailblazing Porto side. The panel look back on a time when this young, refreshing coach from Portugal turned Porto into world beaters, winning the UEFA Cup, 2 Primeira Liga's, 2 Portuguese cups and eventually the Champions League, with a talented side more attacking than you remember. His European success, his way with words and his iconic touchline celebration at Old Trafford were most people in the UK's introduction to Mou, in what would become a long and unforgettable career. It could have all been so different too; it was 25 years ago this month that Mourinho got that first managerial role at Benfica but they let him go and the rest is history.Produced by Jesse Howard and Charlie Jones.RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Pedro's Portuguese food recommendations and Duncan’s quiz question (00.40)• PART 1b: This week in football aka The Totally Almanac (06.25) • PART 2: Just how good were Mourinho's Porto? Jimbo's got Matt Davies-Adams, Michael Cox and Tom Williams alongside him to run the rule over a busy weekend of international qualifiers and WSL action. England's 2-0 victory over Andorra at Villa Park was perhaps predictably drab, but it was goals galore elsewhere and records broken for the likes of Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands - not to mention emotional scenes in Buenos Aires after Lionel Messi's last match on home soil with Argentina. There's a chance to reflect on the news that broke late on Thursday that Daniel Levy is to leave Tottenham after nearly 25 years as the league’s longest-serving executive chairman. And the brand new WSL season got underway in some style with Chelsea continuing their remarkable unbeaten run, Olivia Smith scoring a banger on her Emirates debut - and Ornella Vignola bagging a hat-trick on her debut at Anfield in the Merseyside derby! Jimbo welcomes Duncan Alexander, Felipe Cardenas and Luis Miguel Echegaray to discuss one of the great forgotten sides of the last three decades - the Colombia team of the early 90s.Led by Carlos Valderrama and sprinkled with the antics of goalkeeper Rene Higuita, Colombia captured the affections of many neutrals at Italia 90 and an iconic 5-0 win in Argentina saw them installed amongst the favourites for USA 94.Amid the backdrop of death threats from the cartels, a side featuring Asprilla and Rincon were eliminated early with Andres Escobar tragically murdered 10 days after scoring a crucial own goal. Not the only Escobar in this remarkable story.Produced by Charlie Jones and Lucy Oliva.RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1a: The best hamburger in Atlanta and Duncan’s quiz question (02.30)• PART 1b: Big Colombian football anniversaries (07.30) • PART 2: The birth of toque toque (15.30)• PART 3: Colombia at Italia 90 and the 5-0 win in Argentina (26.00)• PART 4: USA 94 and the murder of Andres Escobar (40.00) Hosted on Acast. Speaking of strikers - will the arrival of Rasmus Hojlund cement Napoli’s status as favourites for the Serie A title?  Next stop - Ligue 1 - where it was goals galore on Saturday, as Lille put seven past Lorient in an extraordinary second half showing and Toulouse v PSG finished 3-6 with a Joao Neves masterclass… where he scored a hat-trick featuring two overhead kicks! Over in the Bundesliga, Erik ten Hag’s short and fraught spell as Bayer Leverkusen manager was brought to a swift end following their collapse against 10 men in Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Bremen. So where did it all go so wrong? Harry Kane picked up where he left off last season, scoring a 13-minute hat-trick to take him to a ludicrous 65 goals in 64 Bundesliga games. Not such good news for Erik ten Hag’s Leverkusen though - beaten 2-1 by Hoffenheim at the BayArena. In Ligue 1, despite the chaos off the field Marseille found some unity on it to beat Paris FC 5-2 at the Vélodrome, while PSG recorded another narrow 1-0 win as their underwhelming performances continued. Olivier Giroud stole the headlines with a 91st minute winner for Lille against Monaco - the 350th goal of his professional career!Over in La Liga, there was late drama as Barcelona fought back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Levante. Jimbo's got Natalie Gedra, Jay Harris and Dom Fifield along for the ride as we look ahead to Matchday 2 in the Premier League - and discuss some rather hefty transfer news that might have caught your eye...That's right - it looks like Tottenham have been gazumped to the signing of Eberechi Eze by their old friends Arsenal... yikes! So does this mean that the Gunners really do have all the tools to win the Premier League? And where do Thomas Frank's Spurs turn now with a squad that looks ill-equipped to deal with the pressures of a busy schedule? There's tasty ties everywhere you look this Bank Holiday weekend - no more so than Monday night at St James' Park as Newcastle host Liverpool. What's the latest with Alexander Isak after Tuesday night's statement tête-à-tête?Elsewhere - there's more beef to be had between Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest at Selhurst. Is Graham Potter already in big trouble against former side Chelsea on Friday night? And what sort of Tottenham will turn up at Manchester City - with Pep's side having won just 1 of their last 4 against the visitors at the Etihad?!All that plus big waterslides, calamitous defending at Ibrox and a potentially sticky start to life at Hill Dickinson Stadium for the Toffees. Produced by Charlie Jones and Lucy Oliva. But is there anyone who can close the 19-point gap? And are Marseille already in self-destruct mode? The Liga season is well and truly underway, with holders Barcelona getting their campaign off to a winning start against the nine men of Mallorca. Real don’t play until Tuesday night - but how equipped are Xavi Alonso’s new-look side to topple Barca? Over in Italy, we’re in store for yet another fascinating title race. The news that Romelu Lukaku is set to miss the first three months of the season with a muscle strain could open the door for a challenger to Napoli’s crown. So will it be a resurgent Milan or perhaps Gasperini’s Roma that put up the greatest fight? And in Germany, Harry Kane’s won another trophy! Bayern take home the Supercup. While there are still some areas of concern for Vincent Kompany’s side - have the teams around them done enough over the summer to produce a title race? Produced by Lucy Oliva. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Welcome back! Duncan's endless jabs at "Yashin trophy" Emi Martinez are getting annoying. Did he 'rob' his own favourite goalkeeper of the award or something? If he's so offended by Martinez winning it, he should make a case for his competitors in the years 2023 and 2024 instead. And If he wants to make arguments for Raya, Courtois, or Alisson in those years, he'll quickly find out there aren't (m)any.

Why even do the boring EPL-only versions of this show at this point? The European football version is so much better and funnier! 👍

The expansion of the league's reach, both domestically and abroad, with more foreign games and more fans, is something to be excited about. What actually distinguishes the National Football League from other leagues is its dedication to innovation, particularly in the areas of player safety and technology. Efforts to enhance the watching experience and stay updated with new technology demonstrate the NFL's commitment to staying ahead of the curve. I can't wait to watch the NFL develop in the years to come!

I always follow high-profile football events such as the World Cup. I used to just watch matches when I got together with my friends, but then my friends taught me how to bet on sports. They advised me this bookmaker https://1xbet-ug-betting.com/ because of the high odds and user-friendly system. Now we compete with friends who will win the most.

The Inter Totally Cup became the dumbest competition of all time after those silly backward song questions… if you’re going to do a quiz segment at least make it interesting to listen to.
