About Jennifer:
https://www.thetragedyacademy.com/guests/jenn-johnson/
Hi, I’m Jennifer Johnson, a wife, mother of two, and a Registered Nurse in Ontario, Canada. I have spent the last sixteen years of my career in the emergency room of big and small hospitals all over Northern and Southern Ontario. I have personally been a part of all the heartbreak, drama, bullying, life to death moments, and then also trying to cope in the ER during an ongoing pandemic. My debut novel - Nursing Intuition: How to Trust Your Gut, Save Your Sanity and Survive Your Career, launches Oct 29th, and it's my rallying cry to all the other nurses struggling through this pandemic and finding that they are losing their love of nursing. They (as well as I) are burnt out and depressed and feeling hopeless. The love, caring, and camaraderie of nursing have changed for all of us, and the expectation that we continue to show up to a job that puts our lives on the line is new to us, and we are not doing well. I wanted to put this book out there to let nurses know they are not alone. Bringing back the love of nursing is possible. Now more than ever, we need to support and help raise each other.

AmiLynne Carroll, “Babs,” certified Holistic Practitioner & Holistic Life Coach, is a devoted and trusted Travel Partner supporting seekers worldwide who wish to transcend the roller coaster of the human experience to rediscover the divine ebb and flow of Life. A practiced student of the human and the divine, AmiLynne unites the practical with the incorporeal, guiding clients as they connect with who they’ve always been but simply forgotten along the way. A published author, TEDx speaker, and steadfast seeker herself, AmiLynne is dedicated to the healing, liberation, and awakening of all that lives. AmiLynne Carroll, Truth – freshly discovered in the Now of Being.
AmiLynne does not refer to herself as a coach but rather as a Travel Partner who guides and empowers each individual to find their voice, their core beliefs, their healing, and their path forward. In essence, AmiLynne helps remind clients who they have been all along, having simply forgotten along the way.
Traditionally, life coaching and spiritual direction are handled as separate areas of one's life and often by guidance from separate professionals. A life coach and a spiritual director both ask open-ended questions, listening for significance beyond the words you say to help you reflect on your life.
In working with AmiLynne, one receives spiritual support in parallel to addressing basic life questions rooted in a belief that our very life originates from a spiritual source. By creating a space that is safe to explore the beliefs, stories, and questions that have led each to where they are, AmiLynne empowers clients to create an authentic life plan forward that surpasses the standard 'How To' revealing an active plan toward "How Do I." Authentic, conscious transformation is the inner result allowing the outward results to manifest in most unimaginable and serendipitously spiritual ways.

Chris Hunt: The Florida Bushman
Chris Hunt began with extraordinary challenges that would profoundly shape his life. Born with a congenital heart defect that required a ventricular septal defect (VSD) repair, Chris underwent his first open-heart surgery at just 11 months old. This initial procedure not only repaired the hole in his heart but also involved the implantation of his first pacemaker. This surgery was the first of four open-heart surgeries Chris would endure.
At the tender age of two, Chris faced another daunting diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). For the next three years, he bravely underwent chemotherapy. In 2005, Chris had his first artificial heart valve replacement, adding another significant chapter to his medical journey. During a routine outpatient procedure in middle school, he suffered a stroke, further complicating his health challenges.
Throughout his life, Chris has spent considerable amounts of time in hospitals. During these challenging times, he found solace and joy in television and videos, which helped him navigate the rough days. Despite being told repeatedly that his quality of life would be limited and that he wouldn't be able to do what others could, Chris chose to defy these limitations with humor and resilience.
Determined to bring smiles and laughter into the world, Chris created the persona of the Florida Bushman. With a unique blend of wit and humor, he has dedicated himself to spreading joy and positivity. Chris's story is one of courage, determination, and an unwavering spirit, proving that even in the face of adversity, one can find a way to bring light to others.
